  • Is the trinity doctrine false? What does the Bible say about the trinity? Is the trinity pagan? There are many claims out there that the holy trinity is a false doctrine. Many say that the trinity is a pagan belief. Many have tried to have the trinity doctrine exposed as if it was not biblical and that the trinity doctrine is a conspiracy. There are also many that claim that the doctrine of the trinity is a true. Many support the belief that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all separate persons but are all one and all God.
What does the Bible say about the trinity? In this Bible study film, we will ask all the questions and figure everything out from the Bible's perspective.

The key to understanding the Trinity is to research the history behind the Trinity and how the doctrine of the trinity crept into the "Church".

Bro go learn Greek. When it says be baptized in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit it's literally listing them all as separate entities. That's obvious both grammatically and by how they speak to and of each other independently in every combination possible in scripture. Trinity wasn't injected. It was found. And it didn't have to be. It's right there.

@@Kunoichi139 The Trinity doctrine is not based on the plural of Elohim. Elohim means gods, as found in Genesis. The Trinity doctrine defines the Father as God, the Son as God, and the Holy Ghost as God, and yet not three Gods (Elohim), one God (EL). No scholars believe Elohim identifies the Triune God.

@Cynthia Pope Jesus was Jewish and was instructed in the faith and lead by GOD...That being said, they (Jews)...then and today, keep the Sabbath (Saturdays) holy.
Rev. 12:17 makes it clear that those who keep the COMMANDMENTS (the Big 10) of GOD, are called the Remnant...
Enter in at the straight gate...
Although the Popes added and subtracted days in a month, they did not change the 7 day week... Day 1 to Day 7... The seventh day is STILL the Sabbath that GOD instituted at creation.
Please don't walk away from the plain utterances of GOD'S WORD by following man's wisdom and phiosophy about the Gregorian calendar. Pray for GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT to guide you into all truth (John 16:7-12).
JESUS is coming soon and Kingdom Citizens who LOVE THE LORD with all their heart, mind and Soul will follow the king's commands, instructions and statues (John 14:15)[Commandments 1-4]
and their neighbor as themselves (Matt 19:19; John 3; John 4)[Commandments 5-10].
Prayerfully ask GOD, not your movements leaders, for wisdom. Ask GOD if you are offending HIM by not only NOT observing the Sabbath that HE instituted, but by telling others that they are wrong for observing it... If you are instructing them thru your words, then you are a watchman on the wall...
Why is that important (Ezekiel 33) explains who is held accountable if a person is lost...very solemn and sobering revelation from those who were inspired to write GOD'S instructions (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
We are told to be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove...
satan has sent his subtle, fallacious thinking to men who think they are wiser than GOD... that is darkness and not light.
I would rather stand solidly on the WORD of GOD than to place my understanding on the philosophical wisdom of man.
      Best wishes.

@@nathanielrossi9659 Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved? And if so, why did our Savior, nor the disciples, ever teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Why would Christians give credence to a council of men coming together to argue who God is (The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE), and thereby seek to define God? Can mankind define God? No, God reveals Himself to mankind. 1 John 5:7-8, The Johannine Comma is an interpolation according to Christian scholars (words added) to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is none. Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples, but the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name only, as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (published circa 316 CE) in his book, Matthew 28:19, that Christ actually said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus ever heard of the Trinity-at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499). Martin Luther is quoted in a sermon saying, "It is indeed true that the name 'Trinity' is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man" (The Sermons of Martin Luther, Vol. 3, p. 406, 1988). It is time that the false Trinity Doctrine cease to exist in Christianity! Catholics and Protestants agree that “Whoever will be saved: before all things, it is necessary to keep the Catholic faith… unless he keeps this faith whole, he will perish everlastingly...And the Catholic faith is this: we worship one God in Trinity” (Catholicism, p. 69, 1961). Protestant professor of Theology James White, states, “The Trinity doctrine is misunderstood as well as ignored. It is so misunderstood that a majority of Christians when asked, give incorrect and at times downright heretical definitions of the Trinity” (James White, The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). According to James White, around 75% of Christians, who think themselves to be Trinitarians, are actually Modalists. Modalism: One God who at different times represents Himself in three different modes of being: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, then why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which historically developed over 300 years after Christ? To say that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, when Christ never stipulated the doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation is the grossest form of legalism! The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation when Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, that many will actually stand condemned for believing in the Trinity according to the Tradition of men, and not of God. Christ warned us about teaching doctrines without one thus says the LORD! And He...said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:6-9). Christians do not need to believe in the Trinity in order to receive salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God! If Christians needed to believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, then it would be taught in the New Testament by our Lord and Savior, and it, the Trinity, was not taught in the New Testament. The Trinity is a useless Doctrine based solely on the misunderstanding of men. It is time for Christians to free themselves from the doctrines of men. The Son of God declared: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). YAH is the meaning of I AM. By this statement, Christ told the Jews that He is their God, the very God of Israel. Not to take this statement as true in that He, the Son of God, is lesser than His Father and God is tantamount to calling Him a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism.

I don't see it as a trinity but I see it clearly this way: God is one God. There's only one. Jesus is the embodiment of the word of God which is why he can take on many forms in the Old Testament:
Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
When Jesus said that he and his father are one. It'll make sense in this way. If he's the embodiment of the Word of God then they would have the same Spirit (the Holy Spirit) yet there is still one God.
Jesus is the only begotten because he came literally from the Father. Nothing human about it. God is infinitely able to do these amazing unorthodox things because he is far beyond us. Thank God for his Love. Continuing on:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Think about Jesus as God's Word. This isn't, ultimate spirit - Holy Spirit - and Jesus. Read these straight from the Bible..
John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
8:18 I am ONE that BEAR WITNESS of MYSELF, and the FATHER that sent me beareth witness of ME.
8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know ME, nor my Father: if ye had known ME, ye should have known my Father also.
(GOD'S SPEAKING DIRECTLY TO THEM JUST LIKE HE TALKS DIRECTLY TO US THROUGH HIS WORD)
8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: FOR I PROCEEDED FORTH AND CAME FROM GOD; NEITHER CAME I OF MYSELF, but HE SENT ME.
8:43 Why do ye not understand my SPEECH? even because ye cannot HEAR my WORD.
8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
***Meaning he is those words that came forth from God!***
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Giving a new law. Believe on my son (his Word) that he will save you if you believe his words and be transformed by Jesus's sacrifice to reconcile the world back to God (himself because Jesus the Word of God)
Let us? Make man? Read this:
Genesis 1:3 And God SAID, Let there be light: and there was light.
    This is what Jesus said:
Proverbs 8:27 When HE prepared the HEAVENS, I WAS THERE: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
    8:30 Then I was BY him, as ONE brought up with HIM: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
8:31 Rejoicing in the HABITABLE PART of his EARTH; and my delights were with the SONS of MEN .
8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
There are many more scriptures supporting my claim. I hope and pray this is some food for thought, God Bless all who relies daily on God's Word the one "spoken" of before he came. The scriptures are inspired by God right? Then... he literally spoke all this into existence. When the comforter came like Jesus said. He said in my name. That was God giving his Word. I hope people read this 😐 God Bless

