a tip for people waiting on best buy orders, at one point i was able to "switch to pick up" picked a store and then cancel my order. I did this cause i wanted to go get the 2 TB one from microcenter
what the rail (or slide) of the controller and rail on main body made from ?, im fear that plastic will be very fragile... this is a big and heavy device
People ordering 2 and returning whatever one arrives later is not helping the shipping delays
I ordered one and it’s coming a week later , that’s Best Buy’s fault .

I am not close to Micro Center in Tustin, so I contacted Micro center through online chat and was informed that they would not build a 2 tb Legion Go and send it to me. I was informed even if I came into the shop in Tustin, they could not guarantee that they would build it.

That's interesting because I contacted the Micro Center in Tustin (on-line chat) yesterday, and they told me that if I came in the store and bought a 512gb, they would upgrade it to a 2TB because they were advertising it in store.
I Guess every Micro Center is not built equally.. They should be capable to do this at the PC Bar. Maybe they don't have the tech staff to get it done. Mine was bought pre-built this way, I didn't make a special order in my case

I bought a 1TB version from Best Buy. I'm currently waiting for it to be delivered. I didn't know about Micro Center having 2TB versions available. I would prefer the 2TB. Do you think it's worth upgrading to 2TB or should I just keep the 1TB and buy a micro SD card?
I think adding an external SD Card should be fine. I only bought it because it was presented, but otherwise I was going to add an external sd. BUt upgrading to 2TB NVME would be awesome if you're willing to do it yourself too
@@TopShelfHuntersgreat answer dude 👍. I had no idea there was a 2TB VERSION until i saw Fan The Deck's video saying that Micro Center had 2tb models exclusively. So I went there instead of Best Buy. Best Buy actually Dropped the ball with the Legion Go. They didn't even know if units were going to be purchasable in store. I still think the Rog is better though.
@@redcrimson1028 thanks man. I can actually appreciate the Allys smaller size now that I have the go. I know it sounds crazy. Also legion space has a long way to go especially when compared to the ROG 's equivalent.

Lenovo can improve the Go in thr same amount of time. I just hate the battery life and thr frying of the micro sd on the rog.

They should, they are including a 2tb ssd that would be $150-$200 but charging only $50 to install it and redo windows and all its drivers
The ROG Ally is a baby compared to the Legion Go and you STILL said similar size 😂
It’s in its wheelhouse of size . I measured it for that reason.

do you like a bigger screen? get the legion go. If you don’t care get the ally to play all your games and download play nite. If you want something real cheap get a refurbished steam deck for $300 ;)

Dude.. What kind of glasses are you even wearing.. The steam deck is not even close to being similar size to the legion go.. The Legion Go is massive and way way bigger than the steam deck. You have to be truly honest to not only yourself but to the viewers as well.. The Legion Go easily outtsizes the Steam Deck.
I measured it! 😂 but also it’s my opinion. In my eyes the steam deck didn’t seem THAT MUCH smaller compared. Maybe to the ROG ally, yes, but not the steam deck. Sorry if I offended you, truly my opinion. 💯
