In this video I've ten snowboard butter tricks to learn first on your snowboard.
Im so ready to learn some butters
But are you reallllllllly. Ready?
Same bro
I hope your butt is ready too lol
u say that now…
I was watching the video wile on the lift where you and your buddy are demoing a bunch of butter tricks. I got more progression out of my riding then I have in the last 10 years of riding. Thanks for the break downs!
Great list and explanations! Sadly I've never had a soft board so a lot of these don't look as good, but still fun to mess around with!
So nice that you give the extra advice on WHERE to do the trick, like doing the nose press uphill to get it better. Love the video's!
I was slaying most of these tricks before I knew they had names! Really enjoying learning butters, they feel so simple but steezy
yo me too, i just been casually snowboarding and with all the dumb stuff i try doing i didn’t realize that they’re this kinda tricks and stuff
back at it again with those snowboarding vans!!!!! Nice tutorial btw thanks for sharing
These are SWEET looking Tricks!!!
Amazing!
I always go over the handlebars on the nose roll hahaha, still super fun to mess with and the boys think its hilarious
Cool. Need to start working on buttering
Already do the tail press while trying to ride normally 😂
Hi I would like to know the demo shown by you now need a softer board or what is the suitable board to learn this skill for a beginner?
Good job thank you
Agreed! Thanks Kev
I want to learn snowboarding from you!
is this possible with a board with 5 stiffness and med flex or what do i need
Exotic butters
Am I crazy or are the first nose and tail presses shown riding in switch?
I really want to learn to ride switch better. Would it make sense to set up the board goofy and ride it like intended for a whole day, so it comes more natural or just do it with the setting I'm used to ride? I'm normally riding regular and switch back to normal, since it feels just so much beeing able to ride faster and safer.
I personally would put some angle in the rear binding like +15 front or whatever you like and mirror it in the rear -15 -10 keeping your feet at the same angle will help you focus on the leg work and take at least one run every day you ride and ride it switch just get the traversing down so you feel confident on edge and putting your weight on your down hill foot riding you’ll get to a point where you realize the muscle memory best of luck my friend
For me what worked was just keep the standard +15 deg mirrored stance for both legs that way you don't need to adjust the setup when you wanna switch between regular and switch. And yes learning to ride switch absolutely sucks cuz it feels like you're learning from scratch again. But you just need to resist the temptation to go back to riding regular cuz it feels more comfortable. Just commit to riding switch every other run and you'll get better in no time. Just keep in mind that you're essentially relearning how to snowboard from scratch so it's gonna be very painful and awkward for the first several runs.
In 1st trick, I can do that but it sometimes my board slide… how do you do that it don’t do it to you
Where did yall film this?
do you like butters on the K2 Afterblack Snowboard ?
Are you riding +15 -15?
Kevi i try to make it to the premiere on time but im wlways in school can you uplaod at 3:23
Yeww
I tried to do the 360 nose roll but I accidentally did the other way around. So I guess a frontside 360 nose roll?
Figure out how to do a nose roll 360 completely on accident, spent the rest of the day eating shit trying to recreate it, managed to land it 4 more times.
What board are you riding looks sick!
In this video the Nidecker Sensor
wow that board is so flexible, mine feels like a titanium bar... I can't even get my nose off the snow while standing still and leaning thowards the butt
Time to get a new board lol
Guys what is stiffness of this board? 4?
Anyone ever ride the Burton Process? I also have a hometown hero but I wanted something a little more playful but I still like to rip fast and lay into carves and venture off into trees. I’m worried the process won’t be able to handle that. Thoughts?
I’m asking cause I have the process but have yet to ride it!
been riding the process for a couple of years now and i think its safe to youll be happy with your purchase. a nice true twin board thats still got enough backbone for ripping but soft enough to get out some decent presses. im sure youll love it! a Burton classic :)
@@Siikvision that’s exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for the reply man, I’m excited to take it out
What is buttering?

I want to learn some mantequilla trick sir
What’s that?

everyone is talking about starting with tail press but no one explains how to control the board while doing it so it doesn't start to turn..
keeping your weight centered over the tail will help. if you start drifting, slowly shift your weight to the opposite edge until you straighten back out :) happy shreddin'
Most important is to keep your shoulders parallel with the with the board. People always open their shoulders towards the direction they are moving and it causes them to turn. Stay stacked and only have your head facing forward. Also, going directly down the fall line helps to stay in one direction. There is not a ton of control while only being on the tail.
Just remember tha 3bt almost never catches compared to a normal nose and tail
Im still a noob but the only trick i know is the butter spins i find it so easy, i learned it inna day jus messing around lmaooo
Wheres the press?
I did a tripod by accident xd started falling , but my hands down and kept sliding.. couldn't stop. but not i know i was just doing a trick :)
My new board is so fast I butter for 1 second and then I need to stop to control my speed XD
My Capita is a 4 flex and is the most stiffest board i've ever used lol (yes ive broken it in, btw)
Which Capita board?

How do you handle not to catch an edge on landing? Especially on tricks. I think that's my most frustrating thing while learning tricks.
@C C Thanks, that's good point. It looks like he's using rocker snowboard. Theoretically, balancing your upper and lower body on landing could help not to catch an edge, but my body won't work like that way 😂
I would detune, round off all the edge at the nose and tail area. It will be lot less catchy
Don’t listen to either of these fools. People been buttering and spinning for decades before 3BT was a thing and detuned edges are primarily for jibbing kinks. Not catching edges is about edge control and air/body awareness, not specialized gear or detuned edges. My recommendation is to learn the rotations you’re trying on flat snow so you know exactly where your edges need to be at any point in the rotation to avoid the dreaded edge catch. Then take it to small jumps, theoretically if you’re doing it right you can land 270/450/630 and skid the rest of the rotation without a hospital bill because your amplitude is small and your edges are up in the right position. Gradually add amplitude as you gain confidence. You don’t need as much air as you think to get even 5’s and 7’s around. Good luck!

and where is the "best board for butter tricks" ? I don't think k2 afterblack is, nor k2excavator. they are very stiff for that.
How much money do you make gross?
???
I haven’t boarded for years but I’m looking to make a comeback 😮
I like snowboarding. I hate the dumb lingo. I'll keep the butter on my toast and do tricks on my snowboard. Thanks.😂
Tricks are good but the order is wrong
