That note Mitch hit was an A5! It's his highest recorded studio note ever!
For all that people complain about Mitch getting so much attention, a ton of his best songs don't have videos. This is definitely one of them. I can't recall offhand if you've done Take On Me, but that's another. He hits his lowest recorded note in that, as well as taking off into the clouds.

I agree that it would have been a great one to do a video for. They did a phenomenal job with it (as usual), I think Mitch in particular was amazing.
Another excellent cover of "Praying" is by Cimorelli. Very powerful song. Kesha's original was particularly impressive because she covered the wide range of the vocals herself.
The runs they do on this track are so beautiful, especially the last one when they are all in harmony. Pure bliss.
That bass was Matt my friend! I love this track and Mitch hitting that high note was insane in concert! Wait. I'm mixing this song up with "Sorry, Not Sorry"! They didn't sing this one on tour. Oops! You should react to that one too! It's on the same album and it's sassy! And your hair looks great! ♥
I've never heard this song before, it's beautifully done. The lyrics are so deep.
Watch the original, seriously. It's based on her experience with an abusive producer. Of course "he said, she said," but several credible music stars have verified that he is an absolutely horrible person. The original is gutting.
@@susanb4213 i wonder if this might be a reason that it wasnt a singel with a video. Since it's her story they might not have wanted to use it for too much promotional stuff but still loved and felt connected to the song and wanted to do it.

It's interesting how on some songs Scott's lisp can be heard just a little bit. Every once in awhile as I listen to him I hear just a little slip of a lisp, kind of charming. :) This would be a nice video one day. I have heard this song before. Oh I remember! On The Masked Singer by LeAnn Rimes, she was sensational.

I always have such a hard time trying to recommend Pentatonix songs for you, I think at this point, you should just speedrun all the PTX songs, but definitely react to their originals, their second original album, The Lucky Ones, is almost a year old, and it is seriously some of their best work
