Just to mention, you can dial down the background lighting for the MPDs with the VID knob. Decrease the VID setting to about 9-10 o'clock position and the TSD map and symbology contrasts pretty well.
An advantage of the SAT map type is the option to have elevation colored and better display potential "cover". 😊

Heads up. The FCR is now an option in the loadout / livery page and no longer available on the 'aircraft properties' page.
I just checked few days ago but i cant have the fcr....pls how can i have the longbow
@@jamilayahyaoui101 when you rearm your aircraft, it will be listed on the armament page. You have to select it like you do missiles, rockets, fuel tanks...
Thanks much for the binding info. I've had the Apache since day 1 but put it on the shelf waiting on FCR and other updates. I'll dig back into it. Hope I have enough hats / switches for this mofo Jeez.
FYI you can still use the radar Hellfires as before when we didn’t have the FCR and range the target with the TAS and let fly. So yes if you want to shoot them with the FCR the range is shorter but you don’t have to use the FCR for them every time. It’s still probably a good idea to carry both just so your options aren’t limited. Anyway great video. Thanks for making and sharing this!🤙

I''m new to the forums so I can't post for another day but I did find a crash with Apache. In the CPG seat, set the NVS mode to fixed and try to change the acquisition source and you'll crash. Hopefully someone can reproduce this.

What does the GMT binding do, I don’t think I had to use this ?
You don't have to use it. I don't know why people are saying you need it
Gmt radar ’s mode means ground mobile target so basically when any ground target have à speed....GT radar’s mod is when the threat is static ( in real life )
im shooting radar guided hellfires from 7500ms its the same as laser..
Yeah can shoot the radar hellfires from that range but the actual FCR has that 6km scan range so if you want to use the radar hellfires with the FCR, you’re gonna be in closer ranges to targets.
How are you cycling tgts
Why you use terrain and building masking. I can get real close to sa-19 tangusta, spelling. Not saying you don't have to be careful, but it is more than possible to get close.
Just to error on the side of caution and my personal preference in approach. I hate making a long flight only to get blown out of the air as I arrive on station so I take those precautions. That said, beauty of the sim is you can fly however you like as long as you’re having fun.

Only gamer play like this ....real chopper’s pilot use terrain to hide their flight so flying extremly low and fast minimize your time exposure to any ground threat on the huge battlefield....be clever why u are supposed to fly high....if u wanna fly as a weird gamer so keep on doing this and go to play war thunder or ace combat. ..but if u wanna fly as a dedicated simmer learn to fly as real pilots and stay in DCS
Woah cowboy calm down. Also most people playing in DCS don’t have a human CPG to handle the weapons delivery like they do in real life. So flying low and fast and trying to get targets and shoot at same time solo is not an ideal option..
