Sundar hai ghane bāl bhī hai
(She is beautiful, she even has thick tresses)
टेढ़ी-मेढ़ी क्यों चाल है?
Țeṛhī-meṛhī kyon chāl hai?
(But why does she walk funny?)
डिग्री न वो पास है
Ḑigrī na vo pās hai
(He doesn't have a degree)
पर, नौकरी उकी ख़ास है
Par, naukarī uskī kās hai
(But, he has a highly professional job)
खिड़की है, लड़की है

Ānkhon mein ainā hai
(She wears glasses)
नाम उसका सुनैना है
Nām uskā Sunainā hai
(But her name means good sighted one)
धीरे धीरे आती है
Dhīre dhīre ātī
(She comes slowly)
भाभी इमली क्यों खाती है?
Bhābhī imlī kyon khātī hai?
(Why is sister-in-law eating tamarind?)
