I was 16, got my first set of decks, first vinyl I bought was enough is enough by y tribe from Virgin shop in the glades in Bromley on a break in gcse exams. Big apple records, upfront 99.3 fm, back of the bus with my Walkman with tapes from the radio. Atlantis and blue school kid (blue orchid nightclub). Good times man

Blast from the past. I remember when every single one of these tunes dropped. I remember listening to the pirate stations every night, writing down as many names as I could and then rushing out the next day to grab the vinyl before the local shops sold out. The 90's were banging, there won't ever be another time like that again.

Was 100% lucky to be an Australian dropped in on London during this era. Gas Club, Legends Old Burlington St every weekend. Best time of my whole life. Still remember where I was standing in Legends when Luck & Neat gave me a shout out because I was leaving (for good) to go back to Aus. the next day. Epic days

Between 1993 and 97 I attended Southampton University. There I met Mark Hill, founder member of the Artful Dodger and producer of Craig David. I even visited his recording studio, actually I lent him my spanish guitar and never got it back!

As a raver from 1989 I hated this stuff when it was out. But 20 years later I like it. Sorry Im late.
Acid House and Hardcore was epic!! Just a little fun fact the Godfather of UK Garage, Grant Nelson was in fact a Hardcore producer called Wishdokta. There was a crossover with sounds. Nothing beats the era of Slipmat and Ratpack. It was an epic era. Raves like United Dance and Best of British put all these kind of music in different rooms at the time and it worked.

My favourite room at Bagleys was definitely the small one downstairs that would usually have the UKG in, I'm mainly a D&B head but love all old skool really.

We UK mum's have it still going on to these classic 90's tunes,my kids son 30 and daughter 28 are like" mum can't believe this was you".we went to Leeds carnival last year 2019& deneo played party hard on the Sunday.1st time my kids saw me as someone other than there mum 😆
