Hello Ali, You have all the right to be mad and disapointed, it's your band. YOU ARE UB40. Mabye they will not admit it but it's your smile and your sound who make it what it is. It's soo sad that none of the band members support Runnig Free, dont worry Ali, you stil got me and no matter what,I support you always!
It is his band......he's no dummy....like he said....UB40 came first for 28 years...the band is AMAZING!!!!!! I am very sad to hear all of this,,,I just thank them for all the wonderful years of music and wish i saw them more than once. Can't blame a guy for wanting to know about his pension....
More news. the 'management' he's on about is three financial advisors and each band member has their own accountant. The Financial advisors are for pensions and savings, the second for investment in property and 'big' purchases, the third for all band related expenses as regards tours, instruments etc. He has been so busy with his own album that he hasn't attended any financial meetings for the last tax year (April to April) he has been sent minutes of the meetings, it's up to him to read them.

As regards 'Management team' UB40 are their OWN management team, they made all their own decisions, and believe me, they didn't do anything they didn't want to!! It was Ali that f*cked up going to America for them, and the rest of the band weren't happy. How do I know this? My bro works at DEP International...........................
I don't understand investing in property when you're already rich, seems like a headache for money you'll never spend, investigating in property is something you do when you have a bit of money and you want to BECOME rich UB40 have lost out on a lot of cash over the years because a lot of their success was from covers, but they still must have made a good chunk (touring etc)

Oh, you think? Well sorry to burst your bubble, mate but I was there at DEP as a secretary it was *ME* that sent the emails and voice messages. He's on about a property deal he didn't know about, that was an old recording studio bought in the back of beyond in Barbados as a tax loss, and the maximum the law allowed was put into individual pension pots for each of them, except for Norman, who made his own arrangements through his father.
Not sure Ali or the band would be particularly thrilled with you posting all the details on here. You're an employee and shouldn't be gossiping about private business. Whatever your feelings are about Ali and the situation, your actions are very unprofessional and I hope they've terminated your employment.
