The backblings are ghosts, these are our little companion that follows us wherever we go, in the lore the ghosts are the ones that bring guardians (players) back to life, every guardian has his own ghost, if the ghost dies, the guardian will not come back to life if he dies (obviously only in the lore) and the pickaxes are weapons that we actually can use.
I'm a Destiny Veteran, I've been playing since Year 1 Destiny 1, and even still Destiny 2 is quite the tall order when it comes to getting into it for the first time, but right now is probably the best time ever to hop in. All expansions are free to play for the next week, and a bonus starter set of gear is available that'll bring you up to power to start off the new season that started today. Also getting D2 on the Epic Games store will grant you the 30th Anniversary pack for free which is a huge steal. Also you nailed it with the book of spells on Ikora, it's right in line with the theme of Warlocks, they're known for their libraries and immense knowledge.

There were sparrow surfing glitches in Destiny in the past where you can make them stand on the sparrow when riding around. So with that knowledge, them standing on the sparrow glider in Fortnite can make sense.
I used to HATEEEE fortnite collabs because they were always MARVEL and being inserted into everying back in chapter 2, but now I love them, I love the variety and the type of collabs we’re getting are refreshing.
One bummer about the Lament pick axe is that in Destiny it's a chainsaw sword, so they really missed an opportunity to add the chainsaw noise and effect
If only you knew how relevant it was to mention leviathan… especially with the stranger’s back bling! Given its likely her fish is from neptune, and calus will be there in nightfall, it all adds up
If anyone wants a good shout for a weapon wrap to use with Ikora, Raz’ wrap, the Acolyte’s Curse is an absolutely inspired idea in my opinion. The purple and red match her perfectly and the runes fit her vibe as a Warlock

The reason investigate doesn’t work for exo stranger is because it’s not meant for her since she can’t wield the light like the other 2 so she doesn’t get a ghost which are essentially living beings made of light
I'm wondering if ikora's ghost would look good on matte black master chief, because ghosts kinda resemble guilty spark, the little robot that tries to kill you in halo (if you're a halo player you know what I mean). I've yet to try it out for myself, but I'm definitely going to try it.
destiny is a really fun game, in short, there’s 3 game modes, a pve, pvp, and one that’s a mix of the both, there’s also pve activities that are harder but give good loot, with that loot, you can get weapons that have very different variations and perks on each gun, and the armor you can get has different uses, such as some armor pieces give you strength, others give you a faster cool down on some of your abilities. It’s more complicated than that of course, but it’s an amazing overall game and it’s worth trying
I never wanted to play as zavala in destiny, the whole thing about destiny is that you are a guardian. That would be amazing to play as your character in Fortnite from destiny way better.
I really hope in the future we’ll get the Fortnite skins in destiny into Fortnite, the drift, omega, and black knight one. It prolly won’t happen but you can hope
As a former Destiny player.. I got the sparrow as I had some extra v bucks and loved the novelty of it. However, if Cayde was one of the selected skins to be added, I would have instantly bought it.

Destiny 2 is free to play and all expansions are available at the moment, get it on epic games and see for yourself if you'll like it. It's a lot but it's a fun game with friends
I’m getting sick of the surfing gliders like these. There are a few i can think of where it would be so much god damn better if you could straddle it like you would in whatever the cosmetic came from. Like this one, the Llamacorn, and Ghostriders bike. They would be so much cooler if you actually rode them instead of surfing them.

The Sword Impact is purple because in Destiny that Sword's elemental type is Void. Which is represented by the color purple.
