    So, do you have any suggestions when you're in a pinch and have run out of tylose? I do not live anywhere near any stores that supply it.

    Do u use this edible glue to stick shapes to the cake once its covered in fondant or do u recommend something else?

    • @krazykoolcakes
      @krazykoolcakes  Před 10 lety

      We don't ever use edible glue to adhere decorations to cakes. Edible glue is mainly for decorations that are not dry. We usually royal ice hardened decorations to cakes.

    Hi. I made the edible glue using CMC powder and when taking the container out of the refrigerator the next day, I had a soft glob. What should it look like?

    • @krazykoolcakes
      @krazykoolcakes  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi Troy, Sometimes we also get a glob so you can stir it again with a toothpick and after doing that if it's still in globs you can add a few drops of water until you get a gel consistency after mixing it. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching! :)

    I make my glue like this.. but have found that my colour starts to bleed when using it. I do colour my own gumpaste with with americolor gel. Do you think perhaps that is my problem?

    • @krazykoolcakes
      @krazykoolcakes  Před 9 lety

      We use AmeriColor gel sometimes as well. It's inevitable however. Some colors do bleed a little so we just have to do a good job of cleaning up. :)
