I would vote for magazine and classified ads as I am looking at a parish mag supported by ads.

Happy belated birthday Elaine and greetings from Malaysia. This was a fabulous episode and I have duly liked, commented and subscribed just like you had asked 🙂 I've learnt a lot from this episode and really look forward to the advanced one 😊
Perhaps one thing you could consider touching on in the advanced session is how to leave Affinity Publisher and go into Affinity Photo to edit images. What I mean by this Elaine is the detailed steps to start, do and apply the edit. But not so much about the edit itself...
For example... lets say we have an image in Publisher and we want to send it to Photo to apply say a filter...
Do we highlight the picture frame or the picture before clicking on the Photo persona icon in the top left corner of Publisher. Once we are done in Photo and we get out of the Photo persona... we will see a new entry for our filter in the layers list. But where is the best place to position this filter once we are back in Publisher? Perhaps we will be using this filter again. If you could show us how you then copy and apply it to other images would be nice too...
I hope I have made it clear what I'm trying to get you to show us... not about how to edit images per se as that could take forever ;)... but the workflow to do it. This episode with you dragging photos into shapes only serves to highlight just how important it is to drag and place layers into the proper placements...
I did watch your Working with images video which was fabulous! And thanks for that 🙂 Someone in the chat during the episode did mention that they thought that you were going to show how to edit images. And that's what I thought it meant too. It seems that "working with images" can mean different things to different people in different circumstances.... Oh so contextual 🙃
Anyway thanks again! Hope you and Mike have a great weekend 😊

One thing which I find mega confusing is/are all the options to export pdfs from Publisher. There are the "presets" and then all the more options that seem to make big differences. I'd appreciate a run through of what they do and which things should be set up for what purpose, and what things to always leave alone.
