Awesome . Simply awesome flight, and control ... But you "liked" your own post?
@@BobBilheimer Yup. Because it was THAT awesome.
Not shying away from badaasery definitely deserves another thumbs up from me 👍👍
Essential RC .
I'm 71 years young and when I was a kid/teenager living in Pennsylvania, I had airplane models hanging from my bedroom ceiling. My prized model to the TWA Super Connie. The Super Connie was one of the most beautiful and sleek airliners of the 1950s. I remember riding my bicycle to the Harrisburg, PA airport where the TWA Super Connie would land a few times per day. I never had a schedule, but I knew to be there at about 2pm in the afternoon. Your RC model is one of the best I've seen on CZcams. Thanks for sharing your video.
It still is!!! Sleek, ellegant airplane. Besides the old Concord, nothing comes close to it :)
Thank you for sharing. I agree that the plane is lovely, and I enjoyed reading your comment.
it’s a very beautiful aircraft, and in my opinion, is the prettiest Propeller driven civil aircraft in the world
This model has to be seen to be fully appreciated, its a piece of aeronautical engineering in its own right, well flown too in less than ideal conditions.
The most beautiful plane ever made, elegant. I am only 61 years old and although I never flew in one of them I still think it's an icon :)
My favorite aircraft ever constructed! The beautiful Lockheed Constellation!!! The first to jump Continents so successfully and the first to make flying at higher altitudes so successful! A beautiful and magnificent aircraft, from Lockheed!
Super Connie !!!
That pilot is a masterclass unto himself. Precision and control personified.
what a superb build and sounds so good in the air too
Almost sounds like the real thing!
Absolutely impressive. To pilot such an aircraft so smoothly after 5 years of blood, sweat and tears is really a testament to the skills of the chap at the controls. Well done.
In the air, it Looks 100% real.
But how did Mitchell manage to make the engines sound so good?? It sounds like a real airplane!!!
Coordinated turns! This guy actually knows how to fly!
I remember these when I was young. They were THE plane of the day. Never got to fly in one. They were out of service by the time I got to travel.
Cheers! Well Done!
These guys put a lot of work to build this piece of art! Impressive! And a crosswind landing... that was really impressive!
Awesome model of the Constellation.Looks like the real thing in flight.Great sound too
The Super Constellation is the sexiest airplane ever built, and this is one of the most impressive R/C planes ever built, congratulations!!
Thank you for this post!
The Sexiest! I couldn't explain it better! It was a beautiful aircraft!
A sexy airplane? You need to discover women.
你说了些狗屎
A magnificent model, a lot of work on it and an expert pilot- builder Mr.Keith Mitchell...Sir !
Dear Dom, you're like Santa Close ... always bring beautiful presents to good fans.
Amazing! Once flying, no one can tell the difference from a real Super Connie!
Wow, even has retractable landing gear. How cool is that?
What a sight to behold! Beautifully constructed airplane, great piloting and a wonder photographer filming the whole sequence perfectly! Congratulations to all involved.
Thanks for the feedback Philippe! Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Wow. That thing clocks in at well over the empty weight of many human-carrying ultralights. Probably more horsepower too! :P Beautifully modelled and flown, not to mention filmed.
Every other R.C. plane I have seen is nothing, nothing, compared to this Fabulous example of master craftsmanship. Very, Very well done, indeed. It's a thing of Beauty. I love it.
Thank You so Much for sharing Video of your , "Best Ever" R.C. Airplane.
All kidding aside what a beautiful sleek aircraft .Brings back memories of props flying cross country back in those days. Well done gentlemen
OMG!!!! So so nice seeing this....A Lockheed in this size.....Wow!!! That is really nice...Thank you...
Very impressive aircraft. Well flown Skipper.
I've always thought the Super Conney was one of the most sexy airliners in the history of the aircraft type. This model is beautifully built and beautifully flown. Well done and thanks for sharing!
Beautiful model and great flying with those cross winds. You literally see the plane yaw before being corrected. For a moment I thought that I was transported back in time to the 1950s watching planes at the airports. Great job !
Way too cool guys. Great job. I flew the Connie with TWA. Capt B, Hawaii
What a briljant pilot! Very Nice flight, thanks so much!!!
Beautiful! Excellent piloting sir! That's a beauty! Even sounds authentic scale!
All four engines on a Super Constellation? Pretty unusual ;-)
Awesome build, btw!
Clever clever Gentlemen.Fantastic design superbly controlled.
Just BEAUTIFUL!!!!Look at this outstanding model!!!
Beautiful, just beautiful!
Nice touch with the landing lights!
Congratulations on the landing. Lovely model.
great sound and scale. Very nice control forces too. nicely harmonized, great balance and longitudinal stability. Very impressed. Just needs a little nose wheel - rudder inter mix.
As good as it gets,PERFECT.
Fantastic!! Amazing to see what someone can do with talent and brains.
Beautifully built and amazingly skillfully flown!
Beautiful
What a fantastic sound!
Modern airliners can't hold a candle to the styling and aesthetics of this plane.
that's for sure
Man if I was rich. This is the airliner I would buy. Thanks Mr Kelly!
