Thanks so much for the info!! :) you guys are awesome!!
Thank you Michelle! :)
We bought ours at Hobby Lobby but you can use any little closed container. :)
Thank you! :)
So, do you have any suggestions when you're in a pinch and have run out of tylose? I do not live anywhere near any stores that supply it.
very helpful. love the videos :0)
How does it compare to the wilton brand?! Also so thrilled i came across this video because I’ve been wondering how to make edible glue
Thank you Morgan! Glad you found us. I've never used Wilton brand, but I can tell you that the one we use is awesome. Thanks for watching! :)
Is this glue works for dry fondant decorations?
thank u so much the video was so helpful 👍👍👏👏
Kaw Chikhi you’re very welcome! We’re glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching!
Can I use CMC instead of the Tylose?
I just got my first jar of tylose powder and it said you can make edible glue but no instructions on the jar. So now I know thank you so much
You're very welcome my friend! So glad you found this video. :)
I do not have access to Tylose powder but I bought GumTek from a craft store... can you use GumTek to make edible glue? I saw online where someone said I could add water to it........1/8 tsp. GumTek to 3tsps of water...can I do that and it work? Your opinion would mean alot
You're welcome! :)
Very helpful video... Any other thing we can use in place of tylose powder?
Glad to hear! You can use gum tracaganth, gum-tex, or gum arabic.
Hi Laura, could I use ty-tex gum to replace the tylose powder and have the same outcome for the glue and the gum paste if I add it to the fondant. Also, same amount?
Hi Shana! Yes, most definitely you can. :) Yes, same amount. :)
Thank you for this video. God bless.
You're very welcome! Thank you for watching and God bless you too! :)
Thank u!
Do u use this edible glue to stick shapes to the cake once its covered in fondant or do u recommend something else?
We don't ever use edible glue to adhere decorations to cakes. Edible glue is mainly for decorations that are not dry. We usually royal ice hardened decorations to cakes.
Thank you very much ❤️
You're very welcome! Thank you for watching! :)
How do you make your fondant? And which make at home fondant works best?
Hi Sweetpea, We don't make our fondant. It's all purchased. :)
Hi. I made the edible glue using CMC powder and when taking the container out of the refrigerator the next day, I had a soft glob. What should it look like?
Hi Troy, Sometimes we also get a glob so you can stir it again with a toothpick and after doing that if it's still in globs you can add a few drops of water until you get a gel consistency after mixing it. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching! :)
Hi I have a question how strong is the glue?
+Jose A Morales It's pretty strong. It holds gumpaste together perfectly. :)
can u use this for apply fake vampire fangs?
thetyranosorus sameee
thetyranosorus omg! That's exactly why I looked this up 😂
thetyranosorus same I looked this up to put vampire fangs on bc I don't have the glue it comes with
Erin Tooley bbnnjjjjnnbbbnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnbbnnnbbb
I want to eat it
Haha! You're welcome! :)
I 3 your cakes
I have a question, can this be used to apply vampire fangs?
Hi Enia! You can use this to add vampire fangs to a fondant or gumpaste vampire mouth.
He meant actually vampire fangs for your mouth
Can i use this to bind strawberries as topping to my cheesecake so it wont fall out during delivery? Thanks!
Thank you for your question Maria. No this won't work for that. This is only for fondant or gumpaste. I would recommend you try melted chocolate or royal icing. Hope that helps. :)
I make my glue like this.. but have found that my colour starts to bleed when using it. I do colour my own gumpaste with with americolor gel. Do you think perhaps that is my problem?
We use AmeriColor gel sometimes as well. It's inevitable however. Some colors do bleed a little so we just have to do a good job of cleaning up. :)
Do u store it overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature?
We store it in the fridge overnight, and every time we're not using it. Thanks for watching! :)
Thanks a lot adorable people!
You're very welcome beautiful Lucia! :) Thank you for watching!
It works best when the gumpaste is not dry.
I need to put a basketball post and backboard standing on a sheet cake, will the edible glue have enough strength to hold it together? Thanks.
Hi! Edible glue will not be strong enough for that. I recommend royal icing. Thanks for watching! :)
Hi I have a question could this product works on tree leafs like real tree leafs?
+Jose A Morales Hi Jose! This type of glue will only work on sugar products. :)
Cool
Thanks! :)
"Thank you!" he says. :) Haha!
Would this glue work for sticking an edible image to a royal icing cookie ?
Yes, it definitely would. Thank you for your question and thanks for watching! :)
Thanks god bless you to
Thank you Matilde! :0
You speak Spanish
oh good! I found this! :)
Can I use that to stick funfetti to fondant?
Hi Ma! No unfortunately no. Funfetti if hard and dry and the wet glue will not be strong enough to hold it. This glue is used to adhere moist on moist. Not dry on moist. Hope that helps! :)
@@krazykoolcakes Hi! I used it and it worked! Thanks, anyway 😊
You may just want to use water in that "emergency" situation but won't be as sturdy. :)
Hi.☺ can i used CMC ?
Hi Adil! Yes you certainly can. It works the same. :)
Krazy Kool Cakes & Designs
Thank u 😊
Can I use this immediately
It must be refrigerated overnight before use and then refrigerated any time you're not using it. Thanks for the question and for watching! :)
Thank you Sirmixalot
Can u use it to glue candy together
This edible glue can only be used to adhere moist pieces together. If the candy is already dry and hard, it will not work. Thank you for your question and for watching. :)
How long it last?
If you refrigerate it, it will last for months. :)
❤❤❤❤
:)
Can u do it without those powder
If you do it without tylose powder then it's just water....
is this sticky on the skin?
No it's not.
thank you! it just confuses me why the majority of CZcamsrs say it's sticky.
Can i use this to roll a blunt without spit?
You'd have to first explain what a blunt is. Not familiar with that.
like a cigar
But then you're smoking the glue... Not sure that's a good idea, lol!
Where can you find the little container?
Can i use this for ginger bread houses?
This type of glue is for things made of fondant and/or gumpaste. For gingerbread houses I would recommend you use royal icing.
laurapoopie
Thank you :)
Can you eat it
Yes, it is edible.
Sir mix a lot lol
LOL. :)
I’m going to eat glue
Awesome!