Yes Jesus is The Word/Expression/Utter of God and Son of God. But He is not God, because God The Father has no beginning and Jesus has a beginning. Because He is "the beginning of the creation of God". All Paul's letters writes " God and Father" (Points out that He is God alone)(As Jesus said "the only true God"(John17:3)
Here is verses that say Jesus has a God and that is the Father.
2Corin1:3 "Blessed be *the God and Father OF* our Lord Jesus Christ, *the Father of mercies and God* of all comfort"
Rom15:6 " *the God and Father OF OUR* Lord Jesus Christ."
2Corin11:31 " *The God and Father OF* the Lord Jesus"
1Peter1:3 "Blessed be *the GOD AND FATHER OF OUR* Lord Jesus Christ.."
Revelation3:12 (Even in Heaven) "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of *MY GOD*, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of *MY GOD* , and the name of the city of *MY GOD* , the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from *My GOD*, and My new name."
Paul even said so far that we only have one God and that is The Father. He never said Jesus is God or Holy Spirt(third person). He said there is only one and that is The Father in 1Corin8:6.
If you read carefully in The whole Book of Revelation who the person or who they say "to Him who sits on the throne" and "to Him who lives forever and ever". This person is only The Father, read chapter 4:9. He is the Lord Almighty who was, is and is to come. If you can't see this well pray humbly that The Father open up your eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit of Jesus is showing and saying.
May Elohiym Our Father, and Adon Yahushua Hamashiach peace, grace and love be with you!❤️💓💕

this is exactly what gave us the trinity confusion, man's opinions and man's comprehension coupled with paganism, and Greek philosophy if you actually study the Bible and history. Yes Father, Son, and HS are all God but not a trinity. If there is anyone who knows who God is it'll be God Himself. If He says He is one, who are you to tell Him that He is not, you don't get to define who God is. The Godhead in Greek is theotes which means "divinity" not trinity, so again the trinity is no where in the Bible. Colossians 2:9 "the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus bodily"; not that Jesus is part of the Godhead but that the Godhead is in Him. Acts 20:28, Titus 2:13. When God says He is one, He literally means that He is one and that one God manifested in flesh (1 Timothy 3:16)
we don't have two creators we have one, we don't have to saviours we have one, we don't have to I Am's we have one I Am, we don't have two or three Alpha and Omega we have one.
      yet
Jesus is our creator (John 1:10
God is our Creator (Genesis 1:1
Jesus is our saviour (Luke 2:11
God is our saviour( Psalm 106:21
Jesus is the I Am( John 8:58
God is I Am( Exodus 3:14
Jesus is the Alpha Omega( Revelation 22:13
God is the Alpha Omega( Isaiah 41:4
God is Spirit( John4:24) and He is holy, so therefore Holy Spirit is another name for God, it's also another way of saying God's power. God's power is also called the Holy Spirit, and also the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9). But the Bible says that there is only one Spirit and that one Spirit dwells in us, not three spirits (Ephesians 4:4-6)
The trinity is manmade that was adopted by the church in 325 AD in the Council of Nicea

There is only one God and Jesus is His firstborn Son that means he was created and God created everything through Him God himself cannot be created. The Holy Spirit is also seperate from God. If they were one Jesus would not be subjected to the father and need to receive the Holy Spirit because He is already God. But he is Gods Son nowhere in the Bible will you find Jesus say He is God or his discipes say that He always refer himself to the Son of Man or The Son of God.

      @@1alwaysdreaming785 Jesus is God.
      Let me try explain
This is how I understand it
Let's look at the Holy Spirit
When we become Christian we receive The Holy Spirit
      Who is the Holy Spirit?
He is the Spirit of God
And He is His Own Person
Now how is it possible that that the Spirit of God. God Himself, can leave Heaven and populate the Christians on Earth? Does this mean it is not God?
No. You cannot separate the Spirit of God from God
Jesus's True Form, True Nature is the Spirit. That's why He was conceived of the Spirit, that's why He Transfigured in the Mountain
How do we become children of God? When we become Sealed by the Holy Spirit. When we Flesh beings receive His Spirit. Now Christ is a Spirit being that received a fleshly body . Its a vise versa situation
The Son is the Flesh part. Because God was found in the likeness of men. That is His Nature. It is not Flesh. We are Flesh. That's why Philippians 2:6-11 says, "Who though was in the Form of God, did not count equality with God a things to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a Cross . To humble yourself as God is to become His own creation. Even though He is much Higher.
      Colossians says 1:16
Says For Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him
Jesus knew no sin, yet He was baptized, yet He prayed. Why? We know He didn't have to but He did.
Just like taking on Human Form. He didn't have to but He did it and we know why
If you ask then How is it Possible that God was on Earth. Who then was in Heaven. Then I ask you. How is it possible that God is in Heaven yet His Spirit is in You?
Now because the Spirit is the True Form and Body and Nature of Christ. He is God.

Jesus is the Alpha Omega( Revelation 22:13
God is the Alpha Omega( Isaiah 41:4
God is Spirit( John4:24) and He is holy, so therefore Holy Spirit is another name for God, it's also another way of saying God's power. God's power is also called the Holy Spirit, and also the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9). But the Bible says that there is only one Spirit and that one Spirit dwells in us, not three spirits (Ephesians 4:4-6)

@@lucasmaagi What is the Trinity? The Trinity is this: The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods (Elohim), One God (EL or Eloah). The use of the Hebrew word “Elohim” (a plural) translated as God (singular) in the versions of the Bible specifically in Genesis 1:1 into other languages was never meant to demonstrate the Trinity and would be out of context to do so. Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be a Christian? Must one believe in the Trinity in order to be saved? And if so, why did our Savior and His disciples never teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Why would Christians three centuries later give credence to the councils of men seeking to define the deity of Christ in conjunction with the Father without revelation from God? In the history of Christianity, the first four ecumenical councils include the following: the First Council of Nicaea in 325, the First Council of Constantinople in 381, the Council of Ephesus in 431, the Council of Chalcedon in 451 were designed to argue over who God is without one thus says the LORD! If the doctrine of the Trinity is correct, then why did it take all these councils to finally decide and design the deity of Christ? From the beginning in the year 325 CE to the year 380 when it supposedly ended. Can mankind define who God is? No. Only God can reveal Himself to mankind. Accordingly, scholars agree that “Although early Christian theologians speculated in many ways on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit relationship, no one clearly and fully asserted the doctrine of the Trinity as explained...until around the end of the so-called Arian Controversy. Nonetheless, proponents of such theories always claim them to be in some sense founded on, or at least illustrated by, biblical texts” (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Dale Tuggy, 2020). In fact, the Trinitarians claim to base their definition of God can only be done by implication, as there is absolutely no explicit doctrine of the Trinity in the Bible. There are two seemingly explicit pillars for the Trinity in the New Testament, namely, Matthew 28:19 and 1 John 5:7-8. First, 1 John 5:7-8, known as The Johannine Comma, is an interpolation (words added) as acknowledged by Christian scholars, to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is no such doctrine of the Trinity. Second, Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion by Christian scholars, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples to baptize in the name of the Father. and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, however, the disciples were only baptized in the Savior’s name as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (as published circa 316 CE) in his book on early church history, Matthew 28:19, that Christ actually said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus {YAHSHUA} ever heard of the Trinity-at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, the question goes begging, why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which historically developed over 300 years after Christ? To say that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, when Christ never stipulated the doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation is the grossest form of legalism! The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation, and despite the fact that Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, and it becomes unthinkable to cast aside this doctrine based upon the traditions of men. Consequently, many could actually stand condemned for believing in the Trinity and teaching it according to the Tradition of men, and not of God. Christ warned us about teaching doctrines without one thus says the LORD! And He...said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He told them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:6-9). Christians do not need to believe in the Trinity in order to receive salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God! If Christians needed to believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, then it would have been taught in the New Testament by our Lord and Savior. Biblically and historically the Trinity was never taught as also evidenced in the New Testament. The Trinity is a useless Doctrine based solely on the misunderstanding and confusion of men. It is time for Christians to free themselves from the doctrines of men. The Son of God declared: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). YAH is the meaning of I AM. By this statement, Christ told the Jews that He is their God, the very God of Israel, which is why He claimed to be their only God to the glory of His God and Father. Not to take this statement made in John 8:58 as true in that He the Father is greater than He, the Son of God, is equivalent to calling Christ a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism. But doesn’t Elohim prove the Trinity, after all, it is plural? No. Elohim means Gods. The Trinity is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods [Elohim], One God [Eloah, or EL]. The true definition of Elohim is “the God of gods” (Deuteronomy 10:17).

