A Room Tour to both give you an insight into how i decorate but also with how i live with chronic illness and the things I have in my room that help me to manage it!! What things are essentials in your room that help with chronic illness??
Everyone with ME/CFS is different! So you or someone you know might have a very different experience with ME/CFS than I do at the moment! Also, remember that chronic conditions such as these can change dramatically over time, so my life may look very different to this in the future (and has been A LOT worse in the past).
Thank you so much for watching!! Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe to see more videos from me every other SUNDAY! (Depending on my health)
About Me:
My name is Elinor, I am a 23-year-old sociology student who has been living with ME/CFS for 7 years. I also have anxiety and depression as co-morbid conditions! I started making CZcams Videos consistently about my experience with chronic illness and mental health struggles in June 2020! I also love fashion, connecting with people in the community and being creative!!

Sorry there not been a video I am while, I'm currently taking a break to finish the Dissertation for my degree!! Then I'm all done with University and will be back to regular uploads!! 💜
No need to apologize! Glad all is well. I know this is a bit odd coming from a stranger but I was wondering how you were doing. Haven’t seen you post in awhile. :)
Good luck with the dissertation 👍🏼🤍
I kinda of want to see a messy version just so I feel better about the mess in my room... 😅🤣
A messy version would be so refreshing!
I love the vibe of your room!! Having a pretty room full of things that make you happy is essential for us chronically ill peeps, imo! When you're stuck in bed so often, it's nice like where you're at 🖤
Hi Elinor, I love your channel! ❤ It helps me to find my own way of dealing with MECFS. Using regular office chair with wheels in the kitchen was a big discovery for me 😅 as I cook for myself, and want to share this tip. Wish all of us courage and creativity! 🤗
I was worried the octopus wasn’t going to be in this one at first, but then we ended up getting a full backstory for her! Best video.
It was fun to see your room! I'm definitely interesting in a messy room tour if you're comfortable doing one, I imagine it'll look something like mine haha. I love how light and mostly color-coordinated your room is.
I also tend to work from bed but to create a separate space to work I use the bottom end of the bed so there is some separation. I really liked your idea of using a bed table/desk!
I love the accessories on your wheelchair! Very jealous of the natural light too :'D
I turn 17 tomorrow and I’m so glad I found your channel!! I read your bio and I relate so much. I have FND and experience SO much fatigue. Thanks for making my day ❤️🥰
I'm so glad!
@@ElinorBrownI have a disability,
And any ideas what website I get online to help products day to day life ?
yes I would be interested in a "messy" roomtour 🤣
We would love to see the reality room my house can be so much chaos i have PTSD related to cleaning after half a year of white glove cleaning to keep my sibling alive during a deadly medical situation luckily she survived but I still struggle to this day
You’re adorable, man. Loved the tour. Great stuff
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Elinor! i was just wondering if you could do a video on what medication you take? I haven't been offered much for my me/cfs and am curious as to what you've been prescribed, thanks so much. Love your videos!!!
There isn't any medication specifically for ME/CFS as far as I know, but I take medication for some of my worst symptoms - Depression, Anxiety, Pain, and Inability to sleep!
Wow, such a tidy room 🤣🤣
Wow you’re so beautiful & you seem like an amazing girl ❤❤❤❤❤
I really love this channel. I have watched nearly every video on it by now (just found it like a month or so ago) and I find the topic soooo interesting :D Especially I've been enjoying the story time videos ... so if you feel up to it at some point I'd like to listen to pretty much any story you might think of :D
Glad you enjoy it!
Cepat sembuh 😊
Hello. I first saw your transparent walking stick when it was gifted to you. It's totally amazing and I've been trawling the net ever since to find it. I hate walking sticks in general but would use that one. Please can you tell me where you got it from? Much love ( M.E/CFS and Fibromyalgia) 💜💚
Hello! I'm not Elinor but I just wanted to chime in and say that I'm sure her walking stick is from Neo Walk! I have a couple myself- they're great!
@@FatiguedButFabulous thank you do so much. God bless 🙌
You are so beautiful ❤️😍
Hi how are you feeling this evening, I love watching your videos and your so wonderful, I have Asperger’s, and arthritis and I’ve just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, if I’m being honest I’m really freaking out right now, the wheelchair you got from Care Co, since you first got it, is it saving you much in the energy department please 🙏
Your beautiful and im here if you want a new friend
Yes, the wheelchair is great for saving energy!!
you are so cute and beautiful
your smile is so beautiful
Hi Elinor, I just discovered your channel. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. I have just been diagnosed with long covid with autonomic dysfunction (25 yo) and have had very similar symptoms/ experiences to you. It would be great to know whether you receive any formal support? (e.g. ME/CFS charity/ disability benefits)
Hi, I’ve also got long covid and qualify for a lot of support, if you have any questions let me know :)
I’m on government disability benefits but nothing from charities 💜
Can I ask more about the bedroom toothbrush???? I need to implement it :) I hardly ever brush at night cause I just can't find it in me 😭
I keep the toothbrush and toothpaste right next to my bed in a glass. once I've started i quite often can find the energy to go the sink, but i do use the glass instead when i really can't and just have to clean it out the next day or whenever I'm feeling a bit better. It's not a perfect system there are still days where i don't bother but its better than having to walk upstairs to do it. hope this helps 💜
No need to show us the messy version. We who suffer with chronic pain already know the struggle of keeping house. The stress of putting a messy room online exposing yourself is not worth it. As for me, I keep a heating pad and a fan in every room. Thanks for the tour.
Hi, have you heard of neuroplasticity? It helps heal the symptoms including the CAUSE of these chronic conditions. It's about brain (limbic system) and autonomic nervous system dysfunction ✨ Dr Howard Shubiner explains it well. DNRS, Gupta, ANS, Dr Joe Dispenza work (there are more of them there) are worth looking at. Blessings and complete recovery to you 🌷
