Cutting a 6" cut off over a 48" pc or better is much more difficult. You need at least another person holding down the good pc. Here he is showing the cut off pc as a substantial size with the weight differential assists the bending or separation from the cut.

usually for fire safety they got a 20-90min safety rating before breaking
