Alright so in this video I made some custom minecraft bosses and got a real mod developer to react to/review my designs. I ended up making a Piglin/Minotaur hybrid and a sculk allay. they turned out really good! The mrbeast playbutton is also officially underway

I actually kind of agree with Dan’s premise that pigs are scary. Like, the fear of pigs didn’t actually click for me until I read _A Long Way Gone._ Specifically, the scene where Ishmael had to climb up a tree to escape some warthogs, only for them to attempt chipping away at the base of the tree for hours in an attempt to knock it over and get to him.

I can imagine the boss Allay coming from the ceiling like a bat. That would be terrifying as you trip the sculk sensor a third time, look around on the ground for a warden, only to realize you have woken up a demon.

Allay boss would probably be the result of letting an empty inventory Allay, wander the deep dark for a few days, giving you plenty of time to scrape the skulk off using an axe like with copper, and giving it a cookie or something to avoid it. Maybe as it gets corrupted it will move slower and stay closer to the ground so you can easily reach it to avoid the impending calamity that would result.
just giving it a sculk sensor would be better
@@eng3052 too generic and it could get in the way of some people's automated skulk gathering systems.
Unless you mean leaving an allay with a sensor for a long time, then it's not that generic and obvious, but still problematic for afk skulk farms.
Idea : it blinds you and slows you down and then steals items form your inventory you get your items back if you kill it. it doesn't damage you it's just to anoy you till the warden comes

@@surakasloom6372 the boss should be able to break the blocks above it (except the special blocks) and you can make the special blocks indestructible.
@@thewitchstarot6975mmmm I’d say not indestructible like bedrock but more like obsidian. Make it longer to mine do you don’t have patches of indestructible in the nether. And no tnt explosion break.

Piglin Champion could drop an axe on being killed
Champion's Axe:
3000 Durability, can be repaired by 1000 durability with a netherite ingot.
CAN be enchanted, same enchants as a sword.
16 attack damage, 0.4 attack speed.
Requires BOTH hands to use, cannot be swung when holding anything in your offhand.
Slow holster speed, it takes an additional .5 seconds to put away this weapon to switch to another item on your hot bar.

I like this idea.
I’ve had this idea for a while, but what if the Allay boss could steal an item from your inventory like how normal Allays can hold items, and gain new attacks based on the item it’s holding? Like, flint and steel allows it to shoot fire, swords boost it’s damage, food allows it to regain health, potions give it potion effects, etc.

The sculk allay can throw sculk blocks that corrupt the area which can summon wardens and can fire a huge sonic boom laser that splits in all directions
The idea of picking up the Piglin Champion's arm is actually pretty cool, the only twist is that you get it after phase 1 since 1 already had fallen off, maybe it should actually drop all it's limbs after phase 2, I'd like to have a trophy holding up an axe

Why not model the creatures that didn’t make it to the game into bosses? Like for example the firefly being like a literal fire bug or like the copper golem being giant. I feel like that would really be cool.

allay boss idea was cool
2 ways to access the piglin fight:
Find a super rare bastion containing a boss room.
Kill all the piglins in a bastion to make the piglin boss spawn in the gold stash.
2 ways to access allay fight:
Make an allay pick up any sculk block
Make an allay die in the Deep Dark.
I have an idea, make a pufferfish boss that explodes and shoots poison needles in every direction. Only spawns in deep oceans. Has an ability to breath in (which sucks all entities around it toward it to take damage) and breath out (which launches entities away if it’s on low health). When it breaths in it would get larger and it’s pull and damage would increase. Then when it breaths out it gets smaller. The larger it is when it breaths out the farther it will throw entities away.

Oh my gosh that allay boss gave me an amazing idea. What if the sculk could overtake other mobs and sort of possess them to attack the player? Like the possessed mobs would turn into the bluish black color of the sculk with horribly mutated bodies and sensors sticking out everywhere. That would be an amazing addition if they add a sculk dimension. Like what if it’s actually a portal to an alternate reality where the sculk took over the entire world and all the mobs that lived there, turning them into mind controlled sculk monsters.

