ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

This wave was DOA, and that’s not intended to be an indictment of the figures themselves or even the source material. It’s the timing. This wave was like taking a disco record that would have gone gold if it had been released in 1978 and trying to pitch it to record companies in 1981.
I don't want a disney plus Echo figure but I would really like a comic version.
Kingpin being too small is why I haven't bought one. Though I have seen some people porting that headsculpt on to the McFarlane DC Multiverse The Batman Penguin figure body & it doesn't look half bad.
& I'm pretty sure the Yelena Belova in the Puff Adder BAF wave was by Hasbro. Just sayin.

Well, I like the Goliath. It's got a certain generic charm. A space man, future soldier, maybe even a deep sea diver of some sort. It could be anything.
I like the Marvel Legends Nick Fury and Kingpin figures and I might get Agatha Harkness and she looks pretty cool in the MCU

The Kingpin is a bit smaller. Just how much smaller depends on if you're comparing him to the comic version or Vincent D'onofrio's version. If it's D'onofrio then it's just slightly smaller. The Yelena was disappointing to me because it wasn't as articulated as it could/should have been. Gamora was decent and the Agatha is pretty much the only one that didn't disappoint in some way. I got exactly what I was expecting: cool looking figure that posed like a brick... 🤣🤣🤣 Haven't gotten the Fury, Talos, or Goliath yet but I will eventually as they pop-up on sale at a suitable discount...
Gamora looks good but she barely holds her sword securely and not having a set of fisted hands is really annoying and I'm not surprised they're on clearance. Also Yelena just reminds me of the trunchbull from Matilda 🤷🏻
If he really had time, he could have parodied the final smash of Megaman or the sword guy. Agatha summoning a void then all of them one by one punch, shoot or blast him.

I'm the same boat as you, I got this wave simply because it was affordable, to me there is only Yelena that is a true disappointment, I forgive the Kingpin more than you, but nothing stands out, even the Hydra Stomper is a bit too small as you pointed out. But this wave effectively features at least 3 characters in suits, (arguably Agatha could be called a suit figure also) along with a poor catsuit costume. You are talking about a superhero line that only had 3 out of 7 super hero costumes. I do rank Goliath higher than you, as I love that look. I wanted the Hydra Stomper as I collect everything Captain America, but I might have passed if I had to pay full price.
I don’t like the character selection for this wave. It should’ve been Abomination or Gravik as the build a figure for this wave.

8.) Nick Fury (Articulation for the figure is horrible, the head sculpt looks fantastic and the aesthetics are okay, the only thing going for it are the guns and the removable hat)
7.) Warrior Gamora (I’m not a big fan of the articulation for the figure)
6.) Goliath (Pretty good mold but accessories do feel lackluster)

Pretty lackluster wave, 2023 is the year where I find myself enjoying retro carded waves more than build a figure waves. We still need Scarlet Scarab, Frog Man, Yellow suit Daredevil, Echo and Red Dagger.
This wave tbh makes other Disney+ waves like the Khonshu BAF wave and the Infinity Ultron BAF wave look good and a run for its money. Where as this wave makes itself look like a joke!
i cannot wait for hasbro to release the warriors three pack ( fandral, volstagg , hogun, with an upgraded siff figuree) pleasee jusst make that happenss cant wait to put them as a new addition to my thor shelvess,, pleasee hasbrroo with brand new warrior body sculptt

The first thing I will say is I feel for you about your Netflix Daredevil figure breaking. You broke it the same place where I broke my 2019 Avengers Endgame wave 3 updated Avengers 2012 movie Captain America figure in the right bicep area of the arm. Thankfully I was only using that figure as a substitute for my MCU Captain America until I get a Endgame Captain America figure. That Daredevil figure is gonna to be hard to get now it's up in price from $50 to $100 dollars I bet you we will get one when Daredevil born again Disney plus series comes out. I would not mine a Echo figure I enjoy the series not my favorite series that would have to be Loki series both season 1 and 2.
I request you go back to your old method of ranking. Seeing how you ranked a wave was my favorite part of the review, but now with them pre-arranged, it almost feels like an afterthought that you have to talk about the rankings
With all the random figures we've gotten, I'd really like to get an Eric Selvik and Darcy, they would just complete everything.

I would love a deluxe Kingpin maybe in a box set with echo. I hope Hasbro stays away from the Disney+ stuff. Maybe a Daredevil in his yellow suit. But for the love of god redo Kingpin Hasbro.

This wave is an easy pass for me, the only figure I kind of want is Gamora because I just like Guardians of the Galaxy a lot.. but I'm not interested on any, I don't even think the good ones look that good.
Yea I saved a lot of money in 2023 with all these bad waves haha
If we're talking Disney+ figures I wouldn't mind a Kahhori figure down the line.
Dang current mcu is so underwhelming
I get that people love these iterations, and I wish you all joy of it.
But to me, it is just more MCUseless - A very easy pass for me.
