played this on repeat when my mam died, thank you guys, it really helped
Not often does a new band so quickly strike such a resonate chord deep within my soul in which I have an immediate connection to in such a profound way, but you guys are among the very few who've cultivated such a reaction from deep inside my core that can only be quantified through an indescribable feeling of emotions. & not only through this song ("Loving Lost & Broken"), but a handful of others, such as "Only Human", "Blind, Deaf, & Dumb", & "You Are the Sun" (to name just a few). It's beyond evident that y'all pour every ounce of each individual's passion, soul, & influences from every member's interpretation of their own human experience in this world. Keep up the unplugged versions of your music, for in my opinion that is where you guys shine the brightest & it showcases the gravity & caliber of professional musicianship that is Hurricane Love in its purest form! To all who have contributed to this band & its music I thank you from the bottom of my heart, head, & soul, for the music y'all have created kept me alive during a particularly difficult dark period in my recent history, & your music helped bandage & heal those wounds that cut me so deeply that I never imagined I would crawl out of the hole I'd found myself in. Music is one of the best healing ointments, & bandaids & disinfectants cannot reach the wounds that hold no physical form, & that is where Hurricane Love comes in to right the wrongs of a broken heart, ego, confidence, psyche, or anything else that comprises the human experience that holds no physical space in reality. You will all have my unconditional love & support from now until I can no longer hold onto the physical form that binds me to this plane of existence. "One Love", as some people say. For me, I say "Hurricane Love" as a synonym to the sentiment/turn of phrase.
P.S. I have an undeniable crush with both ladies in this group.... & I've got it baaaaad
