Yet again you've helped me pick out another addition to my pro audio gear. I just order my Flip 4. Tried it out and loved the sound. Cant wait to start using it. Mahalo for sharing!
Thank you SOOOOOO much Taetro for reminding me how useful my bluetooth speaker can be when I travel!! I could watch your videos all day man! at only 5 bucks a month to get your samples its a NO-BRAINER!!
Thanks for the video - great to see what other people are doing - keep up the good work
Dude, I've seen a few of your videos and every time I think "he's such a sweet, genuine person". Finally subscribed and looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Cheers!
SAME!!! HAHAHA GO TAETRO!!! LIKE WHERE DOES THIS GUY LIVE???? HAHAHA
Hey just wanted to thank you. Thanks to one of your first music mentor videos I decided to break the inertia and post my songs on soundcloud for the first time, even thinking (knowing) they still need much more polishing. So thanks for your advices, they're really appreciated!
Thank you so much for explaining portable music gear. It's really helpful! 🦄🦄🐔🌈
I really enjoyed this video 🙌🏽
This is great man, I just recently stumbled upon your channel and you really seem to hit a lot of good topics that I haven't really seen covered by other producers. Appreciate all you do!!
glad you found the channel Josh!!
That's awesome! My bag is a lot like yours just not as developed and I can't carry as much because I need to bring other things, but yeah really trying to work on my portable setup great to see yours!
Cool video dude I love pocket dump/ studio bugoutbag!
bro the sleeve your mom made is so nice
Love what you got in that music production travel backpack! I always want to buy all your stuff and start travelling after watching this type of videos (will do it) hahaha One thing! I would love to see how you process the audio files that you record on the Tascam, to make them alive, clean, without noise! I thing it would be helpful to see the process. Thank you, and have a nice day!
Love all your videos
Very informative video, thank you!
nICE bAG! About TO get 1. When I Decide to travel, probably get A few other things to go in the bag as well LOL.
Could you make a video on best practices for using those external hard drives? Would be incredibly helpful
I kind of want to get an Akai mpk mini, they look so cool. I have an Akai fire, it's but it's not helpful for when I need to do work outside of FL studio, but I love that thing too, even though it's not perfect.
I have the largest version of that JBL (I think its called The Xtreme 2) its an amzing speaker!!
Hi Taetro. I was really inspired by your mobile setup. It helped me figure out what I could ever carry with me when I have for example to drive my daughther to afternoon activities and make some music at a cafe while waiting. Searching for a good portable speaker I bought an Anker Soundcore Motion+ which in my opinion is somewhat better than the JBL of the same category. It's bigger than the Flip 4 but it has a really HUGE sound. If you happen to find one, do not think about it, just buy it evan as a backup for your JBL (in case you prefer a "branded" product). It has a mini jack input. So.... what do you say?
I love gear videos! We might need an update
Thank you, this vid is really helpful.
Imma get that Backpack. It looks awesome.
Also, I've got the Akai mpk, do you carry yours in a bag or in the backpack without protection?
Gorilla pod on mic stand weighed down by a stool - you just described every crazy twitch stream I've ever done.
yarn, zip ties, tripods, broom handles, bendy arms, kitchen chairs, plastic bag with a water bottle in it....
yea....
the struggle!
Dope!!! I need a mobile setup! Y'all think its old school to want to work on a laptop?
Looking foward to know if anything has changed in your bag this year 😍
it totally has but...I haven't left the house much so haven't needed a bag! but I could do an update
@@Taetro yes, please 🙌💕
Could you make a video comparing the two audio interfaces you use? Thanks
Okay.. looking to record an album while backpacking and climbing. Need an ultimate portable recording studio. So far i have a earthworks sr mic, smb7, motu/ua converter, Mackie Sr3,s, akg head phones, a dock and two power banks, mogami xlrs, power supplies etc. Any advice ? To lessen the load?

Hi! If you'd like to do music on the go, say at the park or on the beach, which power bank would you use? :) I have an oktatrack MKII, Arturia and Korg Volca to travel with.
