Kevin is the most disrespectful player I've ever seen. Though he is ranked number 1 in the world but he has no qualities of being number 1 when it comes to sportsmanship.Sportsmanship doesn’t mean going easy on opponents, because most times, aggression is part of the game and players should have a healthy mindset of competition. He should learn to treat the opponents with more respect and good behavior. He still acts like a child. Tai tzu ying, Ratchanok intanon, Nozomi okuhara, Akane yamaguchi are some of the players I love to watch because of their attitude and behavior towards the sport and their opponents.

That are total 23 world tour titles in 3 years. Do you know any other pairs that have won these much tournaments before they reach 25 years? Fair enough they haven't won Olympic and World Championship yet... but at 26 years of age, still plenty of time to achieve that.

I used to like Kevin a lot, because he truly plays well but when that recognition started getting to him, he becomes so full of himself that i didn't wish him to win any games anymore and each time the pair is defeated, it makes me soooo happy for the winning pair.

I think people are right there’s a difference between frustration and disrespect. LD has shown frustration a number of times but he was never disrespectful. I do think players should keep they’re frustration in check though. Kevin on the other hand is just plain cheeky and cocky with it…..and can show signs of goading other players. This isn’t acceptable. Even more so now as they’re not so invincible….. being beaten now on a reasonably regular basis.

I have watch a match in back in 2019 in japan because I work there and there is this man who shouts "YAH" on every indonesian player smash and they are the only loudest person on the stadium. The Japanese audience wont react to them as they don't want to mind other peoples problem but I see them being bothered a lot by the rudeness and loudness of indonesians
Supporter's loudness has pros and cons, some players like it because gives them more energy, thats why some of them love to play in Istora

Sure, Kevin is an extremely good player but he doesn't represent how badminton should be played. As World #1, he has a duty to uphold the values of badminton such as sportsmanship and respect but instead he decides to be immature and cocky. He sets a bad example to the new generations of badminton players on how you should act on court.
