This FG-42 clearly has a new and updated weapon model, which I'm really hoping they implement for the other models in game with the new major update. Something similar to how they updated the MG-42 model a while back. But ya the squad is great and the FG-42 is iconic

Quadrino, the last German paratrooper action that included jumping was in 1944, called Operation Stösser, during the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes. But it failed badly.

I feel like the FG w/ grenade launcher has less recoil that the normal FG 42 (not FG 42 II) in full auto mode. Makes it a very fun gun imo
Any gun with attachment (Bayonet, scope, grenade launcher) gets a hidden 5% recoil reduction. (as long as you don't remove the attachment)
6:02 If you switch your weapon for the weapon you're holding when it's the same gun, you'll keep your rocket launcher but get extra clips for your primary

Yeah I agree, 'aggressive' should actually be aggressive and 'passive' should be the current 'aggressive'.
I play 98% of normandy allies, but when I see a dropped fg42, I don't care what's around it, I just rush to pick it and, get some juicy and satisfying kills with it.
Actually the truly impressive gun from your footage is the MG42, such insanely low recoil, love it.

Hey Quadro, if you you look at the objective marker and click x on your keyboard, your squad will attack the objective and help you capture it.

They really need to fix both axis parachute squads to have the luftwaffe uniform under their Fallshcirmjäger bone bags instead of the normal Wehrmacht uniform.The Kiraly smg squad has already been fixed and looks great.

I always enjoy finding an FG42 and if I shoot someone who does have one I will tend to go after it
Or if the Americans had the Johnson lmg. I have not used it before, but from what I’ve seen of it it also has a 20 round mag. I don’t know about hit power or anything, just a question
They stopped after crete because of how high their losses were. German paratroopers landed with nothing but a pistol and a knife, all of their weapons were in a box that was dropped with them.

That's a common misconception, yeah, they were used extensively in the Eastern Front. They were just never the main focus again after Crete.

You are correct Quadro, Germany began scaling back its airborn operations after the botched invasion of Crete however paratroops were used on the eastern front in limited capacity. You don’t seen them air jumping late war because the luftwafa was all be destroyed after D day and the staling of Barbarossa.

35% vitality is ALWAYS worth it if you can get it. Best perk in the game by far.
@@HeyQuadroi'm getting vertical recoil, vitality, medpack speed, change weapon and aim speed. Just not sure for medpack because they only have one. Is it good? Thx for you vids man!
@@lapinwargame6147 That sounds like exactly what I would run. Even though you only get one medpack itll help a lot. Also, grabbing the Assault Package from the box will give a bunch of medkits.

The FG42 on the paratrooper is good, but it's not fun when you run out of bullets while approaching Americans
That's why you need to ultilize the Greenade launcher first, you only have 2 extra mags for FG42 as a paratrooper.
Just a question, but do you thing things would be a little bit more balance, as far as after you complete all campaign levels, if the German riflemen could equip the Stg-44 instead of the fg42? The Americans have the m2carbine, which feels more like a close range/medium range weapon which is what the stg is good at to. It would also be more historically accurate because German riflemen actually carried them as they are rifles, not sub machine guns.
I think in the current state of Enlisted, that would probably break the game.
In the new progression with BR based matchmaking, idk. Might be fine. I'm not sure Axis need the help though, the FG42 is supposed to be the counterpart to the M2 Carbine

They'll rush onto the objective. You don't even need to be with them.
You can also toggle AI behavior by holding y I believe

It’s ok. The reload animation for putting on and taking off rifle nade takes forever. And when you compare the axis para to the two Allie’s? There’s no comparison. USA with drum mag that you can shoot all day and the British one with insane amount of ammo too is so much better. Rifle nades do not make up for that.
I think they did the long nade animation to screw over axis
German para is not completely underdog compared to Allies para. They are excel in different playing style.
In order to ultilize maximum German para capability, you need to maintain distance to the enemy and use up all of the greenade launchers in your squad before rushing in. While with Allies para, you can simply drop directly onto the Cap zone and start Rambo mode with the OP 100 rounds machinegun.
Allies para is easier to use effectively, while German para requires a skilled player.
If you press the command button (x by default) while aiming at the point it will command the ai to the point, even from a good distance.
Yes I know but this isn't ideal because theres predetermined positions the AI like to sit at. They rush to those spots and most of the time just get absolutely obliterated. I'd like an actual "assault mode" where they will clear a house or be more aggressive for a short time. Like an actual timed ability

Battlepass is very high value. $10 and it pays for itself as long as you finish it (which is very easy to do).
@@HeyQuadro yeah I ended up buying it now lvl 7 definitely worth it for just the upgrades your able to do. The bolts aren’t really that bad they’re just bolts lol I can only imagine the feeds I’d be able to get with lmg or ar .

These squad games are just full of botkilling. If you try these stunts in lone fighters, you'll be dead all the time :D Starting with that Ju52 being shot down even before you jump :D

The irons on the regular FG42 are terrible. I don't really know why they're different as it's sopposed to be the same iteration, say the grenade launcher.
it needs at least 1 additional mag,2 mags are so stupid, nobody goes to battle with only 2 mags, in reality of game You even dont have engineer reliably and cannot put ammo pounch. The same enemy squad has 200 shells from start, not 60
I think Darkflow nerfed the FG42 a while ago by taking away 1 extra mag because their Soviet fanboys keep crying about FG42.
