Didn't realize it was BID! I love the flexibility of RNR for at home peel use! Thx Doc!
What a great year of wildlife. Thank you for sharing with us. Looking forward to next year’s critters.
Thank you so much. I'm planning to do this protocol and you answered my questions.
Merry Christmas Dr.
Merry Christmas! All the best in 2024
Would love a video on lip spf products.
Super interesting
can you please do after Microneedling routine care
Interesting lecture. You look very nice. Greetings from Poland
Thank you. Happy New Year!
Fantastic video. Thank you so much. Just to be clear, we use the peel morning and night? Thank you again.
yes
I'm late on this video. Found you from Claudia. How can we get a discount on the Peel? Loving ur videos. I've been trying to catch up.
Dr. Ania, could you do a video comparing all ZO's sunscreens? Thank you!
I have to think of a way to create a video like that. It's challenging because I do not recommend chemical sunscreens and think there are much better sunscreens out there. Let me see how I could put a video together.
May you please do a video specifically for Wrinkle + Texture Repair?
yes today's video!
Dear Ania, you look fantastic! What was the top you wore in the stand up part of the video. Looked like a white T. I loved it!
Thank you! Its from Reformation
I used to use the obagi nu derm system and am wondering if you recommend doing this peel with the ZO Night Repair product as being superior to using the nu derm system over a long period? My concerns are melasma but also now skin texture. Also, is the 1% retinol in the ZO product the same as 0.1% tretinoin that I used to use with Nuderm? Thank you for this video.
if i have rosacea and using WTR for 1.5 years, can i do a mild peel?
Hi doc I've a question about my protocol, I am using this Zo Skin products dailt: exfoliating cleanser, balancer toner-vitamin c serum and firming serum and of course Spf in morning time. My question is if I need to changes my cleanser(to gentle cleanser) and I've I need to start with Retino 0.25% at the beginning?? I am 43 years old white male, oily skin with no significant wrinkles in forehead or crown eyes. Thanks
Hi Dr. Ania! Would you recommend this peel for someone who is 28? I just started the alpharet overnight cream about three weeks ago and have been using it nightly my skin did a little bit of purging but it seems to be getting better now.
That's great. Alpharet is amazing! I would only do this peel to correct issues like pigmentation or fine lines. I would not do it on healthy skin.
can you use cilcifate cream 5 times a day instead of hydrating cream??
Hello.hope you are doing well.
I have bought RNR Zo because of some hyperpigmentations on my skin face but someone told me u are not qualified to use that! because ur skin is not ready for this strong retinol. It's been 4 months that I'm using Adapalene gel and my skin barrier is ok but I'm scared to use RNR! Would you please guide me about it?
Dr. Ania, how is this different from a peel using chemical exfoliation such as glycolic acid? And are the results different. Also what are the differences between this protocol and the skin restoration protocol that you did using retin a. I followed your journey with that. When would one choose one over the other? This is all so interesting happy new year 💕
Happy New Year. I will explain more in my new video. I am so grateful for all of these questions because I know what to address.
It is different from a glycolic peel because vitamin A does so much more than glycolic.
In general skin restoration goes deeper and lasts longer. It truly restores. This is a short term peel, to enhance results but much less effective than a full 5 month restoration.
Thank you for the quick explanation. Look forward to your next video addressing more in detail. About 12 years ago, my longtime dermatologist in an attempt to get my very resistant moderate acne under control had me use one percent adapalene, which was prescription at the time twice a day. which was against the norm that you’re told especially back then. I did it for six months and honestly that was probably the best that my skin ever was. Glad that he was willing to step outside the box and try something different to help my skin. He is retired now, but he was a wonderful dermatologist from the time I was 15 until 40. The subject is so interesting to me.
Thanks for sharing! I appreciate it. Dr. Obagi is also very much outside the box, so I can appreciate that @@danyellabrown5339
What is your recommendation for nightly use of radical night repair? Or is using wrinkle and texture better to use nightly
It depends on why you are using it. Yes you can use RNR nightly but I would not use it long term. WTR is a great long term option.
How bad is the red and peeling? Do I have to not show my face around work for days 3-5?
Sounds like an axing product.
x
Ups, I meant amazing
Can you use the radical night and wrinkle texture repair on daily basis long term?
theoretically yes. WTR is great for long term use especially for anti-aging.
I don't really see a benefit of using the RNR long term. I would use it for pulse therapy if trying to treat superficial epidermal issues
@@theocbeautymd What do you consider long term of RNR?
I have a basic question that is indirectly related to the product and because I value your opinion and am a fan of the products of zio, I am asking this question that I have asked a doctor in the past. The aim is to stimulate cell renewal, the doctor I confronted with the subject of cell renewal explained to me at the time that it is genetically determined how often cells in the body can renew themselves. I see a problem with that. What do I do if I now artificially stimulate cell renewal with the products, but my skin stops doing this at some point because genetics no longer allow it? Do you also see this as a problem?
This does not make sense to me. There may be variation between people in terms of how quickly the cells regenerate, but if stimulated they will regenerate. Think of a skin injury like a cut. The only time someone can cut themselves and the cut not heal is if they have a serious underlying condition. The skin will always heal and repair itself. This is why the comment doesn't make sense to me.
@@theocbeautymd Thank you so much for your opinion!! Highly appreciated.
This is another version of the skin health restoration program, right?
In a way, yes
Can you get the same results if you are using 1% prescription Retin-A ?
While results would be similar, the irritation would be much more severe. Retin A affects ALL layers of skin so it would create more dramatic changes but because it is so strong, I would never recommend using it so aggressively.
Do you have a discount code Dr. Ania?
I wish!
That makes two of us!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR, Dr. Ania. (My sister's name is Anya, & pronounced like yours.
Can we use perception Retin A 0.5 ot 1% to achieve the same results?
Yes but by a different mechanism. Long term use of a much lower amount.
@theocbeautymd Thank you! Please consider making a video about nasolabial folds treatment options:)
Go and buy a cheaper alternative with 1% retinol. It will do the same thing. Look at the ingredients!
Judging products by ingredients only can be misleading. Think grapes, raisins and wine - all same ingredients
2 products having the exact same ingredients is irrevelant. The way the product is formulated (think chemistry) determines if the product can penetrate & be effective.