Concerning the word Elohim in the Hebrew, the Hebrew operates a bit differently than English or even Greek in the fact that if a noun is plural but the verb is singular, then the noun will match the verb in number in its meaning. So the verb to create in Gen 1:1 is bara and bara is a singular verb, but Elohim is plural. Since bara is singular then Elohim is singular in meaing as well. The word Elohim doesn't always mean more than two Gods or more than two called God. In Exodus 7:1, God said he was going to make Moses as God (Elohim) to Pharaoh, but Moses was only one man. In Gen 1:26, the verb is plural and because it was plural, Elohim has a plural meaning. The Father was talking to the Son and Christ, himself, was involved in the creation according to John 1:3 and Col. 1:16. Now you asked "How can Jesus be God?" and you looked at John 1:1 for the fact that Christ is God, but how? Look to the original language, Greek! From a short study of that verse, you will discover that in Greek, a noun with a definite article like "the" almost acts like an adjective. It expresses quality or nature, whereas the first mention of God in the verse has a definite article before it. Which refers to THE GOD (ho Theon). Paul says that Christ was in the form of God. That word "form" is morphe, which is like shape or essence and the writer of Hebrews says he the Son was the expressed image of his person (God the Father in the context of Hebrews 1). Christ shares His Father's nature by virtue of being His Son. These are two things I wanted to share with you brother! Please study these things and obviously take not my words, but study to show thyself approved! God bless you, bro! If you want to check out more about what I was saying check out Pioneer Health and Missions here on CZcams! They have great, informative sermons on the Trinity!

Although I'm not fluent in hebrew or greek, the scriptures are clear as day if you keep them in context. The scriptures do not contradict themselves, men lack understanding. Thank you for your knowledge Yah bless.

@@cheverlyelliott5354 What is the Trinity? Why would Christians three centuries later give credence to the councils of men seeking to define the deity of Christ in conjunction with the Father without revelation from God. In the history of Christianity, the first four ecumenical councils include the following: the First Council of Nicaea in 325, the First Council of Constantinople in 381, the Council of Ephesus in 431, the Council of Chalcedon in 451 were designed to argue over who God is without one thus says the LORD! If the doctrine of the Trinity is correct, than why did it take all these councils to finally decide and design the deity of Christ? From the beginning in the year 325 CE to the year 380 when it supposedly ended. Can mankind define who God is? No. Only God can reveal Himself to mankind. Accordingly, scholars agree that, “Although early Christian theologians speculated in many ways on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit relationship, no one clearly and fully asserted the doctrine of the Trinity as explained...until around the end of the so-called Arian Controversy. Second, Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion by Christian scholars, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples to baptize in the name of the Father. and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, however, the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. 2, p. The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation, and this despite the fact that Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, that it becomes unthinkable to cast aside this doctrine base upon the traditions of men. Not to take this statement made in John 8:58 as true in that He the Father is greater than He, the Son of God, is tantamount to calling Christ a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism. But doesn’t Elohim prove the Trinity, after all, it is plural? No. Elohim means Gods. The Trinity is the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods [Elohim], One God [Eloah, or EL]. The true definition of Elohim is “the God of gods” (Deuteronomy 10:17).

*Why Can't Theologians Explain the Trinity Doctrine ?*
The doctrine of the Trinity states that “the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three gods but one God.”
    In other words, 1+1+1 = One !
When it comes to explaining how this can be, our best theologians cannot explain it.
It is declared as a mystery that cannot be explained and so we are told to just accept it.
The Trinity doctrine was not formalized until long after the Bible was completed and the apostles were long dead in their graves, and long after the man who introduced the word Trinity was dead and in his grave.
It took later theologians centuries to sort out what they believed and to formulate the belief in the Trinity !
The New Bible Dictionary says that “the formal doctrine of the Trinity was the result of several inadequate attempts to explain who and what the Christian God really is ...
To deal with these problems the Church Fathers met in [A.D.] 325 at the Council of Nicaea to set out an orthodox biblical definition concerning the divine identity.”
However, it wasn't until 381, “at the Council of Constantinople, [that] the divinity of the Spirit was affirmed.”
By no means are theologians' explanations of the Trinity doctrine clear.
Religious writer A.W. Tozer in his book The Knowledge of the Holy states that the Trinity is an “incomprehensible mystery” and that attempts to understand it “must remain forever futile.”
He admits that Churches, “without pretending to understand,” have nevertheless continued to teach this doctrine (1961, pp. 17, 18)
He then remarkably concludes, “The fact that it cannot be satisfactorily explained, instead of being against it, is in its favor.” (p. 23)
The New Unger's Bible Dictionary in its article on the Trinity concedes that the Trinitarian concept is humanly incomprehensible, “It is admitted by all who thoughtfully deal with this subject that the Scripture revelation here leads us into the presence of a deep mystery; and that all human attempts at expression are of necessity imperfect.”
    (1988, p. 1308)
Cyril Richardson, professor of Church history at New York's Union Theological Seminary, though a dedicated Trinitarian himself said this in his book, “My conclusion, then, about the doctrine of the Trinity is that it is an artificial construct ... It produces confusion rather than clarification; and while the problems with which it deals are real ones, the solutions it offers are not illuminating.
It has posed for many Christians dark and mysterious statements, which are ultimately meaningless, because it does not sufficiently discriminate in its use of terms.”
(The Doctrine of The Trinity, 1958, pp. 148-149)
He also admitted, “Much of the defense of the Trinity as a 'revealed' doctrine, is really an evasion of the objections that can be brought against it.” (p. 16)
A Dictionary of Religious Knowledge states regarding the Trinity, “Precisely what that doctrine is, or rather precisely how it is to be explained, Trinitarians are not agreed among themselves.”
    (Lyman Abbott, editor, 1885, “Trinitarians”)
    _________________________________________________
Why do even those who believe in the Trinity doctrine find it so difficult to explain ?
The answer is simple yet shocking.
It is because the Bible does not teach it !
One cannot prove or explain something from the Bible that is not Biblical.
The Bible is our only reliable source of divine revelation.
And the truth as we will see is that the Trinity concept simply is not part of God's revelation to mankind.
It is a doctrine of devils to lead people to the Lake of Fire (Second Death).

