Teoh’s painting videos are ALWAYS a pleasure to see on my feed. ☺️
Thank you Teoh , I love how easy you sketch out your drawing and the colors are perfect 👍
Thank you Teoh. Your still one of my favorite sketchers. From 🌴Florida 🌴
Thanks :-)
That verditer blue - never heard of it before! - gives a gorgeous luminescence to the shadows. Like a shadow that also has some bounce light. It's beautiful!
Genuine verditer is a historic pigment. I’ll try to dog up more information about it. I’ll let you know 🙂
That color is bomb. I love mine from holbein. Beautiful color
Thanks for sharing your interpretation of the #spshopfront challenge. Excellent as always, Teoh ! 😊
I occasionally participate in Alice Lim's Limited Palette Alphabet Dessert Challenge. She Livestreams it.
love that Verider Blue. I think I'll add that to my pallete. wonderful painting!
I love your style, and mmm those granulating colours are CRUNCHY!
Thanks for sharing this!! It’s very good~
I love this! Its loose but detailed still. I need to practice this, I get too stuck in the details and accuracy
Urban sketching is very free!
Nice sketch! I really like reduced color palettes.
Hi! I love your videos. So lite, calm and peaceful. What about your new Samsung TAB? Can you make more videos about digital drawing with brush description and technics? (I bought TAB 8+ and starting my ART journey after I've been inspired by you)
I'll post some soon. I haven't got much time to record many tutorials
Very nice!! ❤️❤️❤️
This was a nice tutorial , i like the challenge but im just not quite good enough to do the perspective and vanishing points yet, but im learning slowly thru the years, I like the paint colors how they blend well, thanks for bringing this to us,
If you know perspective, it can help you draw more accurately and faster, and spot mistakes. But you don't actually need to know perspective to draw such scenes.
@@teohyc thank you
Your videos are always inspirational, since I saw your review video on Steven Reddy's book, I fell in love with his process, so I made a picture of this scene with Reddy style. I published my work on facebook adding this #sgshopfrontchallenge tag.
Very nice 👌👌👌👌🙏🙏
This was so much fun to watch.
Question
What kind of paper are you using ?
I wanna go to that store
I want to go to Muthu’s Curry around the corner from it lol
Hey Teoh ! Good sketch ! What is the brand of your sketchbook ? The paper looks amazing !
The paper probably only looks good on camera. lol. In real life up close, it's not that good. It dulls the colours slightly. But I can't waste it because there are so many pages left.
@@teohyc oh i understand aha thanks a lot for your answer ! i follow since years now and its always a pleasure to see your videos !
What’s the name of the blues you used that had granulation ?
Some of the blue that have granulation are Ultramarine, F Ultramarine, Cobalt Blue, Cobalt Blue Deep. I usually use Ultramarine or Cobalt Blue Deep for granulation.
May i know what brush were you using? I might have missed it if you have mentioned it in this video
Silver Black Velvet
