What I would like to know is why did you purchase an SLR instead of a mirrorless ? (I know there are advantages, just curious which one did it for you ..)
The main reasons for my choosing the DSLR over a mirrorless camera are longer battery life, the feel of the DSLR body, proven reliability from my past experience with the Canon 80D, the viewfinder, and sensor protection. While dust and debris are still an issue with the DSLR, mirrorless cameras seem more susceptible to these problems due to their directly exposed sensors when changing lenses.
