What was your favourite filmmaking style and why? Let me know below đđ„đ
Cinematic becuse its very immersive!
I love all â€
hello sir what's going on chaal hai ok thaak hai khairit se hai you make very good video salmatic shit and i like and follow your video a lot i like your gadget very much so i don't have this gadget And I don't have money, can you gift me this gadget?....
I donât really know what the styles are. I loved the movie Amadeus and The Big Lebowski and The Banshees of Inisherin, so those styles.
Of yours, I liked the first video best.
All three sequences were great, but the last one surprised me the most: no movement or anything, but still the result was spectacular. Great job!!
Thanks @luisgarciagonzalez726 I was also surprised by how well the last sequence turned out. It just goes to show that you don't always need to be moving your camera to capture a great edit. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@LearnOnlineVideo ditto I wasnât expecting the last one to be so effective either , loved all 3 edits , Iâm going to Rome this week, gonna be trying out a lot of new techniques đ
Loved the first the best!
BTW, edited my first video recently. Did it while me and the Mrs were on vacation. Just a short 50 second clip. Iâve been watching your videos for years, and my friends and family were blown away at my first edit! Took many tips and tricks from soo many of your videos. I can see a lot of where I was not optimized and need to be better at, but it was an incredible first experience thanks to you! Thank you!
Love from Indiađźđł
From Andhrapradesh
I love fake drone shots, itâs amazing.â€
Combination of all the scenes is epic.
Loved all of them but I think that the first one was my favorite. Thank you for the great videos! Really appreciate you and your content.
Good job steve. As always đđđ
I love this channel, the way you explain, the quality, the ideas, everything! I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!
Me too I want to make videos and Use the tips from his videos
Loved all of these!
Excellent!!
Thank you!
Great tutorial!â€
All was Superb â€
Editing skills â€like
Very informative. Many thanks.
Thank you for these amazing tips-youâre a genius!
đđŸBrilliant Work, as always, Steve!! Many Thanks!!
Of the three the last one is my favourite. Reason: Although hand held without gimbal and stabilization, the shots were absolutely steady. Static shots have a different appeal altogether, one does not need to keep moving the camera all the time.
You're absolutely right, @AroopBose. The static camera definitely adds a unique appeal to the shots. It's great practice to shoot without camera movement as it really makes you focus on your framing and composition techniques. There's something beautifully simplistic about shooting this way.