Had me engaged until the last 10-15 minutes when you describe the Holy Spirit as God, separate and distinct from the Father and the Son...I believe the Holy Spirit is the very spirit of Jesus Christ. I am still studying this and will reserve a final statement on this, but I believe you're being mislead and misleading others, brother. Here's my reasoning....when the Catholic Catechism states that "The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life" you have to agree that this is from the very mouth of the dragon. But all that most Christian denominations do is try to explain it differently rather than rejecting that poisonous fruit of the poisonous tree and standing specifically on what the Word says...I think some of the statements that you've made about the Holy Spirit are a stretch from scripture. Dangerous ground....I love your teaching and your gentle way of moving through scripture, I said this in my facebook message earlier. But I have a distinct sense that you're not on track with this teaching. May God forgive me if I'm wrong

Having seen your videos for the first time today, I am grateful. I do not know the origins of the words "Trinity", or "Triune" but as there still seems to be some paganistic origin to both words, as my brief research has shown so far, I think it safe to avoid them and use the word "Godhead" instead. Three distinct Beings who function as one in the context of their love, character and purpose. Just as an earthly government or parliament is one organization in function but comprising ]individuals who are naturally distinct and separate from each other.

Deuteronomy 6 the Shema, the verse which Jesus quoted when asked what the greatest commandment was. The word "one" in Hebrew is echad this explains the triune nature of the one God.
Just as God said the two shall become one flesh when talking about husbands and wives, the union of two people becoming one "unit" if you will, is another portrait of the triune nature of One God.

@@viviennebaptiste Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved?

      Hello SDR Media,
You said above that "the Father plays the role of all three". Thats also not biblcal: it destroys the personality of Christ.
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God not God, the Father. They are two distinct persons.
Christ was "begotten of the Father" John 1:14
Begotten - when something comes out of another substance or thing (the ultimate or original source) existing before it.
Christ can be traced to the Father, an eternal source with no beginning. That is why Jesus is called the Begotten Son of God. He has the nature of His Father by right of inheritance.
Philippians 2:6-7 Who, being in the form of God(Begotten Son), thought it not robbery to be equal with God(Father):
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:(Son of Man)"
Christ pre existed His birth in Bethlehem as the only begotten Son of God.
God sent His Son down from heaven and he was made in the likness of Man(Son of Man(Adam))

Your definition of the Trinity is off. What you are describing I believe is called modalism, which is heresy. Trinitarians believe individual personhood of God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.

You are doing some really great work, but don’t be deceived, be misled or support a false teaching. I write only in spirit and truth as the Spirit led me here today. (Note: your vid from Babylon to America inspired me to seek the truth last year).
Background, I used to be a Roman Catholic for 53 years. My father was a deacon in the RCC and I was taught to believe the Trinity and did wholeheartedly for years. Then last year, I came broken before God and he revealed the truth only found in His word to me. I don’t belong or claim any organized religious group. I only believe in the truth, God’s word as you will see.
The Trinity doctrine is a belief that there is One God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (co-eternal, triune God). For many, the Trinity is controversial as many Christians admit they don't understand it (a mystery), while many more Christians don't understand it, as it is so confusing, but think they do. Does God want us to be confused about worshiping him? The Bible teaches us the truth and something completely different than the false doctrine of the Trinity.
1 Corinthians 14:33 teaches us: 33 For God is NOT the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints”. God wants you to make sure you are worshiping the one true God and His son Jesus Christ who are the godhead. They alone are eternal life.
Did Jesus teach that God is a Trinity? Absolutely not!
What did Jesus actually say and teach us about the godhead using his own words in John 10:30? Jesus said,
“The Father and I are one”.
You explained this very well. Now, where is the Holy Spirit in that sentence? How could Jesus diss the Holy Spirit if it were in fact a part of the godhead? Did Jesus forget to include it? It would be highly unlikely Jesus could miss something as important of something "claimed" to be part of his own being or the godhead. Now John 10:30 is just one verse, but as we continue to read the Bible, Jesus keeps saying it is only he and the Father throughout the gospels when referring to the godhead. Jesus proclaims in John 10:30 there are only 2 beings in the godhead not 3.
It is very clear and simple, but the sad part is most won't take Christ at his word and need more proof.
If you go to all the epistles of Paul, the letter of James, 2 Peter, 2 John and Jude in the New Testament, why do they exclude the Holy Spirit in their greetings? Did they believe the Holy Spirit was part of the godhead? Obviously not as the Trinity was NOT a teaching of Christ and clearly not part of the godhead. Again, how could this be overlooked if it was?
If you still have doubts, Jesus makes it ABSOLUTELY clear without a shadow of a doubt who and what the godhead is in this next verse when he is praying to the Father in the garden of Gethsemane just before his death as it is written in John 17:3 as Jesus said:
“And eternal life means to know you, the only true God and to know Jesus Christ, whom you have sent”.
Again, where is the Holy Spirit in that verse? Nowhere! Jesus even refers to himself in the 3rd person that there are only two separate beings in the godhead (not triune or co-eternal). Just as it is written in John 1:1-5 as it explains the godhead again for it is written:
1 In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 From the very beginning the Word was with God. 3 Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. 4 The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.
Again, where is the Holy Spirit in those verses if it is part of the godhead?
Simply because the Holy Spirit is NOT a person, but the power/gift of God as the Lord made it clear in the scriptures that His power and the witnesses of Christ are the holy angels clearly presented in Hebrews chapter 1 that explains the deity of Christ and what the angels are. In Hebrews 1:7 and 1:14 it is written:
7 But about the angels God said, “God makes his angels WINDS, and his servants FLAMES OF FIRE.”
14 What are the angels, then? They are SPIRITS who serve God and are SENT by him to HELP those who are to receive salvation.
Note what Jesus says in John 14:16 for it is written:
“16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another HELPER, who will stay with you forever”.
This description of the angels in Hebrews 1:7 and 1:14 clearly depicts who and what the Holy Spirit is! We will see this again during the Pentecost in Acts 2:2-3 for it is written:
2 Suddenly there was a noise from the sky which sounded like a strong WIND blowing, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then they saw what looked like TONGUES OF FIRE which spread out and touched each person there”.
Paul confirms this yet again in 1 Timothy 5:21 as it is written:
21 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the holy ANGELS, I solemnly call upon you to obey these instructions without showing any prejudice or favor to anyone in anything you do”.
Paul explains the godhead again in 1 Corinthians 8:6-7 as it is written:
6 yet there is for us ONLY ONE God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is ONLY ONE Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth”. (Paul explains it spot on right here).
Paul called out anyone who thinks there is anything more than God the Father and Jesus as the godhead. How can anyone even suggest anything else?
And again in 1 Corinthians 11:3 for it is written:
3 But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God is supreme over Christ”. Where is the Holy Spirit in the godhead here? Nowhere!
And again in 1 Corinthians 15:24 for it is written:
24 Then the end will come; Christ will overcome all spiritual rulers, authorities, and powers, and will hand over the Kingdom to God the Father. 25 For Christ must rule until God defeats all enemies and puts them under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be defeated will be death. 27 For the scripture says, “God put all things under his feet.” It is clear, of course, that the words “all things” do not include God himself, who puts all things under Christ. 28 But when all things have been placed under Christ's rule, then he himself, the Son, will place himself under God, who placed all things under him; and God will rule completely over all”.
Where is the Holy Spirit in these verses? Scriptures clearly teach that there are only 2 members of the godhead and not 3. I can keep going on and on with the verses.
As it is written in Psalm 33: “By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, and ALL the HOST of them by the BREATH of his mouth”. (KJV) Again, the angels or “holy spirits”.
As it is written in Revelation 22 again:
6 “And he said unto me, these sayings are faithful and true; and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his ANGEL to shew unto his servants the things which must be done shortly”.
Jesus himself says it again in Revelation 22:16:
“I Jesus have sent mine ANGEL to TESTIFY unto you these things in the churches”.
The angel of the Lord told John twice, don’t bow down to me (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9). The holy spirits (or collectively Holy Spirit). They are clearly not the godhead but the “power” of God. Who is doing all of God's work in the Revelation? The power of God, his holy angels/spirits.
Again in John 17:3 the Lord has made it perfectly clear who the godhead is. He is not the god of confusion and wants us to know who he is and to worship him in truth and spirit.
If we just want to use plain of fashioned reading and comprehension along with basic math and logic, the truth of the matter is quite simple as it is written in Revelation 22:1 & 3 in reference to the Temple in the new Jerusalem:
“And he shewed me out of the throne of God and of the Lamb”.
“And there shall be no more curse; but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;”.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m reading and adding up only 2 in both verses.
The apostle John spells it out for us very clearly as well as it is written in 1 John 5:20-21
20 We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with the true God-in union with his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and this is eternal life.21 My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!
For those who have ears listen and for those who have eyes see.
If you are led by the power of God’s Spirit, you know what is written here is the truth and not an opinion. God’s word is the truth (John 17:17) and no lie can ever come from it.
To God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be the glory! Amen

