God I love the internet. This is so much more relevant than 90% of what they teach in universities.
What's your major
I love the internet as well. Universities are going to go bankrupt and collapse with their endowments by the end of the decade
@@akshajjois8908 I mean “bankrupt in a decade” is pretty optimistic given that enrollment hasn’t even started going down yet lol but yes longer term they’re screwed
Agree 1000%
Imagine bringing this up at Harvard
Instant classic! Balaji is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom! Thanks Allison and Foresight Institute for another incredible video!
For sure! Balaji is excellent!
this is pure knowledge getting injected straight into my brain. can't believe balaji has so many vids online with less than 20k views wtf haha
These things are going to age like fine wine and the views will come. It's early :)
Gonna go parabolic one day
Great talk. Allison is a great moderator and Balaji is brilliant as usual.
The flawed nature of dependence on network is stunning and makes me laugh!
The fact that this only has 12 thousand views just shows how early we are in the crypto revolution
Wow, so many cool tidbits. Anyone else INSANELY intrigued about the ideas mentioned here?
Incredible and unbelievably thought provoking
"you're angel investing in yourself" the 2021 playbook. Me riding this out in south side of chicago :P
This dude is very intelligent
Hands down!! One of the best lessons to hear on internet right now.
If you read the news all across, this lecture will help you make connects the dots better!
INSANE! when you first watch this your like holy crap
M
If you think this is good, listen to Tim Ferris’s interview with Balaji on podcasts or wherever you can!
@@annejamesreliancemortgages6683 I did that was mindblowing but if i remember it was 3 hours long took me like 5 days to get through
This is easier to digest. Tim Ferris unpacks it! I’ll listen again.

@@annejamesreliancemortgages6683 THank you will listen
Wow. Absolutely mind bending. This Thule of decentralized, constructed freedom is the natural structure of the west. It’s emotional to hear it described as a future possibility.
We should use Cryonics to keep Balaji with us for generations...
What fascinating concepts.
look into urbit
HOLY CRAP!
haha the q&a parts are always such a trip
Fantastic, thank you
Am i insane or did the "anonymous" founder of THORchain just out himself to balaji? at 1:16:10
lmao facts
Welcome To The Future ❤️
Not sure if I feel smarter or dumber.
Crazy enough to work...
View count too low
for sure
were early
That is okay

In the beginning, she mentioned chapters of a book. What book is she referring to?
Stateware has to be a thing
This is like watching The Superfriends, but for grown-ups.
yes!!! David D. Friedman
Can we all make a pact, right now, to try our best to start our crypto network state in Hawaii!!
Is HPZ token app is real or not please tell me
Democracy - vote with your ballot
Capitalism - vote with your wallet
Emigration - vote with your feet
🤝
love the hagelian dialectics!
it was going interesting, till the "Paradise recreation" part. Those who don't know history are condemned to repeat it. Glory belongs to God.
What about your HPZ Token great scammer?
forget about tribes we need factions
i would love to tele operate an asteroid mining robot someday lol.
Voting with my feet is not desirable as I like where I live and have lots of Family and Friends locally. The more you move the more expensive life becomes starting over each place. Things are the least cost now and if I ever needed anything plenty of people to call for help.
What if every subreddit was a state ?
Why did you delete the comments pointing to libertarian bias in these ideas?
1:01:32 RIP headphone users
we should do something about screens. i think blue light is a more serious threat than people say. No ones talking about it. love the digital, but people doing nothing but staring at screens constantly is bad, and the screens themselves are cheap and quite damaging. how many computer nerd have to wear glasses? how many with migraines? dry eye? many.
The speaker is spinning rosy fantasies.
boomers need to retire! its time!
