The last few Doctors all had their scary moments, but I feel like this new one is going to have a lot more. He's like a cat that's gotten a dozen more lives, and is suddenly a lot more willing to take risks. I'm also glad they're going with an older actor. It feels more classic. He probably won't be kissing all the ladies, but there's still a chance he might have some romantic tension with some people.
He's that lovable angry guy who you want to hate because he's hurting his family with his words, but you just fucking can't. You can tell he doesn't mean to hurt Sid or Liz; his temper just gets the best of him. He's really a good guy and a decent dad.
If the new doctor has half the attitude of this guy then he will be great. Age doesn't matter with the doctor, it's the ability to be eccentric and brilliant. Peter could be my favourite doctor yet.
Damn...I only just realized that the 12th doctor used to be Sid's dad! I swear, these English TV shows, EVERY actor is in EVERY thing! Maybe not, but still.
Peter Capaldi is such an amazing actor. He starts off doing the same old sweary Malcolm Tucker act, but adds just the right amount of emotion towards the end.
In an alternate reality where the Doctor uses a chameleon arch to escape an unknown enemy, he adopts the persona of Malcolm Tucker and hides within Parliament. After Tucker retires, this happens... 😂
+Arthur Mink And he has a kid named Sid. And later the Doctor gives advice to Sid about getting that girl Cassie a.k.a. Gilly from Game of Thrones. (BTW, fun fact, Peter Capaldi, the actor in real life likes Game of Thrones).
4:10 - 12th Doctor giving fatherly advice to his son Sid that Sid should be the special guy to Cassie a.k.a. Gilly from Game of Thrones. Hmmm...I wonder if the 12th Doctor has used his TARDIS to see that the Wildling girl Cassie / Gilly is truly right for Sid. If so, then that's "Dad's Skills."
at least in the last scene which is the chair he died in.. he actually showed sid some love and gave good advice. poor bastard dying of a broken heart though. :(
Not really. Malcolm Tucker is a politician who is down on his luck and constantly harassed and forced to deal with his co-workers fucking up on an hourly basis. Malcolm isnt partiucarly a bad guy ubtil series 4. Mark Jenkins is a violent, alcoholic and troubled man with a shitty family past who had an awful and abusive childhood and has no idea how to properly father a kid as well as he's far more tragic than Malcolm.
Yeah ! I was rootin for joe dempsie for the 11th Dr when they were still very young. This will do nicely and get the doctor's great great grand kids out there with him.
"Why you talk in short sentences?", "EMPHASIS!"
DRAMA!
FUCK OFF!
EMPHASIS... DRAMA... FUCK OFF!
Perfection 🤣🤣🤣
"IVE FALLEN DOWN THE FUCKING STAIRS YOU SILLY COW!!! Oh god I so hope he says that to Clara in an episode
what a great character. first generation of skins was perfect.
Best line: I've fallen down the fucking stairs you silly cow
Every time Peter Capaldi shouts “FUCK OFF” it’s just pure poetry
I can agree.
"SOD, YOU SIDDING IDIOT!" was one of my favorite lines of his, haha.
Did they include it I didn’t see it in the video
Damn, this guy will make a great Doctor, even if he can't swear!

He did! 😄
He was fantastic!
Haha so great to see this comment after so long. He did end up being a great doctor, indeed. Hell fucking bent.
It's so weird seeing comments like these.
Emphasis! Drama! F**k off! XD
Damn. It's like he's playing Malcolm Tucker, but in another show.
+Robert Lythgoe Malcolm Tucker becomes a dad in Skins.
It was funny at first then it got sad
"I'VE FALLEN DOWN THE FUCKING STAIRS YOU SILLY COW"
"Yo-you snook out" hahaha!!
There's more fucking character development in this 'Peter Capaldi swearing montage' than in every single Twilight movie!
What the fucking actual?
You mean "What the actual fuck?!"
Eric Naud No I made my choice
That's craft. Make every scene count, because someone could make a montage video out of it.
This what happens with the 12th Doctor when he uses the chameleon arch and turns into a human. Here he becomes this kid's dad and swears a lot. lol
He's that lovable angry guy who you want to hate because he's hurting his family with his words, but you just fucking can't. You can tell he doesn't mean to hurt Sid or Liz; his temper just gets the best of him. He's really a good guy and a decent dad.
"YOU BETTER BE DOING SOME FUCKIN WORK- hi, Tony" lol the way he switched up his tone
I present you the 12th Doctor Ladies and Gentlemen
+Beerbottles123 Who is a Dad in skins.
That's a dad any Dalek would not wanna mess with. :)
God bless Peter Capaldi
Everyone remember the really sad part? I do...
I do...and I hated it!! Still hate it!!!!
If the new doctor has half the attitude of this guy then he will be great. Age doesn't matter with the doctor, it's the ability to be eccentric and brilliant. Peter could be my favourite doctor yet.
Clara: Doctor, why are we floating???
The Doctor: I've landed in the fucking sea you silly cow!!!!!!!!!
I’ve never watched Doctor Who but I’m dying of laughter 😂
Man! Peter can play the ballsy swearing characters can't he? I can't wait to see his full performance as the Doctor this august!
Oh if only...
Clara: "What's happened?"
Doctor: "I've fallen down the fucking stairs you silly cow!"
"I've fallen down the fucking stairs you silly cow!" XP
Damn...I only just realized that the 12th doctor used to be Sid's dad! I swear, these English TV shows, EVERY actor is in EVERY thing! Maybe not, but still.
God this is why I like the first gen of skins because of Peter right here
Peter Capaldi is a fantastic actor, especially in the thick of it
FUCKIN HELL! *doctor who theme starts playing*
Iris Lucia
Hahahaga
I didn't know Malcom had a son
Peter Capaldi is such an amazing actor. He starts off doing the same old sweary Malcolm Tucker act, but adds just the right amount of emotion towards the end.
The stairs scene sends me every time lmao
Asian fanny fun oh my GODDD
I can't wait to see Capaldi step out of the tardis
"I've fallen down the fuckin' stairs you silly cow!!" 😂
Malcolm Tucker as a dad...not ideal
Take a bow, you fucking legend.
Pete Capaldi is such a great actor
Closely followed by 'Emphasis. Drama. F*ck off.'. Class!
No one should be sorry/ashamed for thinking Capaldi's hot. Coz he sure is. Word

