The 'gun store across from a liquor store' line is just because Tom's a Canadian. He doesn't know how gun purchases work because he can't buy a gun here. He's not a citizen.
First thing to know, the gun store owner had the option to deny a sale if he has bad vibes. Nobody is walking into a gun store with liquor on their breath and buying a gun. Period. Second, we have to pass a background check. There's a quick check system that's Federal and you can get passed fast. But many states have waiting periods to actually pick up the gun.
And with all that, the rules are different for long guns than with handguns.
You can't buy a gun as a gift for someone else. You can't buy a gun if you're a felon or if you have a domestic violence charge. As a matter of fact, if there's a domestic violence incidence and you already own guns, the police will take them.
There's an older video of a reporter who did an experiment to prove how easy it is to buy a gun. She failed to buy the gun. It was funny because this blew away her belief that it was easy.
We are highly restricted, but the process is manageable. I own several weapons myself. In some places it's so hard to navigate the system that it's almost impossible to buy one.

It's Blaire White, he's a transgender. As we used to say it's a chick with a stick. Blaire is cool. The prettiest man I ever saw. Blaire's politics are more conservative, Blaire also goes after trans groomers and pedophiles. Age 21 for alcohol, tobacco, pot (where legal) and in most states to get a permit for a hand gun, but 18 to join military, vote and some states this is gun license age. Yet they want 1st,2nd,3rd graders to dodge puberty and take opposite hormones, even cut off penises, mammary glans (Muslims cut clits off small girls) and become sterile for life. It's crazy and child abuse in my view. Notice depending on the object or objective the ages used. We know if a male kid that wants to transition takes puberty blockers their penis doesn't grow enough to to the inversion surgery they'll need later. Also the 40% trans suicide rates(before surgery) goes up to about 44% after surgery. Just because something can be done doesn't always mean it should be done.

Lol...chick with a stick... in my day we called them shemales or he-shes. I am not saying it was right... It was a different time. To be honest I think that the post surgery suicide rate is caused by unrealistic expectations. They expect the surgeries to somehow magically solve all their problems and when they get there and discover they still have all their previous problems plus new ones and it is more than they can cope with. Maybe the answer is teaching them to cope with their problems instead of looking at surgery as a solution.

We were at a bar and he was pointing out these he/she's and that's what I said they were, they all had something covering their Adams apple and had boobs. I didn't speak Spanish so that's the words I used to explain it. LOL