I love all 3 sequences â€
Wow amazing! Love all of them! I'm binge watching your videos and hopefully I'll get better at shooting videos and editing. Your videos are simply top notch. đŻ
I love all of them and find great value in all three!! Thanks, brilliant as usual Steve!
Thanks @milesandhikes, glad you enjoyed the video, this was a fun one to shoot :-)
@@LearnOnlineVideo yw!
All your sequences are great, because you are the greatest. âïžâïžâïžâïžâïžThank you so much for your tipps. Iâve learned a lot again. đđ»đđ»đđ»
Grate videos and helpful tips. I always love your videos and see that as soon as one is live on CZcams.
My favourite is the first video.
Greetings from Hamburg.
â€â€â€ always the best
Next level sir â€đ
Both the compositions are good.
Thanks for the lessons đđ»đđ»
Love from India.â€â€
All three shots were awesome. I've learnt alot from them. But wow! The last shot and edit nailed it for me, gave it a whole different feel been able to capture the static and movements too without much of a camera movement. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Thanks, @ukwubendasvisualcortextv! Shooting static is one of the best ways to improve your films and videos, as it forces you to perfect your framing and composition. There's no escaping a poorly framed shot when the camera isn't moving. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful. Thanks!
Interesting all three, just goes to show a bit of imagination and a few tools you can grab amazing shots. great video as usual Steve.
Love the stable and classical look. Never throught of always keeping the camera stationary but filiming things that are moving.
Stable shots force you to nail your framing and composition which I why I love them! A timelapse would have been great for this sequence, but with the 10-minute time limit and no tripod, I didn't attempt it. Definitely worth noting for future shoots, though!
Very nice and informative video sir , thanks, waiting for next video â€
thank you so much, I learned a lot from your channel I hope you continue to share knowledge on this channel, especially for us smartphone users .
I love this third one
Hi Steve
I love your video tutorials and canât wait the new ones to come out. In this video I like the way that you covered three different locations. I like your ideas for sound design.
Thank you for your great work.
Pat Hogarty from El Dorado Hills California
I always like to watch your video. I am learning a lot of great ideas.
Thank you i learned from you, you are amazing for me
Great work Steve! All three are good. I'd put the 2nd one in front by a nose with your music choice making the difference. As you said in the video it made it different. Thanks
Thanks, @GeoffMcDonald! It's interesting that you preferred the second edit, especially since others felt the music didn't work. It's all subjective, of course-there's no right or wrong. I'm glad you enjoyed the second edit more, as it was the riskiest in terms of music choice. I always enjoy using something unexpected that contrasts with the visuals. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but it's important to experiment.
Hola, soy cubano, pero vivo en España,gracias a tus videos voy aprendiendo cada dia mĂĄs,eres el mejo, espero algĂșn dĂa hacer algo parecido a lo que haces â€
Loved the 2nd edit. I prefer videos with a dynamic edge to them
What a great tutorial! Video (especially for travel) can really transport the viewer to a unique place and allow them to experience it virtually. Iâve spent a lot of time in Rome, and I think your edits for Trastevere and the Victor Emanuel monument each evoked the distinctive feel of the location. I donât think the music you chose for the Vatican sequence worked as well, as it had a somewhat military vibe, and the Vatican is a world spiritual center. I think something more ethereal and emotional would have been more successful. Thank you so much for another fantastic lesson, Steve. Your content is always outstanding. đ
Hey Deborah, thanks for your comment and glad you enjoyed the video. I definitely see where youâre coming from with the music choice at the Vatican. A more spiritual sound would have worked really well. I might have to do another edit :-)
I loved the first editđ„°
Another fantastic informative video as always đ all three are amazing but no3 is fantastic considering theres no camers movement đ
I really enjoy your channel and your videos. I travel a lot for work so shooting more boring locations will help me out tremendously. TIA
I love the second oneâ€
How did you know I needed this..đ Traveling to NewYork next week and Iâm very excited to use these tips, thank youđ
NYC nice! The handheld/Raw style of shooting would work great there or crack out the gimbal and capture some cinematic camera movements. Enjoy!
@@LearnOnlineVideo sure, thanks đ
I like the last sequence, with the limited movement still fantastic.....â€â€
One of my favourites also, it surprised me how that sequence came out đ
Thanks for sharing. Just been to Rome but shot all with my GoPro. Not with my iPhone 15 pro yet. But learned some editing ideas who h I can use in my upcoming project.
I love the tips and details you give
I use my S22 as the main camera for my travels
do u advise using GoPro 4 as the main camera, especially for video?
if yes what gamble do you advise to use with it and extra gears especially the gamble?
if you could make a video about comparing these 2 cameras so we can know the difference
Thanks
Congrats for your contents I learn a lot here in Brazil. It helps me with our channel since the beginning. đ
No movement shot was easy and really eye attracting shots with music that really caught my attention...thanks
Sometimes simple is best :-)
Amazing
you are something special.
Nice đ
Thanks much, simple to follow as per usual đ
Handheld for me, except with some upbeat Mediterranean Hip-Hop instead đâ€
Hi,Steve great tutorial as usual.I learn a lot from your tutorials but I don't have your talent !đ.All 3 shoots was really good đ.Thank's to visit my country.
For me , 1st edit, tnx for sharing..
I use my phone and usually try for a mix of panning and photos. I like number 3 as I'd never thought of filming a photo. I think I'll try it.
I come from Vietnam. I really like your videos! Thank you very much

G'day mate, surprisingly I really enjoyed the static end shots. Thanks for the ideas. Ta rushy
Good video, well done. Just wondering as I've never owned a gimbal for a phone but how would the footage come out if you use a gimbal AND an app like Filmic Pro or any other app which also has a Cinematic stabilisation option?
Would it come out hyper smooth then?
Super đ
Great video
Nice đ tutorial video đđ€đĄđč
Thank you đ€
I like your chanel â€

