How To Stir Your Gift

The phrase "stirring up your gift in Christ" comes from the Bible, specifically 2 Timothy 1:6, which reads, "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands." As Christians, we believe that God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities that we are called to use for His glory and for the benefit of others. We are to be good stewards of these gifts, cultivating them and using them to serve others and further God's Kingdom. Therefore, "stirring up your gift in Christ" means to actively and intentionally use your God-given gifts for the purpose of serving others and glorifying God. It means putting effort into developing your gifts and using them in meaningful ways that make a positive impact on the world around you.