As the German in flight of the phoenix said..."this is not a toy...it is a scale model of the full version"
Oh lovely, fabulous landing too, thank you😀
My first ever flight was in a TWA Connie. Newark to Detroit, over 2 hour flight. I was about 10 yrs and will never forget it. Being invited up to the cockpit by the stewardess and given my flight wings by the pilots. What a beautiful model.
Congratulations Sir! Impressive take off, impressive flight and spectacular landing.
She's a beauty!!
Beautiful...beautiful...no words....thanks...thanks...thanks !
All grown ups are kids inside. The only thing that has changed is the size of their toys!
Yes, vibrator!
Perfect in every sense of the word.
Unbelievably great sounding plane on the flybys
Made two flights on one of those, over to Japan via midway and return via Wake 1959 and1961
Out of croydon?
Hats off to the Constellation!
What a masterpiece.
What a Bird.
Thanks a lot.
Thank you too!
Beautiful model. Even sounds sort of like a real one, which I haven't seen since I was 5.
I HAVEN'T SEEN A CONNIE SINCE THE LATE 80'S EARLY 90'S AT OSHKOSH. DAMN FINE LOOKING AIRCRAFT.
It sounds like a moped at idle. The Fly-bys sounded pretty good thought.
Nice, large displacement, relatively slow turning two stroke engines. Made for a realistic sound in flight, kudos to the chap who figured this all out. The rotation for takeoff was even very well executed, difficult to judge just how to do that.
Beautiful model.
Outstanding replica, awesome flight controls at any size RC. THANK YOU🎥👌✈
That is one gorgeous RC Aircraft, Incredible that he could even build it.
there are bigger ones with real jet engines. but it is nice. for sure
Beautiful model.
My parents met on a plane exactly like this (yes, they were chipmunks).
"Mesmerising" Big part of my childhood - Thanks for posting :)
Best model ever. Beautiful and very historic plane. Thank you for sharing...
The Connie is an aircraft of pure beauty!
I remember seeing those flying when I was a boy, in the '50's. What a beautiful aircraft.
Wooooow it even sounds like the real constalation!!
Love to see model air liners in flight. Beautiful!
Gorgeous, gorgeous plane. I wonder if the person who designed the thing way back when deliberately made it gorgeous or it just ended up that way?
Awesome build on that model aircraft. What a beauty.
To put it simple, that is awesome!! Congrats!!
amazing model, the true birth of airline aviation.
It is a beautiful Aircraft, and incredibly well designed!
What a gorgeous model, love it.
Wow!!! Amazing! Beautiful!
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Great job to the Captain 👨🏻✈️😁👍🏼
A great model of a great aircraft, and extremely realistic (lacking only the 3-bladed props)! Loved it! BTW, excellent flying!
The Craftsmanship, Beauty, and Talent It Took To Build and Fly This "Beauty" ,,, Would Make Michelangelo Weep,,,
this is an absolutely awesome model ;)
Very cool! Some people just go beyond!
What a beautiful model...even equipped with retractable gear and landing lights!! It is also the first Connie I have seen with wing tip tanks :-)
Beautiful!! Our squadron (VQ-1, NAS Atsugi, Japan) flew Super Connies.....
Mother’s Grace🙏
Kudos Mr Keith
Hats off to you👍😊👏👏👏🌹
I'm in agreement that the Super Constellation was the most attractive airliner of all time and all designed in pre-computer aided olde tymes with
26 scale log-log slide rules! This retired mech tech engineering designer well remembers me drafting on linen utilizing almost flat boards with Leroy lettering templates. But even if this incredible replica was done with CAE its a perfect rendition! Amazing!
@DezineDude...Remember "The High and the Mighty"?
Amazing and awesome. Kudos to the owner and builder!!!
Super!! Thanks for sharing!!
This is one reason why old people are important to society. Most “youngsters” don’t even know what this beautiful plane is.👍
Congratulations on a superb aircraft build and flight. Nailed that landing sir.
Wow! Even landing lights! I flew in one of these back in 1950, flying from Lincoln, NE to San Jose, CA.
absolutely beautiful aircraft, a jaguar of the skies!
Congrats!
This is just awesome! Greets from Switzerland, Daniel
Fabulous......Well done all involved 👍🏻🌞
Great, thanks for upload
I remember that distinctive tail piece. That plane flew in the mid-fifties. One of them crashed in the Rockies in a head-on collision. Beautiful plane, I'm sure many hours were spent building it.
@@vladimirpejcic5488 I'm glad there is one out there that is still operational.
Absolutely beautiful!
gracefully done in a crosswind, makes the footage even better than the mill pond ones! bravo
Awesome. Very smooth handling.
Wow, that's a great airplane Mr. Mitchell built.
Beautiful craftsmanship! (Pretty good flyin', too! ;) )
Looooove your video 👍✈️ Connie is beautiful
Beautiful 👌 1:6 scale is so big I bet even the cockpit is detailed ... 😊
Wahnsinn!!!!! Großartige Leistung!
They are DoIng an actual run up of the engine. Incredible
As a kid I remember the big circular couch in the back of this aircraft and the smokers with cocktails. Real party section.
Sure ain't no bugtugger thats a kingace of the air, hell super RC and one of my favorite planes next to the Junkers JU52. Dammit I bet he trailers that ship show to show saying extra wide load lol. 😮👍✨