What do you write about in your moleskin for music production other than like ideas? Like what kind of notes do you make
curioso que todo tu kit de viaje es lo que yo anhelo para mi home studio. pregunta: el roli se sincroniza bien o tiene mucha latencia?
That's a lot of stuff
What size macbook do u have? Will my 13” fit in that bag?
did you ever consider a small analog synth like a korg volca? I think you could like those, changed my life!
Brando Luis I have one. Love it!!
@@bboymac84 which volca do u use dude
@@physicalmedia1981 voca keys, bass, sample and FM
@@bboymac84 cool...in gonna buy Bass or drums cuz sounds are freakin siiiiick
what are some products you guys buy as a traveler musician?
Lmao next he's gonna pull out a full size piano
What kind of camera do you use?
Love the new ‘black on black’ mpk mini.
Do you carry it in the backpack without protection?
I do and I haven't had an issue but I could see something happening if I'm not too careful!
How much RAM does your MacBook have?
What mobile daw do you use?
Nice vidieo
How to connect akai mini mark 2 on android mobile and which app can bo used for free ?
I get so much latency with my airpods, can't make music with them.
He doesn't use them to make music, he uses them as a reference when he is mixing and mastering his tracks. So his tracks sound good on all types of speakers
1:43 when you know you've had too much CZcams...
is tthat macbook 13 or 15 inch?
You didn't mention about your laptop dude!!!
I think you linked to the wrong Tascam recorder. The one you linked (DR-05) doesn't have those rotatable microphones you mentioned. I think the one you have is this (DR-07MKII): www.amazon.com/TASCAM-DR-07MKII-Portable-Digital-Recorder/dp/B004TE5HBU/
whats the bag's link?
did you try Jbl flip 3 ? I was thinking of getting one since its cheaper. I will use for listening and also for music production.
I haven't but I assume the quality is good because I love my flip 4
@@Taetro thanks for your reply!
What mic desk stand is that? The one with the heavy base to which the boom arm is attached?
it's this one: amzn.to/2JDkT4Y
legit, you have your own studio, and im just making stuff on my tiny desk that i got for 20 bucks, with a tiny midi that i can't even use.
where ya think homeboy started though? Keep at it just play something and try not to get paralyzed :)
Nice
#musicbag
Has this changed over time or, do you still care just as much? Update??
I feel poor lmao
don’t! I get a lot of stuff for free and when I just started I didn’t have HALF of this stuff. I was also working a full time salaries job at the time of this video. You’re on your own journey. Don’t compare or you’ll feel sad!
1:42 1:46 me. 😂✨
lol i really want to learn how to be a music producer, but i dont know how

@Taetro . "Taetro" #Taetro +Taetro
For safety I would have 3 back ups. One with you and another at home.
good point!
Taetro I’ve been through craziness. Trust me! Triple back!!
Check out Roland Go mixer. Great for iPhone audio posting great direct sound
I'll check it out!
Taetro kool. It’s great I use it for all my videos. Super easy, just plug and play. No installation needed
I have spent three years backpacking around the world and i have learned that the fewer things you take the better. If I travel with all these things you show my life becomes miserable. To me this is too heavy, too many things. Too many cables to get tangled. I have learned that travel light and minimalistic is very important to make your trip enjoyable. I take only three things: 1.- my light computer Mac book with Ableton Live 2.- my smartphone Samsung and 3.- my small headphones, to be able to listen in planes or while walking in the streets. And with these three things, I can do an infinite amount of things already. Everything else stays at home.
A backpack full of money 💰
Oh, and music equipment can forget that part 🎶
Jesus Christ, do you make music with those fingers?
First 😂😅😁
iOS has the best music production apps but they took the headphone jack out. Makes me so angry lol Why do they hate their user base so much?
i can't afford half of this.
For the love of god don’t keep your backup drive in the same place as your work drive, especially not a bag.
Why
@@Drunk_Bishop cos when your bag gets nicked your life's work goes with it.
@@ProverbialMonkeys oh god I didn’t think about that!!!!!
