There were a couple of researchers who tried to debunk Dean's research by repeating it to get their own results but they ended up with the same results Dean did. So they blamed it on the research. That is downright hilarious. These are grown men.

I've always felt that the sixth sense is intellect and our intuition is the seventh sense. Most of our senses have an associated sensory organ and the brain is the "sensory organ" of our intellect because it's the most important part of our physical sensory apparatus. It's the part which takes all of the signals from all of the other sensory organs (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, skin) and multiplexes them into what we call "perception" - which is then overlaid onto our awareness (or higher awareness; higher self etc.). And in a way it partially blinds our awareness (the "veil of Maya") because the signal from the other six senses is much louder than our intuition; especially our thoughts and interpretations. But if you can quiet your five senses by quieting your mind then your mind begins to look for other sources of input and widens the aperture of your seventh sense allowing for more data to flow in. And the instant that happens the analytical mind wants to take over and throw it's own AOL (analytic overlay) or interpretation onto that perception... the raw data is always accurate but our interpretations of that raw data are usually flawed.

This act of quietening of mind, plus the detachment of awareness from the senses and intellect, so as to perceive reality AS IT IS and not as it's projected in the mind, is what we call "meditation", my friend! 😎😎😎
Don’t forget the heart and the gut. People who have heart-transplants can take on some of personality traits, habits and hobbies from the heart of the other person. Our heart’s field is beyond the physical body and our gut apparently contains more neurons than our brain.

Thank you so much. I learned to manifest about 8 years ago by accident . It was the result of a near death experience . I refined it slightly with my previous belief of all things being joined at the sub atomic level and honed it somewhat. The idea the practice drifted away from me. Fear also became an element as i realized manifesting does not differentiate between good/bad (however you want to label those items) and extreme caution/absolute clarity had to be used ). After blowing through a bunch of Targ Kant then finding you by accident via Strapp i am thrilled you speak in exact terms of my experiences and therefore a solid pathway back. So happy you exist and thank you.

He is one of the most clear headed talkers I've seen. I've seen distinguished neuroscientists, talk about stuff not even related to the subject, and they talk complete gibberish. Academia doesn't teach you how to think, only what to think about.

This Universal awareness is real. When I'm in a group of people in a living environment especially its as if I'm thinking of a thought and the group acts it out. It's a trip. What I realized was the thoughts I was having was the collective thoughts of the group. Interesting for sure.

Never heard that one. Dr. Radin and the Institute of Noetic Sciences conduct scientific research on psychic individuals.

I am long standing fan of Dean and he has helped open my thinking on this topic, not least due to his methodical and structured approach to get a better understanding. I would however challenge the relevance of the comparison between the base ball (top hitters 32%) and the telepathy experiments (32% = 7% above chance). The equivalent 'Chance' for a novice hitting the ball in baseball is probably a lot lower than 25% so the uplift in baseball is much greater. That said I have read all Dean's books and watch most of the stuff on CZcams and I have no doubt (given the thoroughness of the approach) that the telepathy experiment findings are sound and definitely worth investigating further. Um no. A six sigma result is actually six deviations from norm. Let us say we all bat or pitch or whatever. 90% will score within TWO standard deviations....then 90% of the remaining 10% will score within THREE deviations....and so on..... by the time you get to SIX sigma, you don't get Babe Ruth....you get friggin' Yoda, sir.

BIG fan of Dean Radin ! btw for anyone interested Bernardo Kastrup(2 PhD's mind you) makes thE VERY best arguments for a "modern monistic Idealism" of which I'm aware. Its worthy of serious investigation at the very least imo.

we appear to be cart for horse re. understanding of telepathy. The heart is found to be not a pump but a brake and 'ḿemory ' being de facto a massive wall against total 'always on' memory which would be a pest impossible to live with ------ two truths which go extinct following Hoffmanś model. Like memory telepathy --- the natural link --- is totally 'on' all the time but like the steel wall which prevents recall of a dream in any depth telepathy is ''firewalled'' on automatic in order to facilitate action born of individuated agency. Societies matriculate citizens to conform to the established power structure while spirituality and individual empowerment is counter culture with conditioning of preference to "the already known" and or collectively agreed upon as our basis. I admire dean I truly do but I think he started to believe that this shit made sense & matched up & now can’t see outside of connection dots & making pointless connections. Even if the coincidence makes sense to you it’s still a coincidence can you prove that there was any actual meaning behind it? No. It’s all just wishful thinking
Dean seemed pretty logical and rational during our off camera interview. He's looking at statistics/math that points to something greater than chance when tested. Correlation does not imply Causation. Speaking of statistics, Pharmaceutical companies get away with very misleading claims based on biased stats!

@@Notyourmanicpixiedreamgirl I don’t think it has to lead to anywhere or have meaning. It could just be a fabric of reality. Our perception may open up for a time to glimpse a quantum event. If you zoom out far enough we maybe floating in eternity. Reality is stranger than fiction.
so for 30 years of meditation you get 15 seconds of mystic experience. Doesnt seem like a great deal .

15 seconds is more than enough to make a huge difference to the way you relate to your existence. It's more likely that if you practice mediation for 30 years you will have a happier, healthier life due to the physical, mental & emotional benefits. It's quite likely you will also experience more than 15 seconds of a "mystic" experience.
Through mediation I have destroyed my "small self" as Dean Radin describes it many times over. It has changed my life.
@Marek Białkowski: Different things happen at different rates and are valued differently by different people -- why does that surprise you (?) An MD or PhD takes longer to achieve than a HS diploma. If you don't value an MD or PhD . . . it may seem to you a lot of effort for nothing.
