I love playing steve and I feel like alot of people think he's a weak character because they compare him to top characters, steve as a character is fine, it's the broken moves and mechanics of certain characters that need to be fixed in my opinion
honestly i’ve been watching jin gameplay from other high ranked jin players. But there’s something about devilster that when he plays jin there’s this weird tempo on his combos. devilster isn’t the most aggressive jin player i’ve seen so far but the tempo i mentioned makes him more dangerous than all of the jins i’ve seen
@@olah547 yeah, or I could just play a top tier, Steve is not who you want to use to climb low ranks as a beginner, as an intermediate or skilled player he definitely will get you far if you can pick up patterns fast and know good spacing and timing
Steve Spam RAGE Art... If Rage Arts, Heat System and Armor be out of this game... This players still will be on the top? Some times I think this game has been made for bad players and spamers...
I agree bad players have a way easier time in this game than 7, if you lose to a spammer that's entirely on you unless it something that's a forced 50/50 like lars entry or something that is very hard to counter like being forced to sidestep duck azu running 3+2. i don't like heat or rage arts but you're acting like critical arts and rage drives weren't already a thing in 7 so of course they'd keep it in 8 in a way, i don't think we need heat and rage at all though. and steve is literally one of the worst and hardest characters to effectively use in the game, i main him and the amount of effort that's needed is kind of insane if you fight someone who even has the slightest fundamentals, or just runs a top tier. But I feel like players who use this system would still be on top, do you really think steve of all characters would be hurt the most by losing heat and rage? Jun is a souls boss in heat and I rarely ever have an instance where I would use a rage art, even in combos at times because he has better setups into a frame trap in heat. Tekken 8 definitely needs tweaks but spammers and bad players would never be on top in this game, you either don't know the effective punish against characters bs or you refuse to bait out rage arts, also i do dislike armor in the game for certain characters so I agree with you there, even though on the other hand I think some moves need armor and others don't.
