It is soo beautiful, Herlene! No wonder why at my age of 68, I am so fascinated with you,....maybe because we both have Ilocano blood! Kamote! The Ilocanos signature! Thank you for all the interviews from Herlene! So nostalgic! Her answers are so surprising from a girl her age!
These two are the best examples of happy people and contented of what they achieved!two different in any ways but equally empowering and examples to follow!!

At that point it was past 6pm so kailangan ng energy... Short lang ang interview because may interview pa mga queens for Metro, tapos pagod na din si Herlene at mukhang may ibang commitments pa, kaya sa akin lng nakapagpainterview si Herlene at di na nakadaan kina Adam at sa theqrown... Laking pasalamat na din kay Sir Wil dahil pagod na sila at that point. Everyday kasi may schedule mga winners

Di nag-Tagalog Janina San Miguel sir when I backwatched. Pero I think it would've been better talaga kung Tinagalog niya na lang yun nga, naiwasan sana yung ganun awkward Q&A moment. With that, I agree with your video's sub-topic with Stacey & Budol na kung saan ka kumportable na language much better dun ka na lang, tutal english is not a pageant requirement though it's an advantage. Sa tingin ko dun kay Janina tinuloy na lang ipanalo yun kasi mukhang napasubo na judges & organization kasi best in swimsuit & gown siya, I believe when you get those 2 awards wala nang atrasan pa na mabigyan ng main crown. In fairness kay Janina, she was beautiful that pageant night.

Janina San Miguel didn't answer in Tagalog. She buckled big time as she was still trying so hard. I've watched it live in Araneta in 2008. The other Filipina who answered in Tagalog was Anthea Robles in 1988 then Czarina Gatbonton in 2010.🙂
