It's such a tragedy what Afghanistan's become. This anthem's tune was so hopeful for an egalitarian society in which women had the same rights as men and weren't oppressively ruled by religion. Now, Afghanistan struggles with poverty, violence, and terror with oppressive patriarchy.
I hope so much that Afghanistan will become a democratic republic or generally secular again. These mujahideen and taliban destroyed everything and will never forgive them for what they did to us

Because of the west calling it “invasion”, and making puppet terrorist groups to take over the region, thats what ruined Afghanistan. Even the 2001-2021 “democratic” afghanistan was horrible, and I think the west needs to apologize to everyone who had their lives ruined by these democratic bitches

Well Afghanistan was a Soviet ally since 1978 saur revolution. But their leader Nur Mohammad Taraki was killed by Hafizullah Amin who was allegedly supported USA. So Soviet invaded Afghanistan in 1979 and replaced him with soviet loyalist Babrak karmal from pdpa's parcham fraction. This invasion led US, Saudi, Pakistani and Iran backed decentralized Islamist militants to fight against Soviet and Afghan forces. Last socialist president Dr. Najibullah was publicly hanged in 1992 ending socialist regime