@@giedrevaiciene4677 Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved?

I think this is exactly why God said the most important law of God is that God is One. In the old testament, he said, "I Am." Jesus also said, "I Am." In Matthew 22:45 and Luke 20:44, he tells us that he was the Lord that David spoke of... David was speaking to his Father.... Isaiah tells us that he is telling us before he comes Who He Is.... So that when he comes, we will know that He is God.... The old testament was all about God the Father... and Jesus claims to be that God. ONE. The Trinity is deceptive and confusing.

    Here it is!
    [Old testament]
    - God the Son: protector of God's people Israel. Any interaction by any human with sin & "God" is seen as Yahweh (which is Jesus).
    - God the Holy Spirit the guide. So He could be the pillar of fire & cloud while wondering the wilderness? (Some would say too that the cloud is Jesus with his angel. Bible did not mention of it though)
What is God? He is our creator. The spirit of God (aka the Holy Spirit) is the very first thing we are aquainted with in the creation story. Therefore, very easily He is also part of the Elohim.
    - God the Father said how things are to be done & God the Son did it for Him. Due to the presence of sin, there is no real contact that humans can have with God the Father (He is too pure that no one that has sin can bare His presence)
[New testament] (let's go at the time Jesus has returned to God the Father & started His priestly duties)
    - God the Holy Spirit is given to all that follow God the Father whole heartedly. He guides the way, reminder of the testimony of Jesus & helps disciples stay in a state of faithful life. He has His own thoughts becuase He is the grammar checker of our prayers to be inclined of the promises of God. He has the notion to keep staying or leave when we have "deaf-ears" to His pleading guidance. (Remember also there was lightning when the dove-like spirit came when Jesus just finished His baptism)
    - God the Son is always ready to hear & forgive those who have truely confessed sins.
    - God the Father just can't wait for the day He can rescue His faithful followers.
[Revelation] (just that one part of symbolism at Rev 4:3, 5, 5:5-7)
Rev 4:3 symbolism of God the Father
Rev 4:5 symbolism of God the Holy Spirit
Rev 5:5-7 symbolism of Jesus & how He is being praised for His work of salvation (re-opened a link for humanity to someday reach God the Father's presence)
[At the day of the LORD]
    - Jesus is the one that will fight the 1st beast & its army
    - God the Father gathers the faithful
    - Holy Spirit (not actually recorded what He is doing.) Most likely being an eye & ears of still alive faithful people, commanding them while they fight along side Jesus the Michael (aka one of chief commander of angels)
*Interlude: 1000 years in heaven & Lake of Fire*
[New Heaven & New Earth] This is too farfetched for my own mind... Who will be sitting at the thrown, who is our high priest & what is the purpose of the Holy Spirit? (when suppose to be "sin will not corrupt anyone's mind ever again?!")
Or is it that all three will make sure sin will never again resurface. That even at the thought process, each individual will just be reminded what sin have done (scare tactic to its core)
But im only a human being... What i say is only a commentary. It is not in anyway against the bible. But... Please note, the bible is still the best place for understanding.

This was deleted (maybe attila did not like it ? Hmmm) recommenting this here now:
A married couple is considered as one in the eyes of God. A man & his wife is a unit that "should be" thinking & acting as one body. It covered the weakness of each other by the strength of one another. The hope of each one is fulfilled & care is bestowed each day. Together, they procreate life (a zygote allowed to be made and a fetus grows with the wisdom of God)
That is why a marriage is so important in the eyes of God.
Put that into prospective as God is one. Not mathematically... But they are socially as one. They think & work as one. Each has it's own work to fulfill in taking care of their creation. Each is present in the history of humanity. Each is needed constantly by human beings.
To make it simple... God could be like a surname. Then, each one has its own name & titles (their duties):
      - God the Father is said to be Elohim. The one seated at the throne in Heaven. No one has seen Him and lived after it (unless in visions & purified by a sareph). His commands are true & His ways are just. His promises last forever.
      - God the Son, He wants to be called Yahweh: He is, that He is. The words of His Father comes to life by His actions. He is a mirror of Him & captures His glory too: love for humanity. To the extent, He did it all just so we have a chance to escape the lake of fire. He is "one of the" commander in chief of ALL angels. Biblically known title as Michael (guess who are the others? God of course! Which has two other life forms: Elohim & Holy Spirit)
      - God the Holy Spirit is the great comforter, the ultimate guide into our life & reminder of info within the bible. He shows the way to Jesus' testimonial works (which only points His Fathers caring love).

He is god how many times he proved it in THE GOSPEL OF JOHN . . read and understand this 👇
Did Jesus say He was God? Jesus claimed equality with the God the Father. "Jesus said to them, 'My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.' For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God" (John 5:17-18).
"Then Jesus, still teaching in the temple courts, cried out, 'Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. I am not here on my own, but he who sent me is true. You do not know him, but I know him because I am from him and he sent me'" (John 7:28-29).
"Then they asked him, 'Where is your father?' 'You do not know me or my Father,' Jesus replied. 'If you knew me, you would know my Father also'" (John 8:19) "'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I am!'" (John 8:58). "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).
Therefore the Jews certainly understood that Jesus was claiming to be God and they sought to kill Him because of it. "'What about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, "I am God's Son"? Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.' Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp." (John 10:36-39). This is just one incident where the Jewish authority sought to take Jesus or to stone Him and He escaped out of their hands because His time had not yet come (John 8:20).

