What is it abt me that would make me connect with someone who behaves like that? Why didn’t I just disregard them like I usually would rather than thinking they were worth any time or consideration? Of course I didn’t do anything I regret and I stopped the emotional connection when it appeared to be getting dangerous for me. I left in my head but my heart took so much longer to disconnect. I’ve realized that I will likely never make contact with this person again and I have to accept this. I believe this is the only way I will ever heal my broken heart. My new beginning is a promotion I’m waiting to hear abt. I feel deeply that someone else will be selected. It’s happened so many times in my recent past. I’m close to retirement so I’ll just stay put and work on personal goals until I retire. I will probably do a side hustle after I’ve achieved my goals.