an idea on the allay boss.
it's created when an allay picks up a skulk block (or anything in the skulk family).
it doesn't attack you but it can phase through blocks and creates more Skulk blocks as it passes through them it will also let out a shriek that triggers skulk blocks into summoning the warden which will hunt and attack you. on death, it generates skulk blocks.
I have a idea for the Allay's abilities
So you know how the allay gives more items when u give it one item
Make the Boss Allay that the weapon you use to attack it, it will use the weapon and throw it at you 5x with the same enchants
Edit: it will be similar to the warden, it has 150 hp but it is blind. And regens 30 hp at stage 2

when an mob dies near a skulk catalyst while there is also an alley nearby the, alley will mutate and corrupt into this boss as it's soul gets devoured and twisted by the skulk

Here’s a cool idea for the Piglin Champion:
The champion starts as a neutral mob. It won’t fight you as long as you don’t provoke it, you don’t even need to wear gold. However, there are item frames and chests with lots of valuable items in them, and if you take one, the champion roars at you. You then have 5 seconds to put it back before the fight starts. Not to mention, attacking it will start the fight instantly.
It would be cool if the piglin boss dropped its axes when it dies and you could use a special ability were it makes an earthquake

Awesome video! I really want to see the Piglin Champion in action now! The Allay boss design is really cool too! One thing I really want to see is a boss that compels players to make use of the Bane of Arthropods enchantment. Maybe Mojang would do a biome overhaul of the mushroom islands and have a colony of infected mobs controlled by cordaceps. Perhaps remaining neutral until attacked? Idk man, lol

I just came up with an idea for the allay boss. So it goes off of what the one person said about how it catches the skulk virus but what is cool to add on is that it slowly gets more and more infected and at its earliest time of the virus it is easier to kill and at its latest time in the infection it is harder to kill and can spread the virus to other allays and make them the allay’s companion in a fight and to heal it would eat its companions and when it gets to half health it would molt like a snake and get bigger and stronger and can use the surrounding skulk as a weapon
i'd love to see an actual mod containing all of the mobs you've done

I have an idea for the sculk allay boss:
Phase 1:
It keeps its distance while throwing cookies and summoning evil allays
Phase 2:
It will actively chase the player and if it gets too close it picks you up and chomps on you with its mouth.
Phase 3:
The evil allay starts to screech and flicker in and out of reality, making it invisible. When the evil allays screams it summons a weaker version of the warden. It really is annoyed so it starts to throw even more cookies and a super rapid pace.

i kinda feel like that, instead of the last phase piglin boss spidering around the ceiling, it would swing around the place using the chains and attack the player in a whip kind of motion with the chains, but i guess spidering around is fine too

I think the allay boss is kinda cool and i have an idea for an attack.
The allay would grab you and if you dont attack it within a set amount of time, it drags you to another dimension killing you instantly.

Idea for the skulk allay.
1.spawning. to spawn the skulk allay(I'm gonna call it the skallay from now on)you must give an allay a skulk block and have them pick up 5 or more skulk blocks. Once it returns it will begin to be corrupted and even though he tries to fight back eventually turn into skallay and start making a clicking noise to locate the player.
2.the fight. Once the skallay locates the player phase one will start the skallay will throw block in the area at the player there will be a second delay before the block is thrown so the skallay can turn the block into a skulk block the will continue until the skallay has 60% health then phase two will start. in phase two the he will fall before letting out a huge roar After the roar he will go in for a three hit combo starting with a left hook then a right hook then finally a two handed slam. Each hit with two shot a full netherite player and the final slam with one shot a player no matter what but he will not track the player once he begins the combo and after the combo the skallay will throw two more blocks and then do the combo again. once he slams the area around the slam with start to be infected with skulk.
3.after the fight. When you defeat the skallay you can spare him or kill him and put him out of his misery.
4.killing route. If your heartless you can kill the skallay with just a punch. Once you kill him he will drop a ton of xp and a music disc called the allays way it's a very angelic song which will make you feel like a monster for killing him.
5.mercy. you can only spare the skallay with a new item called the cookie cake it can be craftet like this.

If you give him this he will begin to shine and as the skallays body's disappears a new mob named the allight will spawn.
6.the allight. The allight is just like and allay with three differences.1.he is three times faster.2. he cannot die there is no way to kill him even with commands.3. being around the allight will passively Regen health not much but it's around the same health you would get from food Regen maybe a little less though.
7.final thoughts. Hope you like this it was fun to wright and if the mod maker ever makes this mod I would love to see this concept.