Pray for discernment of the information you receive as well as to sofen your heart, open your eyes and ears to the truth and to give you strength to acknowledge and accept the truth if it be different from your own beliefs and traditions. Try not to get hung up on this too much. When you lay with a man you become one according to the Bible but it "appears" there is a clear difference that you are still 2 separate beings right? Well when you have children they are the proof of your unity into oneness. You (your DNA) your husband (your husband dna) plus the breath of God = 1 child. You all have become "one". When your children have children they are still "one". Understand it may not be referring just to one physical but also spiritually (as in we share the same ideas, if we all agree that abortion is killing a life, we all come into an agreement (oneness) that this is true, we are one in our thoughts and behaviors and beliefs)
There are many scriptures that answer your question. But here’s a few to go over.
1st you need to understand Jesus was with God from before the world was made, from the beginning, before he had a physical body.
      John 1:1-4 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 8:57-58 [58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
      John 17:5 KJV
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was
      John 17:22,24 KJV
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: [24] Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
      Genesis 22:18 KJV
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
      Genesis 49:10-12
Exodus 23:20-21 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. [21] Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.
      Deuteronomy 18:18-22 KJV
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.. [20] But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. [21] And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? [22] When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord , if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
      John 10:25-38 KJV
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. [26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. [33] The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. [34] Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? [35] If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; [36] Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? [37] If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. [38] But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
      John 12:50 KJV
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
      John 5:3,39
. [39] Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Then these are some that go into Him and God being one
      Matthew 10:40
      John 5:46 KJV
For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
      John 14:9-11 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then , Shew us the Father? [10] Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. [11] Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
      John 14:20-21 KJV
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
      John 15:4 KJV
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
      John 16:28 KJV
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
      .
      John 17:21-23 KJVl
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved?

@@_iamoracle What is the Trinity? Second, Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion by Christian scholars, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples to baptize in the name of the Father. and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, however, the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation, and this despite the fact that Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, that it becomes unthinkable to cast aside this doctrine base upon the traditions of men.

1 John 5:7-8, The Johannine Comma is an interpolation (words added) to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is none. Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion, a commandment given by Christ to the disciples, but the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name only, as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (published circa 316 CE) in his book, Matthew 28:19, that Christ said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus ever heard of the Trinity--at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. Catholics and Protestants agree that “Whoever will be saved: before all things, it is necessary the Catholic faith… unless he keeps this faith whole, he will perish everlastingly...And the Catholic faith is this: we worship one God in Trinity” (Catholicism, p. 69, 1961). Protestant professor of Theology James White, states, “The Trinity doctrine is misunderstood as well as ignored. It is so misunderstood that a majority of Christians when asked, give incorrect and at times downright heretical definitions of the Trinity” (James White, The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, then why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which is historically over 300 years after Christ? This is the grossest form of legalism putting the Trinity Doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation when Christ and the apostles never did. The Trinity is a man-made doctrine that is false.

Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved? And if so, why did our Savior, nor the disciples, ever teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Why would Christians give credence to a council of men coming together to argue who God is (The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE), and thereby seek to define God? Can mankind define God? No, God reveals Himself to mankind. 1 John 5:7-8, The Johannine Comma is an interpolation according to Christian scholars (words added) to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is none. Jesus Christ was given full authority as one over all mankind by GOD ALMIGHTY as was the Holy Spirit, by vertue of their unblemished holiness.( That in the human sense they are separate entities).
That's right Jesus knew no sin, but like it is well understood that a child learns much of his behavior by the example of his father, so when Jesus said why do you call me good there is only one that is good, that is GOD in heaven, so in that statment Jesus Christ was teaching all mankind the extremely important vertue of humility, that is to remain humbel before the Lord GOD ALMIGHTY. And never to forget that Jesus was sent here for mankind by GOD ALMIGHTY to defeat death in sin and eternal damnation.

An atom can be in two different places at the same time! I didn't understand everything I read because I didn't even make Grammar school LOL!!!!
I started to think that God is the No. 1 scientist I also listened to John Kostic lessons in the Hebrew language and he said the word for God indicates a complex unity. I decided that maybe we humans worry too much about this issue and maybe we should remember that God is able to do so many things that our brain is unable to understand at this time, maybe it is best to leave this in the very capable hands of God!!!!

This topic is still driving me crazy cuz of all of the MANY scriptures in the Tanach that tell us that Yehovah alone is God, and our savior ... yet it feels like it telescopes into the future Messiah having the same traits. The fellowship I go to is splitting over this issue, as we speak.
Yeshua had 100 free will. He could have sinned if he chose to, but he never chose to sin. He did what was right until the end, no matter what it cost him. He had no unfair advantage over us. He showed us how to relate to Yehovah, our Father, and to the Holy Spirit. He is our example and our mentor. These are reasons that I want so much to live well ... to thank him for all he's done for me/for us.

So much error in this video and sadly many are being deceived. I will just pick up a few points for now.
Around the 49 minute mark the speaker says that the Holy Spirit is not Christ.
Wow. The Bible and Sister White confirm who the spirit is. It's the Spirit OF God that Christ received from the Father in Acts 2:33-34
Sister White makes it even clearer when she said 'We Want the HOLY Spirit, which IS Jesus Christ' Lt 66 1894
She also on many occasion tells us who our comforter is 'This refers to the omnipresence of the Spirit of Christ, called the Comforter' Ltr 7 1891
The bible also tells us who our comforter is. In John 14:18 Christ says 'I will not leave you comfortless, I WILL COM TO YOU'. The disciples understood it when they asked 'How is it that YOU will manifest YOURSELF to us?'
1 John 2:1 confirms this when it uses the same word 'parakletos' that is translated in John 14-16 as 'Comforter'.
Here it is translated as Advocate. And who does it say our parakletos is? Yep, Jesus Christ the righteous!
That's pretty clear brothers and sisters.
Please don't be deceived by this video. Study the bible in the fullest.
One last thing. I don't think I heard the speaker address the question of what is the name of the Holy Spirit (that was asked at the start). Forgive me if I missed his answer. But it's a very good question.
Does the Holy Spirit have a name? Because a spirit that is holy is a holy spirit. It is describing that spirit. It is NOT a name.
    Blessings to all.

End-Time Truths so according to you the Father and Holy-Spirit are not names. The Father is only a title like king, president...
The Only and Real Name is Jesus?
Or Yahushua which means _the LORD_ (יהוה) is Savior in hebrew.
So that makes One Spirit=One God because GOD IS SPIRIT. The Holy Spirit is Only the Spirit of Jesus, or we can say Also the Spirit of God.
Indeed there is Only ONE Spirit who is Holy, the Spirit of the LORD.
      Am I right?

We born again Christians quote from the Holy inspired Word not anyone else.
The Holy Spirit is also called the Spirit of Christ; the Spirit of Jesus; the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Interesting Jesus said when He would return to heaven He would send the comforter or helper or the Spirit. Then in another place in John He says the Father will send the Spirit. Both are coequal. Scripture says the Holy Spirit inspired the old and New Testament yet the names for the Spirit l gave above are in the NT about how the prophets were ‘carried along’ or inspired by the Spirit of Christ, etc. Jesus is coequal. The trinity works as one being but has like the Spirit different offices, but are of one nature and are coequal.
      Man
      Spirit is man
      Soul is man
Body is the same man or woman.See l Thess.5:20 Soul, and spirit in a person can be divided they are similar, but not the same. Heb.4:12
We call John or Mary’s person or body by their name. If you saw their soul same or spirit. So man is a compound or clllective noun. One being three enities as per I Thess.5:20
Man is made in the image and likeness of Elohim pl. or God. Gen.1:26-7. One being three persons like man. Just as each entity in man can be called human or man so can the trinity be addressed as God. That’s a synecdoche or some for the all. This figure of speech synecdoche is used many times in scripture.

