To this day, my favourite ever excuse was in 9th grade Computing Studies, two girls walked into class an hour late, one of them said she needed to blow her nose, the other said she was helping her. At the time, I was shocked to see the teacher barely bat an eyelash in response, but now as an an adult I realise she probably was dealing with a period and the teacher read between the lines. Was still hilarious at the time.

The boy searched and found Jack years later and he didn't even know of his existence. In later episodes, Jack's son is a married man with his own son technically making him a grandfather.
