@Music201ful this sled does not usually have wheels we added them so it could be towed on the road but next time the chain goes and draw bar is going to be fitted
I remember the fitters at the local IH dealer cursing the Dutch built ones when they used to come in for endless warranty repairs. By coincidence Vicon used to build big square balers for MF and apparently they were nothing but trouble too. Strange really considering how good Vicon mowers etc. were.
your right the sledge is in scrap heaven but the bales didn't break being dragged and the sledge only died when he hit a gate post clever lad in he! but we got another one.
I had the pleasure of testing a pre-production 445D on our farm. D stood for "Deering" which was quite confusing really as the only difference between the 445 and the 445D was that the latter was fitted with Rasspe knotters whereas the previous version had IH knotters. (perhaps the Rasspe was based on a Deering design?) It was a lovely baler to use. they changed models again yet when IH moved baler manufacturing from Doncaster UK to Vicon's in Holland. Apparently, these were utter rubbish!

Looks like the dodgy sledge would drag and bust the bails draging them across the field. but Great video and if you could subscribe. Thanks
