something that my kids absolutely LOVED was our tradition of a book-a-day holiday countdown. I collected 24 xmas/winter-themed/other cute books from thrift shops,wrapped them up,stacked them by the tree,(or up higher when they were too little to not tear them all open at once) & every day they opened one & we read it together. A fun alternative/addition to chocolate countdown calendars.

Onion cutting hack. Put some wet paper towel infront of the onion when you’re cutting it. The juices from the onion gravitate towards moisture which is why they like eyes. The wet paper towel should absorb those onion juices

Not gonna lie I probably spend more money in gifts and get more stress in September than I do at Christmas. I can totally relate to the birthday haze, from the 13th to the 22nd of September I know someone with a birthday on each of those days (including myself, sharing the bday with Alfie) and I've been to 4 birthday parties last week alone PLUS organizing my own... I'm tiered. lol

I loved my daughter in overalls and dungarees but once she turned 2 and started potty training they were a no go.
Every year I book a pumpkin patch, fireworks display, a Santas grotto and this year a pantomime. I have a 3 and 5 year old. I love having these traditions and the photos each year, it’s just amazing having kids at this time of year ❤

I have a nearly 3 year old and every year we go to a pumpkin patch, we go see a firework display, lots of autumn walks to collect leaves. For Christmas we go to a light display, and go on the train to see Santa. We are excited we have his baby brother to join in this year.

I am the EXACT same way when it comes to cutting onions (or anything of that sort!) I’m SO sensitive! The only thing I’ve found that works is soaking a small towel and making sure it’s MOSTLY squeezed out and putting it on the cutting board. It attracts that stuff that makes our eyes burn and water! I hope this helps! ❤

Love the fall vlogs! I have the same issue with cutting onions (I learned the lighter your eyes, the more sensitive they are), so what I do is put a wet paper towel down and cut the onion on it. Onions are attracted to water.

I have a huge thing with cutting onions too! Trying putting a small piece under your tongue while you’re cutting it and it wont burn. Helps me SO much!

A friend told me cutting the root end of the onion is what releases the acids that react with our eyes. I avoid cutting that part and haven’t had a problem since!
Westfield is a village in East Sussex...... the entire village goes to town.... they also have charity pots as you walk round and they raise money every year..... it isn't like walking round a town centre it's a lot of houses that do there own things ! It's beautiful !

We love to go to the pumpkin patches and apple orchards, we have a local one with both in and it's so fun! They also have a few farm animals and delicious snacks!
