Hey the studies (by independent researchers too) show that scented candles release barely any carcinogens and that a busy street in a city has more inhaled chemicals than if you burn a candle in a small bathroom alone! Hope this makes you feel better and that you can enjoy your candles :) they don’t pose a risk to human health currently

In the US we have Thanksgiving. It's a much bigger holiday than you might think . Restaurants and grocery stores typically don't close down for any other holiday than Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's entirely about food, seeing family, food and more food if you didn't know already (so I've heard Christmas is your food holiday) but celebrating Christmas now would be spoiling Thanksgiving so that's why some of us avoid it

Love the fact that you didn’t go for Christmas decor yet. Too much of it too soon everywhere now. It’s a nice change to see you opt or a transitional vibe. I still definitely see this time as Autumn and kind of like the gloomy and dark days, especially when I work from home and can stay in and enjoy being warm and cosy.
I agree with you on candles. Once we move to our new place I’m going to invest in an electric infuser and essential oils.
I like the floral. I'm the same way. I like to celebrate every season and holiday. September I put out a few fall bits. Then Halloween, then different fall bits, then Christmas. Where is the highlander candle from?

Our cordless Dyson always seems to conk out before I finish hoovering the flat. Also, I am a toddler mummy and I spent today buying wrapping paper and Christmas cards. November prep is the way to go!!
