Maybe u travelled into the future cos they still exists
I think Nigerians will find the American palate too sweet. Even the Coke bottled in Nigeria are not as sweet as those in America. Our cereals also have waaaay less sugar than those in the USA, so I can understand why you will find it mild.
Glad you liked the strawberry candy though😊(we call them sweets not candies🙃😁)
Ah! I definitely think that American palate is too heavily seasoned...everything has a LOT of flavor in it! Thank you for watching!!
Yeah we call the sweets … but Americans call them candy … just like British call them sweet …
100% agree!
I’m Nigerian but have lived in America longer than in Nigeria and I still prefer the mild sweetness of our Nigerian snacks! American snacks are either too sweet, salty or sour eww. I spend way too much money buying snacks from the African store haha .
In the early 2000s I would always buy one speedy biscuit everyday from school to share with my dog speedy( named after the buscuit)
And spicy biscuit is also my favourite biscuit.
Spicy biscuit is so good! Haha I love that you named your dog after biscuits!
Lol. This is nice. It's just funny you guys had to open almost everything in a bowl and you actually read the instructions 😂
Hehe thank you!! 😊 we wanted to make sure we did the snacks justice!
The Jordan jersey is already a vibe😅👏🏻👏🏻
Hi @Twins Try
First time stopping by on this channel
I'm Nigerian 🇳🇬
And so overwhelmed that you guys are trying out our snacks 🥰
They were so delicious! Thank you for stopping by!
Wow!
I’m Nigerian and it is amazing watching this video. They are still in existence and I sell basically all of the sweets, drink and biscuits you guys tried out in my provision shop.
Weldone, you just gained a subscriber 😊
Thank you! If there’s anything else we must try let us know!
I love your Michael Jordan T-shirt!!!!
The crackers kinda remind me of what we have here called rich tea, super plain, I personally hate them 😂 but everyone else seems to love em
Yessss that’s a good comparison!
I love these Nigerian snacks!! I would definitely try the cookies!!!!!
One thing you should try is TOM TOM and cold water ….
The cream cracker has different types ( there’re ones with higher creaminess and dry ones for people who are trying to take in lesser oil food )
Digestive one of my most loved
Just found you guys channel ❤️❤️❤️🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Speedy is every child’s biscuit then … and spicy fishy biscuit are just 😌😌😌👌
Please try a few authentic Nigerian snacks like the plantin chips, chin- chin and kwuli- kwuli
Ok we will look for these! Thanks for the suggestions!!
Such beautiful twins, much love from Nigeria ❤👍🏿
Those Nigerian Snacks look so tasty to have, do keep up the fun work here in this great channel too! Stay safe, stay connected~
I love hollandia yoghurt, tnx for trying Nigerian snacks
I love how you are able to find snacks from Nigeria. looks like some of the snack have similarities to asian and american snacks.
Getting harder to source interesting snacks haha! Yes lots of similar snacks!!
Still watching today! Glad to see so many views on this too.
That's so amazing you were able to get these snacks from Nigeria! Loved learning about new things from your channel.
It’s getting harder to find unique snacks to try!
@@TwinsTry how about food from Israel or Jamaica 🇯🇲?
Coming soon: Jamaica! Israel we did a long time ago! :)
The fish biscuits was my jam.. I'm gonna have to find a way to get them
We found ours on Etsy!
Coasters are the best love them
Looks like something I'd want to try as well.
Very cool snacks in this one! I'm not familiar with any foods from Africa except Moroccan and Kenyan food. Very interesting history lesson on this biscuits! Keep pushing!
This is what I call review 😁not the biscuit is biscuiting or the yoghurt is giving what it’s suppose to give 🤦♀️😂
Hahah thank you!!!! This means so much!!!
😂😂. Someone finally said it
I winder if I'd like that yogurt drink!
The strawberry splash I’ve actually had before !! I believe your supposed to suck on it instead of biting though !
Hahaha I have trouble not biting my candies!
Strawberry splash looks the most appealing
It was p good!!
Every one likes Parle G…. The biscuit is sweet
I hate it. Too sweet
Yeah too sweet for me
Is like your friend wasn't ready to do the show. She was a bit quiet and reserved. Lacking excitement!
Hope that I get to see you girls at my Easter party at Chili's on April 27th!!!!!
You should try coconut chips, gala ,kulikuli...kokoro..i enjoyed this
Hi its nice to see you both try our snacks.i like how you compared almost every snack with something that looked or tasted similar to something you've had.what can you compare the yale spicy fish biscuits to in taste
It almost reminds me of this snack I had growing up - texturally it reminds me of chicken biscuits! Flavor wise it’s similar too but more fish than chicken, but I think flavor profile similar saltiness!
@TwinsTry oh wow,I'm gonna have to look for some chicken biscuits now 😋. Thanks for all you both do.i used to be almost nervous to try new foods but it's something I'm more willing to try these days, wishing you both success
Can't even imagine where you guys found these.. 😂.. Not seen for decades
😂😂😂 still alive :p
Fresh yo and Choco bliss biscuit... It's giving everything at once.
Btw I love the Bulls jersey 😭😭
Thanks! It’s the Jordan classics version!
Wowww nice one I am a Nigerian😍😍 this video is just giving me goosebumps 🤭🤭
Is there anything else we should try to find for a part 2?
