Ohemgeeitzairi some don't like her/voice , because in almost 98% of their 5H songs , her voice covers and overshadows the other girls voices. I love Camilla , but they always put her voice on top of everyone else's and people kind of got tired of hearing her over the other amazing girls
Cee Jay even though she's the most unique singer in the group, she is overpowering them. I have nothing against Camila. But they other girls have amazing voices as well and they aren't able to showcase their voice properly if she is singing most parts of the songs.

Her voice is one of those where you either like it or you dont, But you can't deny that she delivers live. She has great breathcontrol during the dances, and she is always full of energy
Kasandra Howaniak I don't agree. I think that her "problem" is not her tone, but the fact that sometimes when she performes she goes extra and her voice becomes terrible. She often does that when she was in 5H, let's see for the future, but she absolutely needs to control her voice because she does "too much" and she ruins her performances. Too much energy is not a positive aspect if her voice goes out of control.
(besides that, I'm not a fan of her but I think that she could do so much better if she learns that sometimes "less is better")

It didn’t. But to be fair they never really tried to make their voices blend. True harmony means blending voices and neither the management or the girls really worked at sounding like one voice.

she has a unique voice maybe it is a lil nasally but she sounds amazing
brea Finally somebody says it yes she does sing nasally. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it and I kept thinking what is it about her voice I don’t really like. She uses her throat and nose to sing. I mean it’s very unique way of singing but sounds different to me. Now each member of fifth harmony had their own unique style. Normani has a very soft modern r&b sounding voice. Dinah had more stage presence to me. But every time I hear her sing all I could think of Beyoncé vocal sounding voice. She could do soft low and high runs with her voice. Lauren had the raspy r&b sounding voice. Ally reminds me of a vocalist who can do runs on a high pitch level but also sounds sweet and can vocally change whenever she can. Plus she’s a high pitch powerhouse singer. Kind of like Mariah Carey and Ariana grande. I like all the girls but Camilla (please don’t judge me if I spell the name wrong typing on a iPhone lol) always sounded weak vocal wise to me. She can sing and carry harmony and tune. It’s just she will always sound auto tone because her singing nasally allows for that type of sound. One thing people have to understand everybody sings differently. It’s not just about sound it’s also dialect as well. She sounds good but in order for her to reach whistle Notes or higher pitch she has got to sing from her throat not nose and throat. If you listen to her new album I’m sure her sound stays in the keys she’s comfortable with. But if she wanted a higher range she can’t keep singing nose and throat. Just throat. Thank you for pointing that out she is singing but just from her throat and nose and it’s really difficult to do lol. I’ve try can’t do it. Always been taught to sing from diaphragm and throat and not nose and throat. She pushes on diaphragm but when the sound comes out she using her nose as well. Oh and another thing when she sings her notes are cracky. They wouldn’t be so cracky if she properly sing from the diaphragm. There’s too much air flowing through. It’s a technique a lot of singers use but I bet by the end of the day when she’s done singing she’s hoarse.

@tayler jones: singers can use nasal airflow for switching smoothly to head voice and also use it during a mixed voice, which allows some singers to hit higher notes than with just a throaty/chesty/belty voice. nasal airflow isn't necessarily a bad thing, its how you use it.
amberisrad your absolutely right as well. It’s just in my opinion I should of explain that I personally can’t sing like that never could. For me her voice doesn’t lend itself to do whistle notes. I mean she’s just like every other pop singer out there. In fact twenty years from now if she don’t establish herself people would be like Camilla who? Until you look her up. In fact one of her new songs that played (not Havana ) on the radio and at first i thought i was like who’s singing that? I thought it was Selena Gomez at first but then I it took me three mins to figure out oh it’s Camilla. (Sorry if I’m spelling her name wrong my typing is fast) but yeah I can’t see her voice lending itself to the next generation and next generation. However people like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Elton John these artists had to work hard to establish their sound and stage presence. Camila has been in a pop group and then branch out solo. She’s just starting. So basically she’s got a while to develop her sound and image. Right now she’s at the baby steps. It’s really up to society if their gonna go for her or not. Because right now she’s testing the waters and so far she’s doing good. However she will never be a Whitney Houston she will never be an Ariana Grande. Every singer has something different and she to me in my opinion has a long way to go.
