I feel like that will be the case with most people. I cringed when they showed that. Everything else about this property is amazing, but that bathtub in the bedroom? Makes me wonder what the developers were thinking.

Beautiful house. The only thing I would change is that bath within a stone's throw from the bed. I like my bath to be closed off and intimate.
For 2023, it’s hard to nail down specific predictions for the housing market is because it’s not yet clear how quickly or how much the Federal Reserve can bring down inflation and borrowing costs without tanking buyer demand for everything from homes to cars.
@Craig Daniels Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
@@maiadazz Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years, whether a bullish or down market, both makes for good profit, it all depends on where you’re looking.

Got to be honest, not the biggest fan of the whole "pave/concrete over the _entire_ front yard" thing that many property owners seem to be doing these days. But I totally get parking might be a nightmare without it, and it's not like it would take much to rip most of it up and replace it with grass and flowerbeds once more. I like the addition of the extension out the back, and the fact how modern it looks clashes with the older original building aesthetic, but in a tasteful way in my opinion. I agree with others though about the main bathroom - _first_ thing I'd do is hire someone to put up a dividing wall again so there's privacy in the bathroom, less steam and damp in the bedroom plus what if someone else wants to use the bath whilst you're getting dressed - or sleeping? Not practical at all.
The architects, and renovators, have done a wonderful job of modernising the house and still keeping the intrinsic gems of cornices, ceiling roses, and radiators etc. Then also setting off the external brickwork with enhancing coloured window frames and roof finishes for a clean look. Every thought has been put into the work with air con in the office space for summer cooling. The pristine look could only be achieved by artisan builders of the highest quality. Nothing shoddy here! A truly lovely house for some lucky people to make into a home. The viewing presentation was fun too.
£3.25 million for a bedroom with the open bathroom/bedroom layout…just don’t use the master toilet to do any number 2s lol…or flossing/shaving…anything people would do in a washroom…kills any relationships with zero mystery.
Thing is though this may worth that but not being sold for that. £10 for a raffle ticket and it could all be yours.

Rule #1 of renovating: Unless your tiler is god-level do not ask them to do white tile with a dark grout. It will show every single minor mistake in very stark detail, just like in this top floor bathroom. Hell, they even have broken tiles under/around the sink where it has been grouted with the same dark colour, emphasizing the issue. There's black grout in the silicon around the sink. Freeze at 8:38.
For 3millon I'd want the bond to be symmetrical too.
See I don’t know much about tiling but I do know that bathroom looked a bit shit I just wasn’t entirely sure why until I saw your comment. Well spotted
they are uneven tiles to be fair
@@Al-vw8qt Which just means it is a bad combination. I would _never_ choose a tile like this as they make cleaning a nightmare. Even so, there are inconsistencies in the lines where the tiles are lipped (even allowing for the design) causing thickening. When comparing to the lower floors it feels like they ran out of money for the loft conversion, and had to skimp.

Good location, great intrinsic dimensions to the house and a nice extension (although I don't really like having a washroom right next to the cooker).
Some features are odd. That "en-suite" with just a divider and that brutalist corner block hiding the wc is a matter of taste.

I love the tour! You guys are very good. I like the house, but not really enough for the money; although it is furnished and in London. I don’t mind the tub: a lot of houses use to have the tub in the bedroom. Agree about the comment on the tile: hide your mistakes/flaws!

LITERALLY MY DREAM HOME AH loved this design (apart from the open plan bathroom tbh), especially the kitchen area. Too bad we have to buy tickets then I would've joined the draw but it's considered gambling in my religion if u have to purchase anything to join. Whoever gets this house, ENJOY!!

I love luxury houses and usually draw inspiration from them - but not so much this one. The bathroom in the main bedroom just seems very strange and definitely not for me. Given the cost of this house - I don't think the interior justifies it.
The mix of the old and new makes this home very COZY . Great video by you both.