@@TwinsTry our food like the Nigerian jellof rice🤭
@@TwinsTry yes something like Puff puff, egg rolls,German stones and fish rolls
Freshyo
Spicy biscuit 🤤😋
Hi. I'm Ghanaian and we also have Tom Tom Toffees here. I don't know how liquorice tastes like so I don't know what you are talking about. All I taste is mint in it. But if you should try any Ghanaian snacks, please go for Robb Toffees and Ahonka Ginger since you don't like the Tom Tom ones when it comes to Toffees that clear your sinuses.
Let me know what other snacks we should try from Ghana!
@@TwinsTryOk, so go for Nkatie burger (In/kah/ti [as in kick]/yeah boh [as in box]/gah, Malta [Mall/tah] guinness, perk biscuits, malt n milk biscuits, Tampico, chocomalt (which I don't like but you might), garimix (which I don't like either but you might), plantain chips, nkate (In/kah/ti) cake, baked doughnuts (they're much smaller than your usual doughnuts), chin chin chips and baked and fried chips (not fries). Enjoy 😊
You guys chose the mild flavored snacks
❤❤
Do you have recommendations for other Nigerian snacks we need to try? We are definitely open to a part 2!
@@TwinsTry parle g milk biscuit
Wafers chocolate biscuit
Pure bliss biscuit
Kelifa sweet
Snacks chocolate
Fresh yo drink
Hopefully you like this ones
Ohh wow whr can I find these digestive 😢 my childhood
I got them on Etsy!
not sure how representative this is but damn, i find it interesting that it's primarily crackers and cookies. not so much choclate and crisps like in most other countries i know.
Apparently these are older Nigerian snacks! I am looking into doing a part two but I don’t see chocolate and crisps as snacks in Nigeria!
Those snacks are from the 19s we don't sell them anymore in Nigeria 😂
Hahaha that’s so funny!! They weren’t expired yet at time of filming! Phew!
That’s not true because I just had one not too long
That’s not true because I just had one not too long
That's not true 😂
Wow where did y’all get these, although most are not sold here any more
We found them from a seller on Etsy!
Where una see Speedy?☺️
I am a Nigerian and cheese balls are really orange you guys got the fake cheese balls
Ahhh! We need to find the real deal!
No body told them to take cold water after tom tom?🙂
Omg is that how you’re supposed to do it??
Actually those Kemp's are not supposed to have any flavor it was made for old people or those who have high blood pressure, or lung disease
Thanks for that insight!! Really appreciate it!
@@TwinsTry no problem ❤️
😢I can't believe you eating our inflation products. These cheeseballs were ₦5 back in 2005 and also, you get a full pack with morr cheese and very bright orange. They are now ₦50-₦100 with 50% of qualiy and quantity removed. Same goes for every other snack. I can't even find malta sweets anymore. I think they folded up. The snacks were better in the year 1999.
The snacks back then are always better! Unfortunate but true!!
So what’s your point?
@@jimdorathy382 only the rich enjoy Nigeria. I can't buy snacks that offer less for more.
So true!
The cheese balls they are isn't even the one that we used to eat those days. The brand was niksnacks
Y would u cut the hollandia u can just drink by making a small hole
And it better chilled than when room temperature
We were in the living room and didn’t want to spill. Also we did chill it! Tasted great!
But those cheese balls😮they are not as orange as normal p.s I'm Nigerian
It's not the brand we used to eat growing up as in the early 2000's. Those ones were made by niksnacks
Lagos - /'Leigohs/
Thank you!!
Try Nigeria drinks as well...nice review overall ❤
What do you recommend?
@@TwinsTry hi , I’d recommend the Smoov Chapman , Swcheppes Zobo , Schweppes Chapman ( Chapman is a recurrent drink theme) , Vita Milk , Bullet ( if you are into energy drinks) , Maltina/Amstel Malt/Malta Guinness ( Vita Malt tends to be the most accessible type of Nigerian Malt in the US but you’d see any of the others . You can get Vita if you don’t see any of the others), Palmwine ( gotten from a palm tree & very vital in traditional ceremonies and marriages) , Kunu ( if you can see it ) , Tigernut drink ( if you can see it ), Hollandia Juice ( the strawberry flavour not the one you drank ) , Five Alive Berry Blast , Five Alive Pulpy ( Orange , lemon or mango flavours.), Lucozade Boost etc .
You’d work with this & I hope it’s helpful.
@@ugochi1952 bullet is not an energy drink..it’s alcoholic..very strong
@@ore8351 Bullet is an energy drink . The one in a blue can is sans alcohol whilst the one in a black can has alcohol in it . I mean Black Bullet is called an alcoholic energy drink .
I hope you’ve learnt something new today .
@@ugochi1952 There are other non alcoholic energy drinks you could have recommended like predator, super commando, fearless, climax and so on..some people don’t drink alcoholic drink.
#Birdup
As a Nigerian the fish snacks aren't very popular
Oooh, good to know! I need to try other popular snacks!
Una no chop chin chin or puff puff?

@@TwinsTry OMG you understand pidgin 🥰
You will not die in jesus amen
Jesus those cheese balls have no colour...remember eating eat it was so cheesy and orange...damn what happened
Wish it was like that on ours!
Tom Tom doesn't sound good. LOL not a fan of minty. I like mint cholate but not Tom Tom!
haha!
Same hahn
Even we Nigerians don’t eat it except when we have the flu or when you smoke and wants to clear the smell and taste of cigarette from your mouth
@@kimofabujaI'm Nigerian and I actually like it. Though I mostly take it when I have sore throat.
