- For Pan That Palette (created by Amber F @beudmama) this year I'm combining the Fun Size theme (the genius idea of Jackie Lootens) with the Better Together project (created by Paula @abeautygurumademedoit), all of which are Pantastic Ladies Collabs.

I also crave variety, so I set more reasonable goals (for me 😂) for my PTPs these days that allow more room to indulge my love of variety. I set a goal to just hit pan in one shade from each palette I’m working on each month. I pick the shade at the beginning of the month in each palette, mention it in my update, then I use the rest of my collection to try to make as many fun looks with that shade as I can as I use it until I see pan. Once I hit pan, I move onto the next shade I think I might want to set as my goal for next month.
I’ve found some of my favorite eyeshadows this way!
And by not panning them completely, I learned to love them and I get to enjoy using them until such time as I naturally pan them from enjoying them so much.
I had to move beyond the ‘panning can only mean using up completely’ mentality to be able to consciously and intentionally work on my collection while also *enjoying* my collection.

I love this idea!! It's a great way to get use without actually forcing a pan sometimes!
I knew 100% when I came into this that “using up completely” was NOT on the table. I just don’t have the attention span for that!!! 😅 I’m going to aim for hitting pan on as many of these as I can by the end of the year, without turning it into a chore. I love makeup so much, I don’t want to ruin that for myself by pushing too hard.

Pretty palettes!! You are doing great!! I agree with you.. had to focus on 1 or 2 palettes when we have so many pretty ones to play with !! Gahhhh!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been trying to NOT look at the shelf where I keep all my palettes, because every time I do, I think.. ooh! Pretty Grunge! Norvina! Avocado Toast!! 😂😂😂
I have that Tarte-ist palette. I remember buying it before going to a wedding several years ago.
Now I'm motivated to use some of the shades again while they still have their quality.

Huge challenge you're taking on with all the other projects, too, but I hope you're able to hit some pans in them or atleast get alot of use out of them by end of year!
I’m pretty confident I’ll be able to hit pan on at least a couple shades from each palette, so at this point, anything more than that is just cake 🎂
