The rear hub is referred to as a sprung hub. Not quite sure how it works but I’ve heard there a lot of springs inside. Also at the bottom of the timing case is the tell tail which has a little button that pops out when the oil pressure is up.

Yes it should have an SU carburetor. Magneto and dynamo. I wish I had never sol mine 1971 to run a T110 sidecar outfit.

With a hole in the seat tube, it should have an SU carb.
I don't think the carburetor was proper.
