I actually believe he peaked at rank 11, so if youre just looking at european players he actually got in the top 10 within a month. Pretty sick if you ask me.

@@alexdias4142 Thats possible. His playstyle warps the game and many people try to take advantage of that by camping him. Its also just possible that he got on a small loss streak and thats enough to shift you like 10+ ranks. As you can see in the video he just recently lost a few in a row which at least accounts for a couple of ranks.

But also It's his content. People want to see the 25 death Sion, greeding for a wave dying, and overall shit play so they can backseat and spam SO BAD in chat.

Even if you ignore the effect that has on top, anyone stream sniping can easily track the jungler. Additionally, he rarely duos. Finally, Baus is playing off-meta and in a style Riot has consistently attempted to remove from viability.
When streaming, Baus is arguably playing the hardest possibly variant of League: At the highest level, with every disadvantage possible.

It's nice to see Baus so excited to share what he's learned with us. A lot of high elo players are selfish and high ego and gatekeep important mechanics that newer players don't know.
There are a couple that sell coaching and stuff like that, but there's also a lot of free content for learning League out there. I watch Babus to see his unique take on the game, and also PekinWoof who does a good job explaining his thought process during the game.
Its not really gatekeeping so much as when a player thats gold for example asks what they can improve on, where do you even start? Those players simply either dont play enough or theyre toxic and choose not to improve by putting blame on factors outside of themselves. How many times are people caught thinking "im so unlucky my teams are always so bad". Its like really? You think riot has it out for joe schmoe and purposely handselects you to have worse teams?
@@OHTASISAN There's only so much you can achieve without guidance. There's a difference between refusing to learn the game like those players you talked about, and those who are lower elo but still need guidance. Baus said these players have good mechanics but bad macro. So a few lessons in macro could vastly improve the performance of someone who already has good mechanics. It's not about toxic people who think they know everything, it's about those who want advice and guidance from pros.
@@shprite781 I agree with that to a certain extent. The thing is, there's only so much a coach or mentor can do if the player doesn't put in that much. That's why any coach worth their salt won't pick up a player that vaguely "wants to improve". Otherwise it's a simple cash grab. It's so much work for very little gain for the average case. True coaching is tailored to the individual. Those that want to improve out of gold/plat simply need to put in the time. If you walk up to anyone and ask them to teach you your job, where do you even start? Do you know how to read/write? There are already plenty of resources out there for free for the general public and I daresay that those that couldn't find those weren't trying very hard to.

@@harshchitroda71 You never kite backwards as a Camille with a Sunderer that intends to fight against a Sion. You kite around the Sion model to make the Sion Q impossible to charge. Even if the Camille dies 1 for 1 because of the gold gap, it's always profitable for a Camille since she scales way better than a Sion
You do this a single time in any of your fights and it's a sign of extremely low confidence. A sign of mediocrity

Baus has changed me so much not only to a better league player but also to a better person. Good mentallity, perseverence and willpower, control of tilt and rage and so much more. (The fact that he had 270 at 20:25 mins, 16.5 cs per min and didnt even mentioned it is just crazy). I will die believing one thing: Baus is the best player in the world.
