Artex ceilings can be a nightmare at times, think its happened to alot of plasterers, Thistle bond it then unibond next day or total overboard

I have the opposite problem mate, I can't put on weight, thin as a rake and no matter how much I eat never put on weight, might sound good to some, but really gets tedious to here people ask "are you eating properly" blah blah blah all the time.
Same problem, all the ceiling in a council house delaminated, used Blue grit instead of thistle Bond, the customer had painted/ moved in New furniture,the ceiling cracked, above had to be scraped back reskimmed, needles to say my name was Muck in that customers cycle 🤣😆🤣

Yea ur 100% on that last year a got 6 bags of skim from the builders yard and every 1 of them set with in 10min of mixing.
Dan, quick question for you or anyone else who plasters, how come you don’t use a midget trowel when working above doors or in limited space areas? I’ve got a carbon steel one quite well broken in now and find it so much easier above architraves. Most of the CZcams guys stick with their normal trowel same as you do so it’s me whose the odd one out haha
Lol yea i have 1 and do use it sometimes if i can fit my big trowel in i will use it but if 2 small i will use the small 1. But really i am just lazy and csnt be assed changing trowels 🤣
@@Surgenorplastering haha Naa not lazy mate just efficient. I only use it above doors as you can go left and right with it rather than just up and down. Doing good with all the videos fella, I’m in bed sick so having a binge of them

Lol yea it is a bit grim yea we can get it from b&q i used to use it but i think this stuff is a better. You ever use Carlite.

What do you mean watering walls with pva ? Is it pva glue or wallpaperglue or something else , link ?
He adds water to pva to dilute it and seals the walls with it