The End Times, trying to reach "subscriber" by "blaming" others right?
you just say "WOW!" because he said Jesus IS NOT the Holy Spirit?
then you don't believe when Jesus said: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you ANOTHER Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;?" (John 14:16)
Jesus didn't say He shall give you "ME",...
you don't believe when Jesus said: "Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send HIM unto you.?" (John 16:7)
Jesus didn't say I will send "ME" unto you...
Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are "united" in ONE God. So the work of the Holy Spirit IS the work of Jesus & the Father. You may say the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus because They are united, BUT different Persons.
Just like when the disciples saw Jesus, the had seen the Father (John 14:9) because They are united in one God, BUT They are different Persons.

God often uses nature to explain heavenly things.
For this example you have to ask yourself well why, in marriage, God sees two individuals as one flesh. How is this possible? It is a spiritual state of two individuals who are coequal and in agreement. That’s another reason why divorce is wrong.
So in essence that is what God and Jesus is. They are individuals but one God and yet the Holy Spirit is apart of that. I think these are difficult things that we’ll learn in heaven.

    • @nb3500
      @nb3500 Před 6 lety +1

Michael Gonzales That still makes both the man and the women in marriage two seperate humans. The word "God" does not mean a community of persons. And if you think it does then the proper term would be "pantheon."

    • @michaelgonzales1365
      @michaelgonzales1365 Před 6 lety

So are you calling Jesus a liar when He says the two become one flesh? And follows with whatever God joins together let no man separate.
      John 10:30
I and the Father are one
      John 8:58
Before Abraham was I AM (only God is called the I AM)
      Exodus 3:13-15
      God calls Himself I AM
It isn't a pantheon. That is an ignorant reply. They are ONE, just as God decrees a man and woman should be. Like Eve from Adam, they were literally from one flesh yet two persons.

    • @nb3500
      @nb3500 Před 6 lety

Michael Gonzales No, what the Bible means by two becoming one flesh has to do with aspect of marriage.
The Bible interprets for you what Jesus meant by he and his Father being one. In John 17:11, 21 and 22, Jesus prayed to God that his followers would be “one” as he and his Father were “one.” The context of John 10:30 shows conclusively that Jesus was referring to the fact that he had the same purpose as God did. Jesus was speaking about his ability to keep the “sheep,” the believers, who came to him. He said that no one could take them out of his hand and that no one could take them out of his Father’s hand. Then he said that he and the Father were “one,” i.e., had one purpose, which was to keep and protect the sheep.
Although I don't deny Christ's divinity, John 8:58 has absolutely nothing to do with the notion that Jesus prexisted his birth. The context of that verse is that Jesus is telling the Jews that if they believe that he is the one (the Messiah) that they will never die (gain eternal life). He then continues to say that Abraham *foresaw* his day (verse 56). The Jews then asked him what he meant by that. Jesus replied by saying that before Abraham was, I am [the Messiah]. This fits in with 1 Peter 1:20 which says that Christ was foreknown [by God] before the foundation of the world. Everything was created with Jesus in mind-"For in him [Jesus] were all things created..."(Col 1:16). The phrase "I am" is translated from the Greek phrase "ego eimi" which is used by people all throughout Scripture. At the Last Supper, the disciples were trying to find out who would deny the Christ. They said, literally, “Not I am, Lord” (Matt. 26:22 and 25). The phrase “I am” also occurs many other times in the New Testament, and is often translated as “I am he” or some equivalent (“I am he”-Mark 13:6; Luke 21:8; John 13:19; 18:5, 6 and 8. “It is I”-Matt. 14:27; Mark 6:50; John 6:20. “I am the one I claim to be”-John 8:24 and 28.).
"It isn't a pantheon. That is an ignorant reply."
Well that is literally what you are implying. You just said that they are one like a man and a women are in marriage but like I said before all that has to do with in the fact that they are one in the multiple aspects of marriage. You won't deny the fact that one man and one women are not one human but they are in fact two humans. So according to your own admission the doctrine of the trinity advocates multiple gods.
To say that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God yet they are one God is absolutely an absurd statement. It's no better than saying this is a chair, here is another chair, and that's also a chair, but it's really one chair. So I think for trinitarians "pantheon" is definitely the more appropriate word.

      King James
I don’t understand your view point at all. You say you don’t deny Christ’s divinity, yet you hurl accusations of my view being a pantheon (which has been thoroughly debunked by scholars far above my pay grade).
If you can, what is your “truth”.

    • @nb3500
      @nb3500 Před 6 lety

Michael Gonzales Well the truth is that there is no greater foe to the doctrine of the trinity than the Bible and I'll be explaining that here. And before you ask, yes, I copied/pasted this long argument from my notes. So here you go...
If you have three divine persons with three divine minds and three divine wills who are all three divinely eternal and who all three interact with each other you have by definition three divine gods.
The Nicene Creed strangely states that the "Father is Almighty, the Son is Almighty, and the Holy Spirit is Almighty...but this is not three Almighties"...which leads the human brain into a fog. Like I said before, it's no better than saying this is a chair, here is another chair, and that's also a chair, but it's really one chair. It's entirely incoherent and completely contradicts God's character of not being the author of confusion (1 Corithians 14:33).
The fact that trinitarians don't understand that Oneness theology recognizes the distinction between the Father and the Son is very concerning but I could understand if a trinitarian had that misconception if they listen to trinitarian pastors.
The better interpretation of the Biblical data is that you have one God who is one Person(our heavenly Father), His self expression (His [the Father's] Word-Jesus), and His Wisdom (His [the Father's] Spirit-the Holy Spirit).
The Greek word for "Word" is "Logos" which means "[someone's] self-expression or expressed thought."
So the proper interpretation is that Jesus is the physical self-expression of the Father. Meaning that he [Jesus] is the physical representation of the Father (Col 1:15; John 14:9; Isa 9:6). All the fullness of Deity [of the Father] dwells within Jesus bodily (Col 2:9). If you were to read Hebrews 1:3 in Greek, what it would literally say is that Jesus is the exact reproduction (Greek word "charactér") of the Father's substance or being (Greek word "hypostasis"). So yes, Jesus is the Father manifest (which means "revealed") in flesh. This is what Oneness theology teaches and it's very simple.
It'a also important to know that Jesus did not always exist and did in fact have his beginning in the womb of Mary. Like Scripture says in John 5:26 the Father gave life to Jesus and like Revelation 3:14 says that Jesus is the beginning of the creation of God. Now that doesn't mean Jesus is the literal "beginning" of the creation of God but the correct interpretation would be that Jesus was the first thought of God and all things were made with Jesus in mind-"For in him [Jesus] were all things created..."(Col 1:16). Nevertheless is still says Jesus is a "creation."
The fact that the terms "God the Son" and "God the Holy Spirit" never appear in the Bible should be very alarming to trinitarians. Did it ever occur to trinitarians that the Holy Spirit never sends any greetings yet the Father and Jesus do? Did that ever occur to you? Did it ever occur to you that the Holy Spirit is never prayed to? We would expect someone somewhere in the Bible to recognize the Holy Spirit's personhood and pray to "God the Holy Spirit." But we never find that which is what lead the Seventh-day Adventists in one of their meetings to label the Holy Spirit the "shy member" of the trinity.
What we find it that the Holy Spirit is simply the Spirit of our heavenly Father. To say that the Holy Spirit is a seperate person would be like saying that Adam's spirit is another person than he is. It's completely absurd.
Jesus said that “God is a Spirit” in the context of saying, “the Father seeks true worshipers to worship Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).” Since “God is a Spirit” and since the Father alone seeks true worshipers to worship Him in Spirit and in truth, the Father must be that “One Spirit” (Ephesians 4:4-6, “one Spirit … One God and Father above all, through all, and in you all.”) who is to be worshiped.
According to John 12:49, God the Father gave Jesus the commands to speak to his disciples (“For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.”- John 12:49) while Acts 1:2 states that Jesus “had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen (Acts 1:2).”
Since John 12:49 states that the Father gave Jesus the commands to speak, but Acts 1:2 states that the Holy Spirit gave those commands, the Holy Spirit must be the Spirit of the Father who indwelt Jesus (“the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, He does the works” - John 14:10), led Jesus (“Jesus was led by the Spirit”- Matthew 4:1), and gave him the commandments to speak (“the word which you hear is not mine, but the Fathers” - John 14:24). Thus, Scripture proves that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father who gave the man Christ Jesus the words and commandments to speak to his disciples.