I love this house so much....except for that bathroom in the bedroom - it totally leaves me cold! Not even a door for the toilet?! That would have to be separated off for sure. Otherwise a fantastic house - keeping my fingers firmly crossed for this one🤞
I love so much about this house, I love the idea behind it. As a family house? No. The open plan bathroom in principle bedroom would get so annoying. The other thing about the annex is that there’s no shower, so not completely self contained. If I lived on my own or with a housemate, this would be great xx
It should be easy to add a shower there, but yes, not sure why it wasn't included to start with.
Exactly what I thought...nice house, but how much to put a wall in the main bedroom and to reduce the size of the annex kitchen and put in a shower? I also thought the mezzanine in the second bedroom was a bit strange.
@@sandra-bp6mk yeah the mezzanine is a bit weird and, it doesn’t seem like a space anyone would spend time in. The thing that bothers me the most is the open plan bathroom in the bedroom. Even in marriage/long term relationship, you need your space lol x
The open bathroom is a pretty bad design flaw. That toilet is open to the bedroom. Just right for romance lying in bed while your partner has a sht!

Lovely house. Why didn't you show the roof terrace? No wardrobes for bedrooms 2 and 4? If we win, first thing is a wall separating the bathroom from the master bedroom. It won't be cheap because of the cornice. It would have to be replicated to properly separate the rooms without lowering the value. I'm aware specialists now have tools to profile the existing cornices and make an exact match, but still I would have preferred a conventional separate bathroom to avoid noises, smells and damp.
I'm pretty sure the cornice is modern replica not original

Well it’s an easy divide to make the bathroom more private, but I went on holiday to a very nice hotel, in Minorca and the bath and loo were all open like like, the loo had a plain glass door, which people walking around the harbour could look straight in if I didn’t close the blinds.
Now, can you all please get out of my house?!! You know I don’t know how I feel about this house. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very me in so many ways and strangely I can get a spiritual sense of this house and it’s filled with positive energy, but I don’t know if it’s a house I could happily live in, something not gelling. Anyway, (and yes I have brought my raffles and do have intentions to buy more,) I just wish the eventual winner of this house much luck and happiness, I just hope they respect the home with much love and I’m very sure that the house will love them back, it’s a lovely home and ready for a reincarnation with a loving family

The 'fire divider' isn't Victorian: it's medieval. The Victorians would have shunned something so obviously impractical.
Did some digging i found the location. Its in finsbury park. Area looks good but I know the areas surrounding are not so good. Ngl if I wasn't from London I wouldn't. North London closest tubes are arsenal and crouch end. Not great areas specially at night. Massive crime rate

Well, I know for me, I would like to have a garage for my cars, but I sense to size of that full lot of the home may not be big enough to build one. And to change my front part of the home to have a yard. i really that some neighborhoods have lot size space and style arrangement different than others.

Our taxes go to cover the holes they create taking our money for their friends and failing private companies that again don't invest in themselves but give all the profits to shareholders. We pay taxes, they should go to public services for us, not to their pockets.

When I build a home, I'll make sure to include an ensuite to every bedroom. Everytime I see million dollar houses, Iam always confused why there are a couple of bedrooms without the bathroom. Iam sure it's not about the space or the cost. Any insights ?
100%! It's my biggest wish for my house is it had an en suite, even a small one, they're fabulous... and one that closes off, not an open one.
Who wants to clean all those bathrooms? Seriously, a bathroom is dead space for about 23 and a half hours a day. Why would you need so many?

@@kathydent2116 This has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Cleaning an additional bathroom wouldn't be such a pain I guess. Moreover, keeping everything clean and tidy is a personal thing, or else, a house this big too would eventually need frequent cleaning and maintenance for people who are not very good at it.
Disappointing. Negatives are only one main reception downstairs .Worst the bathroom in the bedroom lastly the 30/40ft garden and no garage for 3+ million. Positive a lovely kitchen diner separate utility and dressing room.
That's what I need - all the steam/moisture from bath tub and shower to end up on my sheets. Really cool !
