The M4A1 carbine is a fully automatic variant of the basic M4 carbine intended for special operations use. The M4A1 was introduced in May 1991 and was in service in 1994. The M4A1 was the first M4 model with the removable carry handle. The M4A1 has a "S-1-F" (safe/semi-automatic/fully automatic) trigger group, while the M4 has a "S-1-3" (safe/semi-automatic/3-round burst) trigger group. The M4A1 is used by almost all U.S special operation units including, but not limited to, Marine Force Recon, Army Rangers, Army Special Forces, Navy SEALs, Air Force Pararescue and Air Force Combat Control Teams. It has a maximum effective range of 500 to 600 meters (550-660 yd).[7] The fully automatic trigger gives a more consistent trigger pull, which leads to better accuracy. According to Mark A. Westrom, owner of ArmaLite, Inc., automatic fire is better for clearing rooms than burst fire.
The M4A1 uses a heavier barrel than the standard M4, as the regular M4 barrel, which can fire 6,000 rounds before requiring a replacement,was not sufficient for the higher consumption of ammunition by SOCOM operators. The redesigned barrel has an increased diameter in the area between the receiver and front sight.
Insurgency Sandstorm really does need a forest map like this, it would really add a whole new terrifying experience.

The ISMC mod should’ve literally been an actual update for Insurgency, it shouldn’t even be a mod for the game, it’s supposed to BE the game. hats off to these dedicated modders and developers.
After the team broke the performance of the game last few updates ago? This would fry anyones PC.

This is literally how they need to make it look graphic wise clean and more immersive gameplay with wilderness type maps and the AI need to not just know where you are but pinpoint you out by detection and gun sounds

I've watched a lot of these walkthroughs and people playing, and this one has the best everything. Shadows, sounds, the smoke coming off of the barrel, I've never seen or walked through a tree. Just beautiful.

Love this NO HUD style of play. You have to rely solely on your wit, hearing, tactical positioning, and awareness. No bullshit slide canceling, no sprint jumping around corners to see who has the fastest button input speed, it feels much more at home.

Sorry, but someone who play has played this game alot, the reason this game suffers is purely because of its maneuverability, This game makes you feel heavy and unable to make any serious movement. I agree that sliding and jumping around like COD is idiotic and just brainless but unforunately this game restricts you way to much. Its just not fun to play for a long period of time.

Best 5.56 gun in this mod is the HK416 14.5. Also, try the Tangodown Stubby grip over the Zenitco, it has the same vertical recoil control but better horizontal. Zenitco + Perst lasers I reserve for AK's.
The "mind-blowing" part is where the enemy screams before they shoot and have their mind blown to pieces.

Honestly this game is amazing with the sounds and stuff one of the most realistic gun sound i jave ever heard and played but the player base is just to low

Beautiful game. Only thing I can think of is having the players characters automatically communicate more on the battlefield and make tactical call outs and assessments on the situation

No ambient sounds like wind and nature? Otherwise, looks like a phenomenal game
They could do with a little of that, but the Sequoia forest often does sound quite muted. Maybe something to do with large spaces between trees, and relatively few birds down at the lower levels. The Sequoias often sound a little bit like a calm snowfall, since there's not a lot of nearby surfaces to reflect sounds, yet the large trees and terrain mute far away sounds and wind.

Your speaking 3rd person, this is 1st and in actual combat you have E plugs or muffs. You can hear just about that with the E plugs but with muffs or regular plugs you wont hear anything but your rifle barely. Its highly realistic and as FPS or better VR.

Unfortunately the devs went straight down the toilet with the direction the game took after the major part of the devs left the company.
The game went more and more from a realistic setting to a COD/Fortnite cosmetic and gameplay experience.
ISMC is one of the last good things that is keeping the game "alive".

If it weren't for the fact I have almost 1000 hours in Insurgency 2014, I would probably like Sandstorm more. Sitting at just over 300 hours in Sandstorm, I can't help but be frustrated at all the things that were great about Insurgency 2014 that they didn't care to keep or build off of. Instead it's like they took the same prompt but created an entirely different game to achieve it. It's like if you described Counterstrike to 2 different dev teams, and they gave you 2 completely different products that still had the same basic premise and concepts. Sandstorm isn't a modernized version of 2014. Not even a successor really.. We'll just... never get a modernized INS 2014.

@@dolguldur1833 The entire game feels kinda different and they went with a different directive than just “realistic tactical shooter”.
INS 2k14 rocked. Not the most realistic, but very immersive and gritty. Ambush/VIP or Firefight were really great modes I loved playing. The other modes were OK at best (except for Push, that's just casual stuff...).
Tried the newest INS and while it wasn't bad by any means, I simply couldn't justify spending the money on it when I preferred the older version. There are also some weird design choices in Sandstorm, especially the hit reg jumping from hit scan to ballistics.
Sandstorm isn't a direct successor to INS 2k14, it's kind of like when you compare the original mod to INS 2k14; they're a different take of the same game (no, not a clone).
@@NoNamer123456789 Ins 2014 used a modified Source engine. Sandstorm is on UE4. The gameplay and visuals are vastly different, and I think a lot of folks got a bad taste after having played the original for so long.

Hey.. how can i find that map? Ive been waiting this game to have a map that would be in the Woods, im Not biggest fan of those tight spaces and tiny rooms, would love More forest maps on insurgency. Havent seen this kind of an map in the game. Please tell me if there is or if i can get one and i start playing it again. Maybe i should start either way, i still like this very much

If the game looked like this on console, and had these mods, I'd play it all the time. Unfortunately the console version of this game seems to be NOWHERE CLOSE to this. It makes me sad. Why can't they just keep them all updated with maps, game modes, weapons, etc to where is the same game no matter what console/pc you have? I have series x and PS5. The game sucks compared to this one video.