If God is 3 persons, we have polytheism. Calling it monotheism fails on all levels except psychosis. There is only one God who said there are no other persons beside Him. If you don't believe God and presume to tell Him what He is, you're kind of demented. That is the Strong Delusion for those who did not love the truth.

King James - Seven pallets later, I lost 20 pounds and had a chance to listen to a lot of opinions on many Biblical subjects. I've come to the conclusion that the coming of the Antichrist will catch most in a snare that's so convincing, few are ready to resist him and stand. Jesus being tempted in the wilderness keeps coming to mind as an example of how we will be tried like gold.

Trinity is worst possible blasphemy and false pagan god! Yahuwah is one! Whoever believes in Trinity, denies both the Father (true God) and Son (true son of God).

Jehovahs witness’s are considered Unitarian. They believe in 1 person as almighty God, and then many lesser demigods, which is what Jesus is according to them. Satan as well as the god of this world. The reason why I asked is because you said that Trinitarians deny the Father and the Son. You even used the word “both” which indicated to me that you believe they are 2 separate beings. Which is Unitarian. And a modalist, or oneness believer denies the deity of the Son because they only believe he was a Son according to flesh, and that He is no longer the Son. Which is incorrect because Jesus said what’s born of flesh is flesh and what’s born of Spirit is Spirit. And then he said in the next chapter that God is a Spirit, which according to chapter 3, Jesus can only be Son of God by the Spirit, not by the flesh. And in Revelation, Jesus reveals Himself as the Son of God in Heaven. This is after His role here on earth, but he still says He is the Son of God. So my comment was to either see if you were a Unitarian who doesn’t deny the Son, but denies His deity, or a oneness modalist that actually denies the Son and his deity. A trinitarian does not deny either one. They acknowledge both Father and Son and the equal deity between them. They do not deny that there is only One God. If you talk to one, they would not tell you they believe in three Gods. They will say they believe in One God. A Unitarian believes in one Almighy but many little gods, angels, demons, the devil. So which are you?

By these definitions, I would be Unitarian. Yashuah is not God, he is son of one true God, Yahuwah. No three gods, no three persons of godhead.

Zlatko Matić yes you would be considered a Unitarian. Now with that established, how do you define “denying the Son and the Father”? In accordance to your accusation of the Trinitarian doctrine?

    Mind, Body and Soul.
    Thoughts, Actions and Emotions.
    Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
the Father is the Mind and does the thinking... once the father has made up his mide he put it into action, Jesus is the word / body / action... this is why Jesus did not know the day or hour, that is because the day and hour is a thought that has not been put into action yet !!!
when Jesus prayed to the Father, he was meditating to balance his fleshly thoughts with the fathers thoughts.

So are you saying that you are 3 different persons and indentities, and each of them are not each other, but just unity in a human?
If so why do you say "Hi I am this...", when you should say "Hi We are this...". Are you really 3 diffrent persons and individuals in one body? Has your soul a different name than your body? Massive confusion my friend, which is not the orcales of God, but imagination of man. The flesh mind sows death, but the Spirit life.
May God Our Father lead you to the truth, and give you peace and grace through Lord Jesus Christ!❤️💕

Evangelist James White, a professor of theology, and a Protestant, writes: “We hang a person’s very salvation upon the acceptance of the doctrine...No one dares question the Trinity for fear of being branded a heretic… We must know, understand, and love the Trinity to be fully and completely Christian” (The Forgotten Trinity, pp. 14-15). Nothing in this statement is Biblical. He states we must know and understand the Trinity, but is that possible? Most Christians, by definition, are Modalists and don’t know it! Pastors and Theologians admit that the Trinity is a mystery beyond understanding, as stated in A Handbook of Christian Truth, we read, “The mind of man cannot fully understand the mystery of the Trinity. He who has tried to understand the mystery fully will lose his mind; but he who would deny the Trinity will lose his soul” (pp. 51-52).
Let’s seek to put this in prospective, we must know and understand the Trinity in order to be fully Christian, as our very salvation depends one this… But on the other hand, as admitted by Christian scholars, we cannot understand the Trinity, and if we try, we will lose our minds, what? How, with this, are we to do what Christians are admonished to do by the apostle Paul, that is, “Prove all things: hold fast that which is good”? (1 Thessalonians 5:21). These admissions by Christian scholars of the Trinity, “...impossible to understand,” “misunderstood,” and “presents strange paradoxes.” It is a fact, that this Trinitarian Doctrine is widely disputed. It is very confusing, and “God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Why do Christians believe in the Trinity?
Where in the Bible does God say, "Thus says the LORD, 'I am Triune'”? Or, where does the Bible state God is a Trinity? In fact, the Bible does not teach the Trinity. Apparently, the Trinity is man's definition of God, which was never given by God. Martin Luther preached that, "It is indeed true that the name 'Trinity' is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man" (The Sermons of Martin Luther, John Lenker, editor, Vol. 3, 1988, p. 406). The Trinity is not revealed by God, it is not understandable, and it is man's attempt to define God! What? Should we not accept only what the LORD has revealed to us? We are saved by our belief in the name and Person of Christ, and not by any belief in the man-made doctrine of the Trinity!
Historian H.G. Wells, wrote, "There is no evidence that the apostles...ever heard of the Trinity--at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499).
The Bible does teach that all things were given to the Son (Matthew 11:27-30). The Bible tells us that no man has seen the Father at any time (John 1:18). We, the children of Adam and Adam himself, have never seen the Father at any time. It was only the Son of God, who appeared, and who because He was given all things is our only God, as the Father declares the Son to be our God and Creator: “But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” And: “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands” (Hebrews 1:8-10). All the people in the Bible who have claimed to see the LORD, it was the Son they saw.
One of the proof-texts for the Trinity is found in Isaiah 44:6-8, but on closer inspection these verses do not prove the Trinity. Ask yourself, who is speaking here, the Father or the Son? It is written: “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, let them show these to them. Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one’” (Isaiah 44:6-8). Who is the Rock?
The apostle Paul gives the answer: "Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ" (1 Corinthians 10:1-4).
The Father has nothing to do with sin, and therefore, He has given all things to the Son, who until all things are complete and death and sin are no more, Christ alone is our God. Christ alone is the Shema of Israel (Deuteronomy 6:4). When all things are complete and death is no more, then the Son will turn everything back over to the Father (1 Corinthians 15:20-28). In the name of Christ, I declare to you that the Trinity is false! The Trinitarians have taken control of Christianity, it is time for a change back to the truth. A Christian is not to be defined by the Trinitarians. Christians do not have to be Trinitarian to be a Christian! There is not one proof-text in the Bible that proves the Trinity. It represents the sin of man to seek to define God. In YAHSHUA’s Name, Amen.
