Two great performances from the 70s line-up of the band. Filmed for the 'Supersonic' TV series (airdate January 8 1977), this is "Draggin' My Heels" and "Daddy Don't Mind"
This live version of Daddy Don’t Mind blows the studio version out of the water. What a performance! (Allan’s awkward hip dance at the beginning included) Kinda makes me sad that the version on the album lacks this sort of energy. But hey, this is a great upload at least!
The band went through a bit of a Disco style, unlike the Bee Gee's (Saturday Night Fever era) the whole thing was not illogical and they ought to have stayed true to their roots of rock/pop !
I remember this song and I thought it was a lame attempt at disco version. And I was also disappointed in The Hollies for doing this type of music. Because it was a far cry from what they started with. But no matter what The Hollies are still one of my favorite groups along with the Beatles and Badfinger just to mention a few
Another gem by these guys.
They seem to be having a great time. Return of the "Happy Hollies"!
Fantastic live performance! They were so multi talented
Oh wow ... remember watching this❤️ Fabulous,thankyou! Now that's a driving rythm section👌
OH MY GOODNESS, What groovy fun!!
Very nice Show! They were inspirated.

Who is the keyboard player.
Peter Wingfield was the touring keyboard player during this period…
This is a special TV ?
This is from the TV show Supersonic which ran in the UK
In the mid 1970s.
I think it was Marc Bolan's tv show
The Hollies and Oasis have two similaries:They`re both from Manchester, and they both have a song called Supersonic!😂😂😂😂
Thats really not Hollies style at all though its very good playing and singing like usual
Poor Bobby wearing that wig...ugh!
I've always enjoyed seeing what Bobby was wearing up top. The hats and caps in the 60s, or the wigs in the 70s. Either way, he's a great drummer.
This video should serve as a reminder to bands as to what they should not do to reinvent themselves. Awful.