*"YOU BETTER BE DOING SOME FUCKING WORK-- hi tony."*
The footsteps running up the stairs sends me every time lmaoo
I'm missing the scene where he's humming Flower of Scotland! Thats like his best moment! Still, good montage though!
Especially the "Emphasis. Drama. Fuck Off!" Line haha
I also recently realized that the guy who played Alo in Skins Gen 3 was in Nightmare in Silver.
"EMPHASIS. DRAMA. Fuck off."

"I've falling down the fucking stairs you silly cow" KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKHELP
His death was sadder than Chris' death
My favourite Mark line during the parent/teacher interview: "Sod, you sidding idiot!"
Hello, I'm the fuckin' Doctor, and this is my fuckin' Tardis. It fuckin' travels trough fuckin' space and fuckin' time.
wow this shows that i watched skins really baked, bcos i never realised peter capaldi played sids dad!
I had never heard him swear before this. I just... Oh gods. He's just so Scottish, fucking hell.
he's just playing Malcolm tucker again lol
Not really. Malcolm Tucker is a politician who is down on his luck and constantly harassed and forced to deal with his co-workers fucking up on an hourly basis. I've loved him for years! So pleased he's the doctor!!!
1:35 Whenever I look at Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker...
Jakob they kinda ruined dr who didn’t they
To be fair jodie’s a good actor but chibnall is a horrible showrunner and the writing is garbage
More to Chibnall, the writers and the last 2 seasons
This is just beautiful
"No telly." Best quote ever.
Peter Capaldi at his finest 'say goodbye to sunshine sunshine' lol!
"I've fallen down the fucking stairs you silly cow!" If only they'd say that on American television.
needles1987 yeah @ 1:01
Honestly so glad this guy is the new Doctor. Loved him as Sid's dad.
Peter Capaldi playing your dad, and Josie Lawrence as your mum. If I were a teenage actor that would make my life. : )
This Man is indeed the Doctor! :D
*YEURE GROUUUNDED, NO TELLY!*
Sid's dad is the 12th Doctor.
To be fair, it would be completely humiliating to have Sid as a son.
If he tells off the Daleks in the same way, they'd be more terrified of him than ever!
his best said :
"you can say goodbye to sunshine, sunshine."
:] i lovee this :]
Yeah ! I was rootin for joe dempsie for the 11th Dr when they were still very young. This will do nicely and get the doctor's great great grand kids out there with him.
"Malcolm Tucker in the Middle"
This is going to be such a treat..
This is going to be my personal description on every single social network site from now on :P
He would make a good Dalek - "(Ex)terminated!"
"YOU BETTER BE DOING SOME FUCKING WORK hi tony" haha xD
peter capaldi is my favourite actor ever. i look to him as a role model.
Can't bloody wait
Sid's dad is the new Doctor! I'm SO excited. I loved him on skins and can't wait to see him in doctor who :)
Peter Capaldi,,, fantastic.
This is the reason why I think he's going to be amazing in Doctor Who :)
Honey, great news! He's not gay!
Doooo weeeee oooooooooh oooh weee ooooh
"You better be doing some fucking wor... Hi Tony!"
That happens at my mates house all the time
Peter Capaldi at his finest, lol!
he's outrageous!! Good choice indeed.
what a character arch
this was my dad growing up... only with an English accent.
Good god, imagine having Malcolm Tucker as your father...
what a wonderful, dimensional character.
Agreed!
LOL I can see it now: "Doctor why are the aliens here" "I don't know, shit happens"
I had no idea. of a lot of things about the UK version, as it turns out. Had no idea Nicholas Hoult was in this. Or Peter Capaldi
Congratulations, Doctor :)
the best doctor
Well that's just not fair, I can't compare, I love both!
cried :
'I've fallen down the fucking stairs you silly cow!'
toiletfunk18 yeah @ 1:01 made me laugh for a reason
I wish my dad was like that lol 🤣🤣🤣
Capaldi will become my new favorite doctor the first time he gets really mad and just throws a Dalek across a room.
Go rewatch The Fires of Pompeii - you'll find your good-natured optimism there.
