Steamdeck is insane. Its still seems though like it's in beta, but the possibilities are out of this world. I'm so happy with mine and I also docked it to a 4k TV. There are some issues with scaling on the native display but I'm sure valve will sort that out
@@Vor_Tex_Sun Via FSR 1.0 I think it could be an alright match for small 1080p displays at least. 4K for anything other than video, emulation, or older/indie games is obviously punching above it's weight. I mean it's significantly faster than the switch and I guarantee millions of people pair those with 4K TVs for better or worse.
Wait, are you *actually* playing at 4k resolution upscaled via steam deck's FSR? I'm at this exact spot in elden ring on MY steam deck rn (first ever playthrough), and it looks like you're getting just about the same framerate as me *ON MY DECK.* I had *absolutely* no clue this was possible, as I find that even on my *1080p* monitor, FSR seemingly adds a *very* small amount of frame spikes. What *you're* doing blows me away. Also, what is the input resolution? Thanks for the great video!
Do you have your graphic ssettings listed somewhere? I tried using FSR on my deck and didn't like the result, but it seemed way worse than what I'm seeing in your video.
i bought a cheap dock and elden ring and sonic frontiers look and play awful. but have seen on youtube that they actually play fine. does a cheap dock result in this difference as far as you know or is something else up with my steam deck?
It for sure does I got a jsaux dock and I just played through sonic frontiers dlc included at 1920x1080 and had minimal issues like freezing from time to time but never that often
i have the same problem but thought it was cos its a cheap chinese dock lol. don't wanna buy another one to find its the same though. but this looks way better.
For a moment I thought you were going to accidentally roll off the bridge lol
I read your comment and I still thought he was gonna roll off the bridge
Nice

I think the newest update made the scaling on high resolutions better
@@kitz927 yeah. Will. Keep. Improving. All the best
Would u recommend it just did the tv aspect? I have a pc but u don’t actually like playing single player games on my desk
@@joseandresjulienbarriere8786 docked the deck is not cutting it. You can barely get away with 1080p. The deck is only good as a handheld

Damn that’s insane. Doesn’t look that far off from 30 fps on Xbox series X. I can’t wait until Q3
It’s me from the future, it was in fact, insane.
I docked mine to my TV but it looked hella low quality even with 1080 and high graphic settings.
Can't wait till I get my docking station in
good one

@@MatthiasNunes sorry that was way back when the steam deck got introduced. No idea what my settings were.
i cant see buying this for to play only to get < 60fps

looks great, but are the health bars of the enemies somehow blinking?
I guess it's the fsr upscaling of the very thin borders
How do I know it's steam deck u r using when I can't see it,, it just might be a series s
You know by believing the uploader. If you don't believe him it doesn't matter too much, does it?
Disappointed with the 720p when I connected the TV, but it looks much better with FSR.
