Just beautiful, visually and musically. The actor playing the stringed instrument cracked me up. He was doing his best to make us believe what he was doing with his little instrument was part of the amazing sound we were hearing. Still waiting on someone to explore Nubian palace intrigue on the big screen. This gives me hope that maybe one day someone will. If any of my ventures come to fruition the way I want, I'll pay Jeymes Samuel to do it myself 😉

Maybe it's wasn't from the Holy Spirit and sadly it just felt like a cash grab for black people that want to see ourselves portrayed in ways that we should be seen. But no you get a weird person and a controversial rapper producing you bound to be in hot water.

This movie received so much hate, I enjoyed it from start to finish. It’s alright to tell a story with a different spin.
It was also the first time I heard Nights over Egypt which is an absolute masterpiece. I consider myself an old school connoisseur and was mad I’ve never heard this song!