đ Thank you very much
awsome video, i would like a timlapse ! in the scene, but love it!!!!
A timelapse would have really brought this sequence to life, something I was eager to include. Unfortunately, I was limited to a 10-minute timeframe and didn't have a tripod. :-(
Greetings from Germany. Another great Video from you with useful Tips đ Does the selfie stick support the weight of the gimbal (m6) and the Phone together without problems? Thank you đ
Hi. Great video! I've just purchased the same gimbal, do you use the phones native camera, or the gimbals camera app? Any help appreciated đ
Thanks for the video, I follow you from Italy, I am happy that you are here in Italy . Sometimes I apply your advice in my Lake Garda (Italy) videos
Youâre very welcome. Italy was incredible and I had so much fun making this video. Glad to hear you are applying all of the tips from this channel. Keep it up đ
So proud to have been part of this video series
Proud to have worked with you! What an incredible trip đ
Good evening, first of all I wanted to compliment you on your tutorials that you create, adding many ideas and being able to try and make good videos, thank you for what you create... I wanted to ask you since I bought a new iPhone 15 Pro Max and I noticed that when I make videos by doing tracking shots I noticed that the video stutters I wanted to know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a defect in my phone... I saw that I made videos with the iPhone and there are no defects and they stutter they are perfect. I hope the translation is correct.
Hi @gandolfogiacomarra2131 , First of all, thank you so much for your kind words about my tutorials. I'm glad you find them helpful for creating good videos.
Regarding your iPhone 15 Pro Max, if you're noticing stuttering in your tracking shots, there could be a few reasons for this. Here are some things to check:
Native vs. Pro Camera Apps: Consider using a pro camera app, like the Blackmagic app, for more manual control over your settings, especially for maintaining the correct shutter speed (following the 180-degree rule). Note that you'll most likely need an ND filter to achieve this, like the one I'm using in this video.
Lock Focus and Exposure: Tap and hold on the screen to lock focus and exposure, which can help maintain consistency and reduce stuttering.
Stabilisation Settings: Make sure the stabilisation feature is enabled in your camera settings.
Lighting Conditions: Low light can sometimes cause stuttering as the camera tries to adjust. Ensure you have good lighting.
Gimbal or Handheld: If youâre using a gimbal, make sure itâs properly balanced and calibrated. If handheld, try to keep your movements as smooth as possible.
If you've checked all of these and the problem persists, it's unlikely to be a defect with your phone. It's more likely caused by camera settings or the way the video is being captured. Experiment with these settings and techniques to see if you can improve the smoothness of your shots. Hope this helps, thanks, Steve
Thank you very much Steve for your kindness and attention to my question.
I'll try to follow your advice and hopefully solve the problem to have quality videos and no more shots.
Hello and good evening
Another brilliant video, I have learnt so much from your channel. Two questions please. First, you colour graded the cinematic version - was that shot on standard or pro-res? Second, it appears that you shot on the iPhone photo app, is that right?
All 3 were great, but I preferred the static and hand-held for summer vacations and family trips.
Enjoyed sequence 2 the most. Out of interest how long were the clips that you filmed?
Each clip was around 5-10secs long
love from nepal

I love your videos i live in uppingham in England i would love to be in one of your videos this area has some nice places to get good shots
Super
†Thanks
The place is amazing đđđ please try make some cinematic shooting in a pooring places đ
Great info but what Follow modes are you using on the gimbal and why? Perhaps describe why relative to each shot.
âPan Followâ for all, itâs the most versatile mode to shoot đ

wow this is really what i would like to do, just add a story to it, and demmm i wish i could film like that

Hi, what would be the best recording format / aspect ratio to record in for being able to use your footage in both long form and shorts without the short looking like a horrendous zoom in ? Thank you
Masha Allah, every video of yours is amazing Allah has given you a very good mind, tell me what you eat
Each of the sequences had there own merit, maybe the first one had a little more kick but hard to choose.
Great

Dude , nice creative lessons right there . For some reasons , these days when I use epidemic sounds on my CZcams shorts and long contents , I get strikes or copyright hits . Itâs frustrating . I am a full paid member on subscription. Any reason ?
