Sick Bird, Emergency Care!! What to do when you can’t get to a Vet. Dehydrated Bird Health🤒

Toki got sick!! It was a weekend and no vet was available. Any time we humans recognize our bird is sick, our chance to act is very short. We have to act immediately! There are some things we can do to help your bird in cases where vets are not available. I am not a vet. If you can get your bird to a vet, it is highly recommended. with love, Mama B

Me too! At first I was really worried about him. But as he got better, I was excited to share with other bird people, I do hope it helps them, in case they are in a pinch like we were💕

My bird sick and I gave her lettuce and that has the after effect of hydration and it's good for her.

Power aide and Gatorade are just electrolyte drinks. But they help to keep important fluid elements in your body💕

It was my favorite the melon flavor😄It is recommended to use more natural, less color and less sugar if you can get it. I couldn’t at the time. So I used what I had. It was better than nothing, for sure💕

It is actually Powerade, but it is full of electrolytes. There are other electrolyte drinks that are better for your bird, but if in an emergency and you have one of these drinks on hand, it is very helpful to keep them from dehydrating. That is critical💕
