Our development team has redesigned this Tatula SV reel to be smallest and lightest most stress free reel we have ever built. This amazing Tatula SV reels is coming in at a feather weight of 6.7oz. and it may be the lightest, most controlled casting reel in the market today. What really make this the reel special is the patented SV Spool and our Airbrake Technology. I fish this reel. My first baitcaster, actually first reel ever lol. It's pretty nice. Light. Smooth. I do birds nest it once in a while. Out of user error though. I actually really love it. I bought an SLX DC after a few months and I honestly prefer my Tatula SV TW.
That's funny I recently got the older tatula ct and I have more enjoyment when using the daiwa also over my slx dc!

That daiwa boat looks menacing
I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well czcams.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.

Could anyone tell me the dimensions of this tatula sv bearing?
I recently bought this reel and I’ve been having problems. I don’t know if this is the ‘norm’ with this reel but the spool on my right hand has a very large gap and with my experience there shouldn’t one that big or none at all. The gap is literally between 1/16 and 2/16 inches big. I have braided line on mine and the line has already gotten caught in the gap and raveled around the spool rod. I have to take off the side of the reel then unravel the line from that spot and I’ve done it multiple times already. Can someone please help? Thanks.
